Here are all my reviews:
  • Prescriptives Super Line Preventor Xtreme Lifting Concentrate

This is an exceptional serum. I tried a sample of this and fell in love. It has good packaging to keep the product airtight, potent, and sanitary. It is less expensive that Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair and more that Olay's Regenerist Fragrance Free Serum, but very comparable. I actually prefer it to Lauder's. It is does not have a fragrance and feels great on the skin, leaving it smooth, hydrated and soft without any irritation or causing acne. If you like anti-aging serums this is an excellent one which should give your results.

  • Cutex Essential Care Advanced One Step Nail Polish Remover Pads

I used this to remove polish from all of my finger nails and probably could have removed them from my toes too. They were a little pricey, but were convenient, effective and I did not get those little cottony linty remnants left on my fingers. Nice to stash in your purse. Convenient--nothing to spill.

  • Neutrogena Visibly Bright Daily Facial Cleanser

It cleaned my skin well, but made it red and irritated. It is inexpensive, but has too much fragrance. I would not recommend this for regular use and for sure not for sensitive skin. Neutrogena has other much better cleansers.

  • Prescriptives Flawless Skin Concealer SPF 25

I have been trying to find a replacement for my Clinique City Stick and thought I would try this. I love the spf 25 factor--future wrinkle prevention. It is creamy and not too dry. It covers my dark circles really well, lasts, it is not drying and I was able to successfully choose a great color that blends perfectly with my skin with the help of their online chat reps. It is not ashy looking and warm 2 matches my skin. It does not settle into fine wrinkles and covers spots well. It is on the high side of what I would pay for a concealer, but worth it.

  • Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum

This is fine as a primer under makeup for temporarily cosmetically smoothing pores (think spackle) when used from time to time. I personally would not use it regularly or use it if you have sensitive skin because it contains a lot of alcohol which is not good for any skin type and rosemary which is a skin irritant. It did make my face red. Clinique has much better skin care options and I prefer Smashbox's primer because they work as well and do not have the irritation potential.

  • Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin Mini

I have straight, very fine, unruly hair. I am hair impaired, and generally have a difficult time with hair accessories. They usually fall out or do not hold my hair, pull out or break my hair. I was skeptical about these staying in and holding my hair in place, but curious and kept picking them up and putting them back at the store. They were on sale and I finally broke down and bought them. It is SO easy to make cute hair styles with these. I did a bun and also a "too cute" half up-do with the sides of my hair pulled back into a bun--I love it as I am growing out my bangs and layers. These are great for fine hair. If you have thick, curly hair, try the full sized ones.

  • Clinique Superbalanced Powder Makeup SPF 15

This is a high quality powder with a built-in grinder. It gives a nice natural perfecting finish. It is almost matte, but with a tiny bit of glowing dimension, so it both conceals wrinkles and imperfections without being flat. The color match for my light-med. skin tone was perfect. It worked well in both my dry and oily areas. The grinder works well at milling to a fine powder and it is not as messy as loose. I prefer my own brushes, but the one provided is no bad. My allergy prone skin did not react to this. It is reasonably priced and is worth considering on your short list of powders.

  • Avon GLAZEWEAR Lip Gloss

I tried this in Mauve Movement which is a good color better than natural lip rose color that would work for anyone. This is a very affordable gloss. It goes on like a gloss, but looks and feels more like a tinted Chapstick. It is decently pigmented, lasts a while, but is still sheer. I am kind of neutral on this one. It looks nice, but very casual. I personally prefer something shinier and/or more pigmented or shimmery. It also has a slight soapy smell to me that I did not love.

  • Clinique Instant Lift for Brows
    10.0

    Clinique Instant Lift for Brows

    Great Natural Definition!

I HATE the ubiquitous "plucked off and painted back on" brow, and have naturally almost perfect brows (wish all my features were as good), so I have avoided eyebrow pencils until recently. Thought I would try it and at least be able to use the highlighter even if I hated the pencil. I have fine blonde hair with brown eyebrows and ordered this in soft brown which was a perfect color for me. It is dual ended retractable, no sharpen pencil. The highlighter is a bright beigey "nude" color with a rounded end. The eyebrow pencil tip is angled so you can fill in with the wide flat part or draw in individual hairs with the fine tip. The highighter gave some lift and glow under my brow. The pencil defined and filled where I plucked or covere a grey. It stayed put in the summer heat, although I did not try it in the pool or running a marathon, either. It made my eyes look more polished, framed, and defined, yet really natural. It was only $15 and is especially a deal if you can score some goodies with it. If you are debating, it is worth a try.

  • CND Shellac
    8.0

    CND Shellac

They really do last and last and last.

I usually skip the manicure because I absolutely destroy them. I normally, nick smudge or dent them when done at a salon because I am antsy. I ruin them because I am a very hands on person. Forget doing them at home. I am impatient and get polish every where. I was very skeptical, but had the cnd shellac done at a salon for a special event. It was awesome. My event was 3 days after my appointment--I had a very hectic schedule! I deep cleaned, landscaped, and they were PERFECT! Shiny and smooth. You cannot chip, break, or dent them even immediately after they are done. Your nails will grow out long before you can damage them--I am the poster child for that. The only downside is that they are a little damaging to the nails--I had 3 in a row and I do not like the idea of soaking my hands in acetone or the UV light (I do use sunscreen before I get my nails done). These are worth the money if you need your nails to look good. I hate chips and peeling polish!!! The color range is good--they could add some more colors. I like this much better than regular manicures. It only takes about a half hour to remove the old shellac and put on the new.
