  • Gillette Venus Embrace Razor

I have been using this razor for a few weeks now and I cannot get over how smooth my legs feel after using it. The Venus Embrace bestows a whole new level of smoothness. I love how it fits comfortably in my hand and how the handle is the perfect length. The five curve-hugging blades make it easier to shave without continually cutting yourself. I also love the handy suction cupped ShowerPod that holds the razor plus 2 spare cartridges. In July 2008 a leading women’s publication named Embrace: “Your Best Shave Ever.” I can certainly see why! These razors are a world apart from other razors I have used. I have been a loyal user of mens replacement blades for years now because they give a much better shave than the women's shavers. But from my experience with the Venus Embrace, I am totally hooked! It's easy to use, a good value, plus you get a great smooth shave. I highly recommend both of these shavers!

  • Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara

I would not re-buy the fatty mascara. The brush is so huge it makes me feel like I am gonna either poke my eye out or smash mascara all over my eye. It is huge even the bottle is big and heavy, like it could last 5 years but we all know the reality of mascara. Not worth the money. It did separate my lashes pretty good but nothing better than Max Factor Lash Perfection.

  • Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer

The shades are fabulous. Very sparkly metallic ingredients make the sheer shades pop. I enjoyed the texture and the colors are magnificent. At least splurge and get one. They are a must have. A+ for this lipgloss.

  • Max Factor Vivid Impact Eyeshadow Duo

As odd as these seemed I had to try them. Eye shadow on a stick, what's next? I can honestly say these did nothing for me. Other than liking the shade, application is quite dysfunctional. You have to use your fingers or other tools like brushes or sponges to move the product. The stick has a flat top that makes it even less user friendly. This is just a "C" thanks to its pigment.

  • Too Faced Diamond Gloss

    Too Faced Diamond Gloss

    Don't Waste Your Money

I have this in White Diamond and don't care very much for it! Once tasted, it is not tasteful nor did I observe any diamonds in the gloss. Another minus is the way it spreads like grease and disappears much too quickly. Technically, it is not worth it as compared with better lip-glosses on the market. Girls, I suggest you don't waste your money on this one. Sorry Too Faced, I love your other products but this one is a bust. You get a C in my book.

  • Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup

I was so… over mineral make up. Then came this. After deciding to give it a chance, to my huge surprise, it turned out to be a great everyday "daytime" make up. The packaging does make a difference. The puff gives you a flawless application as it made my skin look fantastic. It has somewhat of a Matte finish unlike BareMinerals. Once I apply the concealer, then this product, I am good to go. In my book it gets a B+. This product receives a lesser grade even though it is very cool. Despite its excitement, the packaging is not very hygienic. Overlooking the packaging, it is a great finishing powder used over a liquid/cream makeup. It does not give a very solid coverage. In my book, it is characterized as light to Medium.

  • Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer

The cream was thicker than I am use to. Despite, it works wonderfully. It has a yellowish undertone, which does an excellent job concealing my dark circles. With the lines underneath my eyes, once I set it using the powder, it stays in place. No creasing or fading occurred. For those reasons, they get an A in my concealer book. I would applaud a translucent powder instead of one with color, which is the reason why its does not get an A+.

  • Olay Pro-X Wrinkle Smoothing Cream
    2.0

    Olay Pro-X Wrinkle Smoothing Cream

    Didn't Notice Any Changes

Every morning after cleansing my skin, I would apply the Age Repair Lotion, followed by the Wrinkle Smoothing Cream. Next I would use the Eye Restoration Complex. Then in the evening after thoroughly cleansing my skin, I would use the Wrinkle Smoothing Cream along with the eye complex. The first week of using these products I experienced a few breakouts, but that is to be expected when starting a new skin care regime. By the third week, I have not noticed any visible changes to my fine lines or to my skins texture. Now just because I cannot "see" any visible changes doesn't necessarily mean that these products do not work. We have to keep in mind that ANYTHING takes time for results to be seen. We each have different skin needs and so what works for some, may not work for others.

  • L'Oreal Paris EverPure Moisture Shampoo

I have fine highlighted color treated hair and to keep the color looking healthy and vibrant I like to use color safe sulfate-free products. I spend a lot of money on my hair as well as on products, so when I first heard that L'Oreal was coming out with a sulfate-free color care system, I was excited to try it out. I tried the moisture shampoo which has a Rosemary Juniper scent. I found that this shampoo lathered up okay and rinsed out easily. But the scent left something to be desired. It reminded me of a cheap aftershave lotion, not appealing to me at all. Unfortunately I was not impressed with this shampoo as it left my fine, thin hair, looking flat, dull and frizzy. I really wanted to like this shampoo but was disappointed in the results I got. :(

  • L'Oreal Paris EverPure Moisture Conditioner

I have fine highlighted color treated hair and to keep the color looking healthy and vibrant I like to use color safe sulfate-free products. I spend a lot of money on my hair as well as on products, so when I first heard that L'Oreal was coming out with a sulfate-free color care system, I was excited to try it out. This conditioner is thick and creamy, but the scent reminded me of aftershave lotion and toothpaste. Weird combination but that's what it smelled like to me. It's not an overpowering smell in any way, I just don't happen to care for it. Unfortunately I was not impressed with this conditioner. It left my thin fine hair, looking flat, dull and frizzy. I really wanted to like this conditioner but was disappointed in the results I got.
