Here are all my reviews:
  • Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser

While I wouldn't recommend using this every day, as Aveda suggests, I look forward to the two days a week that I do replace my usual face wash with this fragrant goody. (Although during the winter, when flakes become a major problem, I find myself reaching for this more often.) Perfectly spherical jojoba beads suspended in a rich cream remove buildup without scratching, tearing, or otherwise irritating your skin, which non-spherical scrubs do (those that use crushed kernals, salt flakes, etc.), and rinse completely.

  • MD Formulations Antioxidant Moisturizer SPF 20

As much as I'm a makeup junkie, skin care always comes first. For me, daytime moisturizer must contain SPF and be fragrance free, brimming with antioxidants, and housed in stable packaging. This moisturizer covers all that and more. It's super silky texture is readily absorbed. It makes an excellent canvas for makeup, obviating the need for primer. Normal to dry skin types cannot do any better than this moisturizer.

  • Stila #27 Perfecting Foundation Brush

The size, shape, and handle length of this brush make it a decent way to transfer foudation from the bottle to your face. The problem with this brush is that it gobbles up most of your foundation, so even if you pick up a lot, there's not much left to paint on. It's a huge waste. This brush excels at blending, though. It's big, flat head and smooth bristles make it a good option for applying foundation all over your face, and they're dense enough to create a perfectly smooth finish.

  • Urban Decay Big Budda Brush

As its (mildly offensive) name suggests, this brush is BIG. Big and oh-so-soft. I use it to apply bronzer and MAC beauty powders and mineralize skin finishes to my legs and chest. It picks up just the right amount of product and distributes it lightly, making the shade easy to control.

  • Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil

I love this lip pencil in Oxygen; it's clear so it goes with everything! It's also smooth, long-lasting, and keeps my lipstick from feathering or bleeding. It seems expensive, but I've gone through several of Sally Hansen's clear lip liners (which are non-sharpening) to every one of these.

  • Kiehl's Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant

I was getting desperate when I tried this. Not even the prescription deo my derm prescribed works as well as this to combat both odor and wetness. In spite of its powerful protection, this is also the gentlest deodorant I've ever used. I can apply it straight out of the shower on my freshly-shaved pits without so much as a twinge of pain. It also truly unscented and clear--no more white marks on clothes. The cream formula isn't as messy as it sounds. You squeeze a small pea-sized amount onto pits and then rub it in with the flat-top plastic applicator (it's built like a lipgloss). When I use this after my AM shower, I got to bed still dry and odor-free.

  • Lippmann Collection Nail Lacquer

If you can get past the sticker shock ($16 a bottle!), you'll be treated to high-quality nail polish housed in a beautiful regency-style bottle. My other polishes live in a drawer in my bathroom, but these babies are on display. The color goes on true to what's in the bottle and lasts for days without chipping or fading, even without a top coat. The smell is mild and I swear they make my nails healthier.

  • Origins Gloomaway Grapefruit Body Souffle

Origins gets some stars for the unique fragrance of this body moisturizer: citrus-y and spicy, but they failed at everything else. From the clunky jar packaging that jeopardizes sanitation to the moisture-zapping "souffle" the jar contains to the laughable price tag, this product is a loser. When I used it on my hands, arms, and legs, I immediately wiped it off and re-moisturized with Lush's Dream Cream. It felt gross and zapped my skin of what little moisture it had.

  • MAC Select Sheer/Loose

    MAC Select Sheer/Loose

For a flawless finish over makeup or alone

I wear MAC Select Sheer/Loose in NC5, over my "finished" face. Weightless and comfortable (you can't feel it on your skin), it blends into my skin so beautifully, I often wear it in place of my ususal foundation. It really is very sheer, so even if the color you pick up doesn't match your skin exactly, you still won't be able to tell you're wearing powder. I especially like to dust this powder under my eyes to take the shine off my concealer and even out the color.

  • bareMinerals All-Over Face Color

I've never been a fan of mineral makeup, and a sample of this powder did nothing to change my mind. It has some sparkle to it, and gave my skin a pinkish cast. Even with the lightest of applications, you could tell I was wearing powder.
