Here are all my reviews:
  • CoverGirl Cheekers Blush

I remember using these as a teenager. I would use a darker one to contour my cheeks. I find them to still be good drugstore blushes. They have decent pigment without being overly so. They still have that same flowery smell that I remember. But it is almost a pharmaceutical flowery smell. Very strange, but takes me back 20 some years. They have a decent range of colors and they wear well with a good foundation base. Overall, I would recommend trying them at least once! If you are sensitive to smell, though, you might want to steer clear.

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Blush

I got one of these free with a powder. It is a light peachy color (I got a fair colored powder). I find it needs multiple applications to build up to be seen. A full sized with give you lots of product, but I think the price is pretty high to test out another one that may be just as poorly pigmented. I love the texture though. It's a very creamy smooth texture and when the color is built up it looks terrific and natural. I'm a bit on the fence.

    LORAC Blush

    Only need a little.

I got one of these blushes in the unzipped set that was on Haute Look. I came with a 4 shadow palette, a nude lipgloss, some super messy to apply mascara, and a rosy blush that looked like it might be too dark for my fair skin. I found the blush to be quite pigmented, but using just a little it looked very natural on. It's a nice smooth blush that blends easily. There isn't any shimmer in the one I have helping the natural look. It went really well with the rest of the products also. I don't know if I would spend the money on another blush by itself, but I am quite happy with the one I have.

  • Wet n Wild Color Icon Blusher

WnW blushes are great! They are on the powdery side and a little goes a long way. They do blend well and look terrific on. I have fair skin and would love to see them come out with more colors. Pearlecent Pink is the only one I have bought out of fear the others will be to dark on my fair skin. WnW packaging leaves something to be desired, but that probably is what helps keep the price down. I would love more sturdy packaging like Sleek from the UK. I have seen more broken product on the shelves at the store than I care to think about. The brush that comes with it will work in a pinch. You get a decent amount of product for the price - especially considering you don't need a lot as it's super pigmented. Overall I highly recommend.

  • Milani Baked Blush
    6.0

    Milani Baked Blush

Not quite up to the hype for me.

I have one of these. Maybe I should try another one. The one I have is rose di'oro I think. I find it to be pretty powdery. It's a decent blush, but something I would say is worth all the hype it gets. They are quite shinny so if you want a matte blush, these are NOT it. They are compared to Mac MSF's, but I have never tried them. I imagine they would be smoother and less powdery for the price (just my guess - no one every really says.) It wears well with a good foundation base - the kind with minimal transfer. They can look pretty patchy at the end of the day if you have a very wet makeup base. Maybe because of too much transfer (from phones, touching your face, what not) so a good base is important. The price is ok, but I have to order Milani products online as I live in a small town with Rite Aid and Walmart (where I won't shop) for options. I don't always know if it's worth it to pay shipping and what not for products online and then there is more hassle for returns. However, I think I would purchase more of these because they do give a nice glow. They do last all day with a good base. They are really pretty and I think baked products are fun. I do hate the packaging. Overall I would recommend these as they are reasonably priced, you get a decent amount of product, and they are pretty.

  • Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush

Ok, PF is really into some gimmicky stuff. But some of their products really are great. The mood boosting whatsits I don't believe in. The fact that I am swirling my brush around in hearts is what makes me smile. I have the color natural and it is a great color for my fair skin. It's apparently a great dupe for Mally's Glow blush. I find that I have to have a good makeup base to start with and the blush will stay all day. If I use something that doesn't have staying power (some tinted moisturizers or very wet bb creams) then it looks splotchy and weird later in the day. PF has a pretty high price point for the drug store. Everything seems to range from $10 to $15. You do get a lot of product for you money though. I don't like the packaging. I am not a fan of the different mirror compartment and not so great brush underneath the actual product. I prefer a sleek compact with the mirror in the lid. Don't waste money on the crappy brush and oversize packaging please. It is a great drugstore blush and you can use the different shades swirled together or individually with smaller brushes. This makes it a very multipurpose product. Overall this is something I recommend for lovers of cute blush who like a nice natural glow.

  • Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream

This is one of the first bb creams I have tried. From what I hear, it is not typical of an actual bb cream. For some reason in the UK they have more colors and now have a combination/oily skin version. I hope they bring that over here! First off, I have fair skin. Their shade selection stinks. I have the light/medium and it is too dark. I fix this by mixing it with my current favorite foundation. It is too moist - not good for oily skin or oily parts of the face for us combination gals. Again - this is sort of helped by mixing in my (drier) foundation. Powder is a must to set. I haven't notice any long term benefits to it. It does give me a nice glow (maybe because the shade is too dark it makes me look tan). It does not cover enough for me - again mix with foundation. The smell is the typical garnier flowery smell. It doesn't last after application, but my powder brush sure stinks of it as it transfers when I powder. I have tried with a primer and without. If you don't set it it won't matter. It transfers quite a lot. Again I fix this by mixing it with my foundation (I know I have said that what 50 times now?) If you have dry skin, or are in your 20's you may love this all on it's own. If not you may have to find ways to make it work for you. I personally won't repurchase unless they bring in more colors and the combination/oily skin version to the US.

    the Balm shadyLady Powder Shadow

    Smooth and pigmented

I really love the balm eyeshadow. It's so soft and smooth. Blends easily and they have terrific colors. They last all day with a primer without fading on me. I am starting to prefer the balm eyeshadow over any other - even urban decay. You get a decent amount of product for the price and little often goes a long way. You can buy the shady lady colors in palettes too. They have 3 great palettes. I actually got a full sized shadow (shameless shanna - a great bronze color) in my My Glam bag recently and I love it! They need to put more balm products on this website to review because the are awesome!

    the Balm Overshadow

    Great transformer

I have work is overrated. It does come off a bit too shimmery at first but tones down through the day. I wore it over some purple colors and it turned it into a taupe purple color that looked gorgeous. They are loose shadows in adorable containers. A tiny bit goes a long way. I want to buy the other three colors now! I find that I enjoy grabbing it so I can experiment and find out how it will change the color I pick for the day! It's a really great product that doesn't get enough love. Maybe because that is because people don't know how to use it or don't realize the way it can change an eyeshadow color to something completely unique. I highly recommend. If you want to save money check Haute Look regularly for when the balm comes at a discount.

  • Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint
    2.0

    Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint

    Worst of the finishes

I found that the matte version is the worst of the tarte lipsurgences for me. They feel a bit gritty when worn. I'm not sure I am a fan of the matte look. I have 2 and I can't wear them unless I layer an original lipsurgence over it. I would love for tarte to come out with more finishes and colors. This one just doesn't work for me.
