  • Aveda Hand Relief

I had heard really great things about this hand cream and I really wanted to like it but it's just not for me. I thought that it was kind of expensive for the amount of cream that you get. It smells good, very natural and earthy not flowery at all so both men and women could use this. The packaging is nice so you could cut it open to scoop out every last drop because I would hate to be wasteful. It does make your hands feel soft but they also feel kind of greasy or like there is some kind of film on them. Overall I just think that there are plenty of other creams out there that aren't as expensive that can make your hands feel soft. I won't be buying this one again.

  • Aveda Air Control Hair Spray

I really like this hair spray. I have pretty thick hair and I've found that this really does a good job of holding my hair in place without making it feel sticky and it doesn't give you that helmet head look either. The scent isn't terribly overpowering like someother hairsprays I've used in the past but it does have a strong scent to it. I only use this once in a great while so the can that I have has lasted for a long time. This was a product recommended to me and I would honestly recommend it to others as well.

  • Aveda Botanical Kinetics Purifying Gel Cleanser

What's not to like about this cleanser? I've been using this gel cleanser for about a month. I love the smell, that fresh and clean scent that Aveda is known for. The cleanser itself is clear (I'm always a little bit leery of colored cleansers since I found out where some of that coloring actually comes from) and one pump from the bottle is plenty to get your face clean. I use this cleanser in conjunction with my Clarisonic cleaner and it really gets the job done. I never feel like I have traces of make up leftover. I do have to use a separate eye make up remover but that's pretty common with most products. My skin is fairly oily and I've noticed that since I started using this my face isn't as oily as it used to be and my skin isn't breaking out like it normally does either. It seems more on the expensive side (maybe because of the glass bottle it comes in?) but if I can have clear skin, it's totally worth it to me.

  • Aveda Botanical Kinetics Exfoliant

I've been using this for about a month and it is amazing. Sometimes when you exfoliate with scrubs, they leave can leave your skin irritated and a little bit raw, that is not the case here. I love that this spray leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed and it doesn't dry out my skin. The glass packaging is nice and environmentally friendly, the only thing I don't like about it is that you can't open up the container to get to that last little bit that's always leftover. It seems a little bit expensive but I live by the rule that you get what you pay for. It's worth it to invest in my skin.

  • Ulta Oil-Free Makeup Remover

    Ulta Oil-Free Makeup Remover

there are better ones out there

I'm glad I only wasted a few dollars on this one. It was almost like using oily water and it definitely did not get all of my eye make up off. I had to really scrub at my eyes to get the mascara off (and I don't wear water proof mascara) which left my eyes irritated and short a few eye lashes. There are other make up removers out there that work far better than this one. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. Next time I won't try to be a bargain shopper, I will buy the good stuff and pay the extra money for it since I know it will get the job done. My advice, don't waste your money because I ended up throwing the bottle away after just a few uses.

  • TIGI Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo
    10.0

TIGI Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo

don't be fooled by the name

This is my favorite shampoo ever. I can almost always find it on sale so the price I have been paying makes it really affordable to me and I can keep it as a staple. It's not just for people with blonde hair either, anyone with any hair color can use it. The smell is amazing and it really lasts in your hair too, even after you've worked out hard at the gym or out in the yard all day. I usually get my hair highlighted (which always dries it out) and this really keeps my hair protected and moisturized. I do use this shampoo with the dumb blonde conditioner and my hair just looks and feels very healthy. I haven't had any problems with it feeling like straw or anything else.

  • Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

I like that there are so many different fragrances to choose from and the scents are not over powering. It seems like these soaps are always on sale so I think the price is reasonable too. I just feel like the soap is really watered down so I have to use more to get that clean feeling. I guess if I'm just washing my hands to get rid of the germs it works well but if my hands are dirtier I'm probably going to reach for something just a little bit stronger. One thing I do like is that for anyone who has kids, the kids seem to like to use the foamy soap so getting them in the habit of washing their hands is really easy.

  • Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam

i love this styling foam! It's pretty light weight and doesn't leave my hair feeling super stiff or sticky. It's a little bit more expensive compared to some other styling products that I've used but I think it's really worth the price, especially because you don't have to use all that much so a bottle it going to last awhile. I noticed that the package says for fine hair on it but my hair is thick and wavy and it works just fine. I love the extra volume and body my hair has when I use this and it really keeps my hair from turning into a big frizzy mess on those humid summer days.

  • Aveda Camomile Shampoo

I bought this at the Aveda salon (it was recommended to me by the woman who highlighted my hair). I think it smells good but other than that I don't know if I would ever spend the money on this again. It cleans well but I don't notice any color enhancement at all. I also notice that my hair seems a little bit drier but I don't know if that's because of the highlights or because of the shampoo. I would ask for samples of this to try before buying it because it's kind of on the expensive side and I don't really know if it's worth the price tag. I'm going to finish out the bottle because I don't want to waste it but I don't think I would buy it again.

  • Aveda Camomile Color Conditioner

This product was recommended to me by the Aveda salon after I got my hair high lighted. I like the smell of it but it seems like I need to use quite a bit on my hair and my hair really isn't that long. I try to leave it in for the recommended time but I'm truly not noticing a big difference in color. It almost seems like it leaves my hair a little bit dry but I'm not sure if that's from getting the highlights or because of the conditioner itself. Whatever the case may be, I spent the money on it so I'm going to keep using it. I would recommend asking for some samples if they are available to try it before you buy it.
