Here are all my reviews:
  • Wella Ocean Spritz

This stuff smells pretty good and gives me that nice beachy texture. I used it before curling my hair (using a clipless conical curl stick) and end up with perfectly imperfect beachy waves. I do have naturally wavy (though the waves don't lay as nicely as they do when I create them with the curl stick), so on a lazy day I spritz this on my air-dried hair, mess it up a bit, and go. If messy-on-purpose waves/curls are what you're after, this is worth the investment.

  • Wella Thermal Image Heat Protection Spray

I bought this after my stylist used it on me. Wella was their line of the month (and thus 25% off), so it was definitely a good choice from that perspective. It smells awesome and protects my hair just as well as what I used to use (CHI Iron Guard). I actually like this a little better than the CHI, but mostly because this smells so much better!

  • Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

I'm not a big fan of the entire 3-step skincare routine from Clinique, but this is definitely the star of the bunch! I have fairly sensitive, breakout-prone skin that gets fairly dry in the winter and is more normal in the summer and spring. Dramatically Different is lightweight enough to wear on a bare face without making it look greasy or oily or under makeup without affecting the look of things. It's not too pricey, and the large bottle lasts me a long time. It's an all-around win in my book!

  • Neutrogena Rapid Clear Daily Treatment Pads

This is one of the few facial products I've found that work well for me. Even though I'm in my mid-20s, my skin seems to think it's still 12. I break out at certain times of the month and when I'm overly stressed. I've tried Proactiv (didn't help at all, just made my skin dry and itchy), Clinique Acne Solutions (took away the breakouts but made my skin so red it looked like a sunburn), and the Clinique 3-step system (worked so-so on the breakouts but didn't irritate) and have not found anything else that works this well. I wash my face in the shower with cleanser (I have a few that I am willing to use, depending on what's on sale or what I have coupons for) then swipe a pad across my face after drying off. The one thing I will say is the scent IS pretty strong, and if I get the stuff too close to my eyes it burns like crazy. I've learned to use them without hurting myself though and my skin is the best its ever been! I can also find these at almost every drugstore/supercenter.

  • Clinique Aromatics Elixir

Horrible scent--not sure why they make something so heavy and overpowering. I work at a department store that sells Clinique and even our Clinique counter manager can barely stand it! She says it still sells well though with the older crowd but nobody under 50 would ever buy it unless they have a Nana they love very much!

  • Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Refreshing Body Mist

They have quite a variety of scents--truly something for everybody. I tend to favor fruity/sweet scents (extremely floral scents don't do so well on my skin, even those that I think smell amazing in the bottle or on a tester strip) and they definitely have those! Strawberries and Champagne has always been my favorite so hopefully they don't discontinue it on me!! The scents are pretty light, but last quite a while. If you want the scent to be more intense, layer it over the matching scented body lotion. They are pretty inexpensive (especially compared to their actual perfumes)--you can get them on sale for $5-$6 dollars apiece if you shop at the right time. I wait for those deals and stock up!! I got started using their sprays when I was in 7th or 8th grade, and 12 years later I'm still a big fan!

  • CHI Silk Infusion

    CHI Silk Infusion

    Pricey but worth it

This is one of my favorite hair products ever! It's pretty pricey, but it's well worth it. I have hair that's about two inches past my shoulders and very thick/wavy with a decent amount of frizz, but I only use about a nickel-sized drop to get my hair smooth and shiny. I bought the large bottle about 8 months ago and I'm still only halfway through the bottle, even though I use it at least 4-5 times per week. I work the nickel-sized drop through my hair when it's damp (from the ends up, of course) then blow dry smooth. Once I finish with my straightener, I also use a VERY tiny drop (like the size of a pea, if not smaller) to smooth over the ends to make my hair extra soft and shiny. Oh...and it smells amazing too!

  • OPI Nail Lacquer

    OPI Nail Lacquer

    Fun colors

I love OPI polishes. They wear well and come in LOTS of great colors with fun names. Their base and top coats are also favorites. They are definitely worth the few dollars more (vs. drugstore brand nail polishes)--the formula is that much better. They also last a long time. I have a few bottles that are 5+ years old (colors I don't wear very often) but they still look and wear as beautifully as the day I bought them. They also are not afraid to play with texture--liquid sand (matte glitter), shatter, different sizes/shapes of glitter, etc.

  • Zoya Nail Polish
    10.0

    Zoya Nail Polish

    Great colors, formula

I love Zoya polishes! My current favorite is Blaze from the 2012 Holiday collection--a pretty berry with multicolored holo glitter. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it and it wears pretty well. I use OPI Base Coat for Natural Nails underneath all of my polishes and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Topcoat on top. I actually think the Zoya polishes last longer on my nails than most other polishes. Instead of ending up with random jagged chips at the tips of my nails, the polish seems to wear away evenly from the tips--I'd rather have that than the random chips! As other people have said, a lot of their formulas are one-coaters (which is awesome if you're like me and very impatient). They also have a lot of colors with great metallic or glitter components. Another great thing is that many of their glitter polishes have great sparkle but aren't gritty and come easily off with regular nail polish remover. I just wish there was somewhere local for me that carried them other than Ulta, which usually doesn't have a great selection of colors.

  • TIGI Catwalk Headshot Heavenly Hydrating Shampoo
    3.0

TIGI Catwalk Headshot Heavenly Hydrating Shampoo

    Smells lovely...and that's all

I'm a manager at a department store and every month our salon has a different product line on sale for 50% off. This past month, it was TIGI and I picked up this shampoo REALLY cheaply (sale price + employee discount=WIN). I LOVE the smell...it's nice and fruity with a minty kick that I love. Unfortunately, that's about where my love stops. It's supposed to be hydrating, but my hair feels almost sticky after I rinse out. I use Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Balm as my conditioner (which I've used in combination with a handful of different shampoos and never had any issues), but even that isn't hydrating enough after this stuff. I ended up giving the rest to my little sister because I hated how my hair felt. It's too bad...it's one of the best smelling shampoos I've ever used!
