I love Lush bath products and they have some great scents, but I can't help noticing the bubbles really don't have much staying power. When I take a Lush bath, it's a long one so it would be great if the bubbles could stick around longer. Update: I found this is only true of SOME of their bubble bars. I had terrible luck with French Kiss, but the Comforter and Rose Jam are both amazing with great scent and lots of long-lasting bubbles. I tried Candy Mountain (a seasonal product) and the bubbles were amazing but I hated the scent. Way too sweet (my fault--Candy is part of the name, I should have known, but it was an impulse buy from the "buy one, get one free" sale).

These are great because they are cheap. If you like to keep a file in every place you might need a file (and let's be honest...that's pretty much every place), these are what you want. Because they are inexpensive. I found that on either side the grit would wear off pretty quickly, plus they are coarse enough (even on the finer side) that you have to be careful to only file in one direction. But, like I said, they cheap so they're great for the purpose of making sure you are never without a file on hand. (No pun intended.)

I was in the mall and realized I had forgotten to pick up a new nail file at the drugstore, but didn't feel like going back. So I popped into Sephora to check out my options. I ended up settling on this file (in purple), but I was very skeptical about how well it would work. I am amazed. It's the best nail file I've ever used and I'm excited that it won't get worn out like the nail files and emery boards I used to use. I keep it in my bathroom drawer so it's less likely to get accidentally broken, but I'm thinking of buying a second to keep in my desk for fixing snagged nails at work. Update: I ended up purchasing two extras of this item--one for my desk drawer and one for "just in case." Which worked out because I accidentally dropped and broke one and I had an extra. I was worried they were on sale at Sephora because they were going to stop making them, but actually they only changed them. They now come in a better case that makes it much more difficult to break one by accident. Worth the money!!

This used to be my favorite file, simply because it was effective enough and inexpensive. But then I got one with a flaw in it that would snag my nail AS I was trying to file away snags. Plus these things don't last all that long if you are one to file your nails regularly (as I am). These finds of files are also best if you only file in one direction as otherwise your nails get weird and rough/snagged. I'm now a huge fan of glass files because you can file back and forth and it makes no difference, and you simply rinse them and they are back to brand new condition. No more Revlon files for me!

I have a very small sample jar of this that I got with a Sephora order awhile ago. I was using it once or twice a week, just to test it out, when I decided I liked it and looked it up on the Sephora site to see what it costs. Yeah. It gets two stars off because it is $90 for 2 oz. Aside from the price, this is an amazing moisturizer. I use as little as possible at a time so this (apparently pricey!!) sample will last as long as possible, and even with minimal application it makes my skin so soft and amazing. It has never caused breakouts, which is very important to me since I tend to be prone to breakouts, especially from new moisturizers. The scent is minimal and pleasant. It's thick, but smooth and not greasy. It soaks right in and even when my skin is super dry and almost scaly (sometimes I miss half a dose of of the supplement I need to keep my skin decent), if I use this before bed, I wake up with almost perfect skin in the morning (still a little dry, if I've missed my supplement--people with normal or even normal dry skin will be fine with this). This cream is so dreamy and if I could afford to buy it regularly I absolutely would.

I often find myself searching for a perfect makeup primer. This is very nearly it and is what I always come back to in between experiments with new products. It's very good. It's reliable. It doesn't make me breakout, ever. It's very light. I can wear it under my powder foundation and except for the fact that my makeup lasts so much longer, I can't even tell I have added another step to my morning routine. I generally buy the travel/sample size tube at Sephora because I only need one tiny dollop to cover my whole face so that small, less expensive, tube lasts me a very long time. I've purchased this multiple times and the only reason I don't give it 10 stars or give in and buy the full size to use full time is that it doesn't control shine as much as I would like. I have oily skin (most of the time) and tend to be shiny by mid-day. My perfect (seemingly imaginary) primer will be light, not break me out, AND control shine. So while this one is close, it isn't QUITE the one. Maybe someday!!

This mascara...it's pretty good. I don't think it's as amazing as I had heard it was before I bought it (the great reviews was the whole reason I bought it). I'm always looking for the mascara that will be perfect for me, but it just isn't this one. I generally take the time for two coats every morning, but even after two coats this mascara doesn't really make my lashes look as amazing as I like it to (nor as amazing as some other mascaras have made them look). I do still think it has a pretty nice formula. Except when my contacts are bothering me and I'm touching my eyes too much, this mascara does not smudge or flake, and I didn't even buy the waterproof version. It is also a very nice shade of black. I think I would just like it to give more volume. When I use it over a lash primer, it's perfect!

I tried this out because I read in an article on Total Beauty that said it was comparable to the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, to which I have been loyal for several years. Since the Fresh is so pricey I decided to give it a try. I like the pump bottle and I like that I get WAY more product for half the price of a small tube of the Fresh cleanser. It appears shimmery but doesn't leave shimmer behind after cleaning (which I like). I've been using it for two weeks and it seems that it really does work just as well as the Fresh I've always loved! It has a nice scent, too.

I've had several of these and I liked them ok...but some shades had WAY too much glitter for my taste. I like how the colors are sheer and I think the applicator is good. They are a tiny bit sticky but I like the scent. I tend to go through them pretty quickly because I reapply so often (they don't last very long, but most glosses don't...).

I ordered this brush thinking I could use it to replace an everyday shadow brush that is getting old. It's not really that kind of brush (I should have known, since it's specifically called a contour brush), but it's GREAT for it's intended purpose. It's a nice high quality brush for the price and does exactly what it's supposed to do.
