Great color, but the smudge...
The black eyeliner is a great color. It is easy to apply, and the color pay off is great. It does stay on all day, and the color definitely does not fade. The problem? It gives me raccoon eyes. After a while, the bottom of my eyes are have a perfect semi circle from the smudging. I even applied some black eyeshadow on top of it to stop the smudge! Back to gel/liquid liners for me.

Decent, But Not Great
I was looking for a new cleanser to try, something that's simple yet effective. I picked this up at the recommendation of the Clinique lady at the local Nordies, and I honestly don't know if I like it. Yes, it's creamy and rich, and it does make my face feel nice and clean, which is to be expected from mid-high end brand. Perhaps it's the scent that bothers me. It smells really soapy. Or perhaps it's just too thick for my liking. But it does do its it just doesn't hit my sweet spot.

My legs refuse to tan. No matter how much time I spend in the sun, no matter how dark my upper body becomes, my leg remains blindingly white. It's been like that for years, and I've tried to accept it, but, it's just too hard. Especially when my upper body is so tanned! I remember Kristen from Beauty Addict singing praises for this product, so I tried it out. Why did I choose this? I wanted something EASY to use, as I'm a self-tanner virgin. I don't want to deal with orange palms and streaky legs, and I didn't want to get all my clothes and towels stained. According to her reviews, this product should avoid all that. Guess what? It really does! It was so easy to apply, pretty much like I was applying regular ol' moisturizer. AND the color that I got was so pretty!!! AND the tiny gold subtle shimmers made my legs look so pretty. It's almost like I've been in the sun for hours!! It was so pretty, I applied it on my shoulders to get my color more golden looking.

Naturaly Beauty - Yes Please!
I have a girl crush on Carmindy, so when I learned she has her own line of make up out, I was ecstatic. She gives the most beautiful make overs on TLC's What Not To Wear, and all the products from this Natural Beauty line really reflects her beauty philosophy. The Sheerest Cream blush gives you a beautiful pinch of color on your cheeks. I just dab a little with my third finger, and draw circles on my cheeks with it. THe result is a natural glow that seems to come from within, almost like you had a great night's rest. It blends like a dream, and the staying power is great. I seem to have it still on even after my work out! Although, I might just be red from the work out. =P Beaming is a bit light for me, especially now that I'm a bit tanner in the summer. Bloom, the next shade darker, suits me perfectly.

Best Foundation for Oily/Combo Skin
I've bought and tried my share of foundations, but this is still my favorite. It provides a wonderful matte finish that looks very natural. I don't get the streakiness I've experienced with some other oil-free foundations such as L'oreal's True Match and even Laura Mercier's oil-free foundation. Unlike powder or mineral foundations, it doesn't oxidize and turn your face into an ugly orange color 10 minutes after you leave the house. What's also great is the color selection! They actually have options for us gals with yellow undertones. And seriously, the coverage is great, yet the feel of it is so lightweight. Everyone compliments me on my skin when I wear this foundation. They think it's so clear and smooth, but they so don't see all the redness and old blemish scars hidden underneath. I barely need any concealer when I use it, that's how good the coverage is. So ladies, what are you waiting for? IF you are in Hawaii, I suggest going to Nordstroms to look for Hollie. She was my gal when she was in LA, and she's great at matching your skintone to the perfect shade.
