Here are all my reviews:
  • Redken Shine Balance Glass 01 Smoothing Serum

This has been one of my favorite products for years. Every once in a while I would try another shine enhancer and always end up pitching it and returning to Glass. The only problem I have with it is that it can be a bit heavy for fine hair like mine. But used very sparingly, it does the job better than all other serums. I've since discovered Aquage Beyond Shine which works better and is misted on for better control but it's a given that if I'm ever in a bind, this will always be a go-to product.

  • L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist

Wow... it saddens me to see the negative reviews here. The reviewers who say this came out streaky canNOT have followed the directions... ie, the "hold at arm's length" part - or maybe the "do not rub in" part. Because this product gives a perfect "spray and go" result if you just hold the bottle out a bit, spray, and then leave it alone. This is the most idiot-proof, natural-looking self-tanner I've ever tried. The bottle sprays at any angle and never gets clogged. It does have that DHA self-tanner smell to it, so I'm sure to use it when I won't be going out for a few hours. I used it every day for about a week until I got the deeper color that I wanted and now just twice a week to maintain it. There's nothing orange-y about it on me - maybe I'm just lucky that it works with my skin-tone? I LOVE this stuff!

  • Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo

    Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo

    Dries out my scalp

This is the single most drying shampoo I've ever used! Within a week of using this in combination with the rosemary mint conditioner, my scalp was so dry and itchy I could hardly stand it. A few years later, I somehow forgot that experience and bought them again... with the exact same result. I gave them to my son to use and it only took about three days for him to get the "dry itchies". They do smell divine, but they were a total loss in our household.

  • Aveda Rosemary Mint Conditioner

The rosemary mint shampoo/conditioner combo have proven to be the worst combo I ever tired. Within days of using them, my scalp was unbearably dry and itchy. I attribute that to the shampoo (?), but the conditioner did little or nothing to add softness or shine to my hair, either, so it may have been drying me out as well. In fact, my hair looked duller and I swear it got more brittle. I gave the set to my son, but he also got dry and itchy in a matter of days so we threw this stuff out. What a shame. It smells great!

  • Aveda Shampure Conditioner
    8.0

    Aveda Shampure Conditioner

    Good conditioner

When my daughter turned six, I started taking her to my Aveda salon. Up to that point, I was still using the typical drugstore baby shampoos and no conditioner on her. The stylist pointed out that her flyaway hair was probably dry and I should try Shampure shampoo and conditioner. What a difference! Her hair, which had always been fine and flyaway and which I always chalked up to "baby hair" texture, was suddenly soft and manageable. And it even seems to be growing in thicker after about 6 months of using this! I love the smell of Shampure, but my 6-year old is not a big fan. She is a fan of her prettier hair, though, so she's getting used to the smell. :) My son, however, who has very normal hair, gets "the greasies" with prolonged use of Shampure conditioner, so I think it is best suited to drier hair types.

  • Aveda Control Force Firm Hold Hair Spray

I really like this hairspray and I make sure I always have a bottle on hand for days when I need firm control. The pros: sprays on dry, is never sticky, holds really well for a long time. The cons: it holds so well that it gives hair that unnatural "moves-as-a-unit" look. Still, if you have any need to truly anchor your 'do, this is the way to go. It's never gunky, doesn't build up and washes out easily. I like it!

  • L'Oreal Paris RevitaLift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Night Cream

I usually stick with Olay for my skin care regimen, but gave this a try not long ago and I really love it. The texture is very thick and creamy, so I'm shocked every night at how well it absorbs! NO greasy residue, no moisturizer left just "sitting" on my face. My skin stays soft and still feels great in the morning. I'm almost done with this first jar and will probably buy it again when this runs out. Not sure about the whole "lifting" promise... I don't notice any visible lift with this cream, but then I've always been skeptical that any product can really do much in that department. Gravity is gravity.

  • Olay Pore Minimizing Cleanser + Scrub

I really wanted to love this scrub, but it was too gritty and harsh for my semi-sensitive skin. While it didn't inflame me right away, I immediately noticed that my moisturizer stung when I applied it right after using this cleanser. I switched cleanser and poof! No more stinging. Too bad... I like the dispenser and it seemed to cleanse well. But St. Ives Apricot Scrub does just as well for less money and with no stinging!

  • Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo
    10.0

    Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo

    A must-have for busy mornings

I honestly don't know how I lived without this stuff. I works beautifully, smells wonderful and gives my hair a fresh start on days when I'm too busy to shampoo or want to give my hair a break to keep it from drying out. I absolutely love this stuff. The spray works well too, but this one is still the best.

  • Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Moisture Balance Conditioner

I bought this because my hair tends to be very dry as a rule and I had read good things about this product. Unfortunately, it did nothing at all... my hair was not hydrated at all and remained as dry as ever. So I gave it to my son who has normal hair and the opposite problem surfaced... it gave him the greasies. So it doesn't work well enough for very dry hair and works too well for normal hair. If you have just mild dryness, this may be the perfect product.
