I am a mascara addict; that being said, the moment I saw this commercial I went to my local WalMart the next day to buy it. Of course, it does not take a brain surgeon to know that eyelashes are altered in mascara ads, but I was convinced that the Revlon PhotoReady line worked so well, since the other products on the line have worked so well for me. I have to say this mascara is my baby. You can tell a mascara is going to work just by looking at the brush, and this brush has so many little bristles you KNOW it will hit all of your lashes. The mascara product itself is fluffy, light, and it doesn't clump even after 5 or 6 passes. My lashes are naturally curly, but they are very light so you can't really tell I have lovely lashes unless I put mascara on and BOY this mascara sure defines my lashes! With just the right technique and application, this mascara gives you length, definition, and volume with just a couple passes. The price is also something that made me fall in love with it even more! I was literally so disappointed with drugstore mascaras that have been coming out that promise one thing and deliver another that I was going to splurge on a $50 brand name mascara with a good reputation, but now that I have found this magic in a tube, there is no need! I recommend this ESPECIALLY to you who have blonde tipped lashes like myself, this mascara will sure make your eyes pop the way they should!

It's OK considering it was on sale.
I bought this mascara and I was in love with the bottle design. I'm a sucker for cute looking things and this was one of them. The brush looked weird and I was skeptical but I bought it anyway. The mascara really darkened my lashes and I kind of liked that. It defined it and I really liked that. Flirty lashes are those that are curled, defined, and lengthy. Yes, this mascara made my lashes lengthy but the brush did not allow my lashes to be uber defined or curled. The consistency of the mascara was sort of too watery for my taste, since I like mascara that is mousse-like. Overall, I got it for $3 so it was ok. The brush doesn't work that well and the mascara product is just odd. Would I buy it again? No.

Curls with the right kind of technique.
Ladies, as we all know not every product will work for everyone, and this is definitely one of those products. I personally like this product; key word LIKE. My lashes are naturally curly, so I was hoping this mascara would plump them up and they did but not as much as it is advertised it would. What I do is I hold the mascara brush and bend my lashes upwards, starting from my top lash line. I hold it there for 10 seconds and slowly progress to the tips of my lashes, stopping for 10 seconds (while bending) at six stations of my lashes. I do this about 3 times and it works. That being said, do the math and I spend about 6 minutes using this mascara to try to curl them. This technique might not work for all ESPECIALLY those with straight lashes, so for you guys just skip this mascara and invest in a great lash curler. For those who have been blessed with curvy lashes, take your time and you will see a difference with the application. Overall, the mascara product is nice, light, and fluffy and the brush is great too. The brush might not work for everyone because it has three stand out parts that hit the lashes with the most mascara product but it is about evening them out and technique. It is a nice mascara, the price is exceptional, overall I like it.

EcoTools Bamboo Powder Brush
To be honest with you, I like spending good money on brushes that actually work. My experience with makeup brushes has been a hit and miss one, so when I bought this one I was sort of skeptical about how it would work. It is safe to say that I LOVE this brush! Not only is this brush eco-concious which is always a plus in my book, the cost is not a splurge and it actually works! The bristles are soft and it makes your skin look so smooth. The hair has not fallen off even after I wash the brush. I used to not like wearing powder because it left me looking too caked on, but this brush levels out the powder on my face and it looks very natural. Sometimes brushes this good and at this affordable price come along and people may think, "Oh it is $8 so it must be horrible quality", but on the contrary this brush is a delight.
