  • Revlon Nail Enamel

I have this in a pink. It's extremely thin- I have to paint at least 3 coats for it to be semi-opaque. I don't really like the finish of it either. Overall, save your money and go buy another brand of polish.

  • Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial PocketBac Sanitizing Hand Gel

I love Bath and Body Works' hand santizers. They're usually 5 for $5, which means you can get a bunch of different scents. I like to match my scents to the season (I don't know if that's just me being weird or if that's normal, but whatever, haha), so I get one for each season. I really like the clean smelling ones though, they make my hands feel...well, clean. The scent is pretty strong and actually lingers for awhile. The hand gels are in small bottles, so they're very portable. I keep one in my backpack and one in my purse. They're super cute and great smelling and not overly expensive either. I really like them.

  • Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette

I bought the rollerball at Sephora a few weeks ago, and I really love this scent. You would think that it's a floral scent, because of it's name, but I actually think it's more citrusy and fresh. I have a sensitive sense of smell (as does my mom), and we both agreed that this smelled good and not too chemically. It's a light daytime scent, perfect for young women. I like how fresh and nonoverpowering it is. For 20 dollars, you get a decently sized rollerball. I compared it to my Taylor Swift Wonderstruck one ($18) and the Daisy one is significantly bigger for only 2 dollars more. Roller balls are good because they're easier to carry around, and I think allow more control as well, as to how much scent you are putting onto your skin. It lasts for awhile, though not as long as some perfumes. I have smelled this on other people, and was semi-worried that I would smell the same, but as most perfumes should, it morphs as it melds with your own personal scent throughout the day, making it uniquely your own. Maybe some people can still tell what fragrance/perfume you are wearing, since Daisy is a pretty popular scent, but it's not overdone (I think). Overall, it's a good perfume. I like it a lot. It's not headache inducing at all.

  • Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

This product does have parabens, which aren't good for your skin, but that's commonly found in a bunch of other products, so whether you want that is up to you. I bought this at Costco as a two-pack, which makes it a pretty good deal for a pretty good price. The bottles are huge and have lasted me forever. Although it's not portable at all, I can transfer it to a much smaller travel-size bottle to take on trips, friends' house, etc. I started using this only because I was (am) using dermatologist prescribed products for acne and I needed a gentle cleanser. I didn't want to over-strip my face. I wasn't supposed to use anything with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. I wasn't too pleased with this cleanser at first, because it felt like I wasn't truly washing my face. It didn't give that "clean" feeling. It was gentle, as claimed, though, and didn't strip my skin of any oils. I do miss the good-smelling and cute cleansers I used to use, as this one is extremely boring. But it doesn't break me out, though I don't think it actually helps clear acne. But hey, that's what the other products are for. This cleanser can actually remove nonwaterproof mascara as well, which is a plus. It's gentle enough to use around my super sensitive eye area too. My dermatologist agreed with my use of Cetaphil, since it doesn't react with any of the products I'm using. I looked it up online, and it seems like other people have said the same thing. It's meant to gently cleanse your face in preparation for the topical medication you put on later.

  • Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss Body Lotion

I bought this during the 3 for $10 promotion that Bath and Body Works has quite often, and I love it. It smells sweet but also a little bit sultry? It's moisturizing as well.

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Travel-Size Body Lotion

I love these travel sized lotions. They're super portable, and they're often for sale for 3 for $10, so buy a bunch! When new scents come out, they're usually only a dollar for the "travel sized" (but this is actually a little bit smaller than normal, I think? I'm not quite sure, but it seems like it). I put one in my purse and one in my backpack for school, and also in a bunch of other places. It's also a good way to try different scents to see if you like them. Like TheLacqueredLady mentions in the previous review, they're excellent for travel as they meet the TSA requirements. The bpttles themselves are really cute as well (along with most of Bath and Body Works' stuff, haha). As for the moisturizing aspect of it, I sometimes feel like it's not as moisturizing as a normal drugstore lotion, due to it's fragrance, but after exfoliating my hands with the True Blue Spa scrub and applying this lotion, it made my hands super soft.

  • Softlips Lip Protectant/Sunscreen SPF 20

I like the slim shape. It's less bulky and more feminine. As for the actual lip balm (I had the raspberry one), it was pretty good. Decently moisturizing. It has the highest spf I've seen on a lip balm so far- spf 20. I liked the smell/flavor as well. I took off a couple of stars because I had to reapply very often.

  • Chapstick True Shimmer
    4.0

    Chapstick True Shimmer

    don't really like it

It wasn't very moisturizing, and I didn't like the shimmer at all. When it was time to reapply, I could just see random shimmer on dry lips, and it was gross-looking...

  • Blistex Fruit Smoothies
    1.0

    Blistex Fruit Smoothies

    Not moisturzing

They were waxy and not moisturizing at all. I actually think that they made my lips drier...It wasn't creamy and while it didn't smell bad, I didn't really like the smell (any of the 3) all that much either. Glad I got this on sale because it's basically useless...

  • Q-tips Cotton Swabs
    10.0

    Q-tips Cotton Swabs

    great for everything

They have so many purposes. I have a huge box of them laying around. I use them to remove smudges, smudge eyeliner, remove eye makeup and nail polish, and so many other things (not all of them beauty related either). It's true that they're more expensive than store brands, like TBjunkie mentioned, but it's worth it because they're better quality and softer.
