This is one of the higher quality synthetic brushes but it still doesn't deposit much color. It takes a long time and a lot of layering to get the intense color I need on the upper eyelids. I also only used two out of the three brushes and have no use for the cute tin. I like the pink color and travel size handles but it's too expensive for what you get. Cruelty free but disappointing it's made in China - should definitely be a cheaper price.

Good Hydration But Too Pricey
The whipped texture is so light and smooth. It absorbs right away - no sticky or greasy residue. The hydration is just right for normal to dry skin. This is not a heavy duty moisturizer. I don't care for the candy like scent but it disappears a few minutes after application. It's a vegan product.

Best Mascara I've Used
This really volumizes, thickens lashes and darkens them. I can put on three coats and there's zero clumping. It doesn't lengthen as much as it volumizes but the lengthening is not bad. It also did not smudge all day. No curling effect on my straight lashes. This mascara is also vegan and cruelty free. Made in Italy.

Full size product does not work like the sample
Update: I originally reviewed this 3 weeks ago based on a sample I received from a MAC associate. The sample was prepared from the tester bottle on the display. 2 weeks later I purchased the full size product from MAC inside Macy's and have been using it once or twice a day for a week. The purchased product was nothing like the sample! It didn't tone down redness which was what I was most excited about and is not even hydrating. Felt like it did nothing for my skin. Very disappointed. Will be returning it. As a side note, this happened before with MAC's Zoom Lash mascara. The sample worked really well, very high quality. When I purchased the full size it was a complete dud and returned it. I now know to not trust MAC samples because apparently work better than what they actually sell. Original review: Made a difference in my skin the time I used it. I got a sample from MAC and tried it for the first time this morning. About six hours later I looked in the mirror and the redness I've been having on parts of my face was significantly reduced. My complexion looked more even-toned and dewy/luminous. Will be buying the full size. I was initially interested in this toner because of all the good ingredients - rare in a toner. Since this is a softening lotion it's also hydrating. Also supposed to minimize discoloration. There's Vitamin C & E, three different types of algae, various plant extracts, caffeine, arginine, tourmaline, silk poweder, minerals, and salicylic acid.

Since Ulta will be giving this as a birthday gift this year I decided to test drive it. I did the voluminous brush for one eye and the defining and lengthening for the other eye. On my straight Asian lashes I prefer the voluminous brush. Both brushes quickly gave my lashes an intense black with just a few strokes. Although both sets of lashes were clumpy the lengthening side was more clumpy. I do like the formula as it does not flake or smudge. It dried and adhered to the lashes really well. I'm hoping I won't have clumping when I get my new one.

Perfect moisturizer for normal/combination skin
I received 2 sample tubes of this and have only used it for a few days. According to Clarins, it takes 4 weeks to see firming results and I doubt my samples would last that long. I really like the lightness of this lotion. It provides just the right amount of hydration and becomes one with my skin. It is very smooth going on and no sticky or greasy residue. I only need a small amount for my whole face. I can use this around my eyes and my skin does not burn so I know this lotion is gentle. Most products with avobenzone will burn and sting, especially around the eye area. I don't rely on its spf15 for sun protection, but use a separate sunscreen with a higher spf over this. It is pricey at eighty-two dollars for one point seven ounces, but if I can get it at a discounted price it is worth having.

Not sure if this is doing anything for my skin
This might be breaking me out but I'm not exactly sure. It does make my skin very oily when I spray it on at night, don't use any moisturizer, and the next morning I have very oily skin. My skin right now is normal combination. The scent is very herbal. I don't really feel it hydrates my skin. The spray does not come out in a fine mist but kinda large droplets so I don't feel it goes on my face evenly.

After trying many brands of eyeshadows, Nars are my favorite. Besides color selection there's different textures from matte, satin, shimmery and glittery. And although the compact is tiny I love the convenience of having a mirror, The eyeshadows are very smooth and pigmented and easy to apply.

Gets the job done
It's okay because it takes several wipes to get all the eye makeup off. It's not overly oily and once done my skin feels clean and hydrated. Would not purchase again because I find Lancome Bi-facil more efficient.
