Even though the cartridges are expensive, they last a long time. I still get a good shave even after the moisture strips are no longer moisturizing. It's also nice Venus handles are interchangeable with Venus cartridges so if you can't afford the Embrace cartridges all the time you can resort to cheaper ones like the original Venus.

This turned my dark brown hair into a very deep brown black, it looked black. The reddish tone of dyed hair was very minimal. Even though this is permanent color it faded completely after 8+ weeks. This also did not thicken my hair like most other hair dyes. Great product & value at around $3.00 a box.

Although smooth and easy to apply, this smudges right away and I don't have oily skin. I tried this in black, pewter and silver and they all smudge.

I like the lemony scent and it's a very abrasive scrub which I like but a few minutes after washing this off my skin was red and blotchy all over, even my less sensitive T-zone areas were blotchy. My skin was also dry and flaky and took a few days to recover. You only need a small amount to get an effective scrub but fortunately it did not work for me since it's so expensive!

The color is really reflective. Not sticky & hydrating. But not as long lasting as I would like. But for the beautiful effect & color (I have Jersey Pink) I still give it top rating.

I separate each piece of cotton in half to get more uses out of them. I use these to apply toner and they feel soft, smooth and do not shed. At this price Shiseido needs to make the bag resealable.

Just dab the brush all over your face to deposit the sunblock powder. No need to blend like you do with powder makeup. It does not affect your makeup nor leave you with sticky fingers from creamy sunblocks. Whether or not it actually deposits enough sunblock for adequate spf protection is difficult to determine. I only use this to reapply throughout the day. I always use a liquid sunblock in the morning. Even though you get a very small amount of product, it does seem to last a while.

A small amount, one and a half pea size, will cover the whole face. Goes on smooth, light and creamy, not thick, greasy nor sticky. Its description also states anti aging effects but I haven't used it long enough to see any results. This is a very hydrating moisturizer.

This is supposed to be medium brown but it's a dark brown with subtle reddish or bronze tint, depending on the lighting. Great base color if you like dark hair but not harsh black. Usually dark brown hair dye has too much red tones and it's not dark enough. The base color is just perfect. As for the highlights it did not turn out blondish as shown on the box. More like auburn but I didn't use it on virgin hair; my hair had been dyed with permanent and semi-permanent for several months so that may have affected the turn out. I would definitely buy this again just for the base color. There was more than enough dye for my long straight hair, 1/3rd down my back. Definitely test out the color first on a small section to see the results before coloring your whole head of hair, especially the highlights, to avoid unfavorable outcomes.

I tried this for the first time in Cafe Noir/Black. The "results swatch" as well as the model's hair is lighter (dark brown) than the name, so it's not accurate. My hair literally came out black. After the first shampoo there were brown highlights. Very natural looking. I've only used this a few days ago so will update later how well it holds up to the 28 shampoos. I'm shampooing every other day and conditioning every day. Only con is the formula is thin/runny so difficult to saturate all my hair, I missed a spot on the side. I have long hair (1/3rd down my back) and there was just enough dye. The color came out fantastic (instructions for Cafe Noir states you need to leave on for 15 minutes, not 10 min.) I will try the Espresso/Darkest Brown next. Can't wait to try out the other colors. Update September 2011: I first wrote the above review in April 2011. The Cafe Noir/Black did not hold up to the 28 shampoos. It started to fade fairly quickly. I would say I enjoyed the color the first two weeks. After that it was too light for my liking. It fades gradually. I also tried the Espresso/Darkest Brown shade but would not use again; it was dark but had too much of a reddish tint to it. It came out more of a reddish dark brown. It's a good way to test out colors but if there's a shade you like you would have to dye every 2-3 weeks to maintain it so it's high maintenance. I'm lowering my original rating of 9 down to a 7.
