Not the best for sensitive eyes

This mascara really provides great length and volume with minimal clumping, but it's not very good for sensitive eyes. It's got a heavy synthetic floral scent to it and that kind of irritates my eyes as I am putting it on. And forget it if your eyes water even the TINIEST bit, it will burn without running until your eyes begin tearing and then the tears will make the mascara run. It's good enough that I am willing to try it in a waterproof formula, though.

Milani Nail Lacquer

Great nail polish

This polish really pleasantly surprised me! It's affordable, has awesome color payoff (at least the colors I bought), and really seems to last better than other drugstore brands. It didn't chip at all for about a week, not even the tips of my nails! The consistency of the nail polish makes it really easy to apply and I have had no problems with streaking or dragging. It's not a "quick dry" formula but it doesn't take forever to dry, either, plus you don't need to apply more than two coats. I can get away with one coat for the creme colors! I really look forward to Milani adding more colors in the future.

Nice scent, broke me out

Normally I respond really, REALLY well to products containing glycolic acid. I was really eager to try this and hopefully keep my back clear from breakouts. Even though this product smells WONDERFUL, there is some ingredient that really irritated my skin and caused me to have really horrible breakouts. It might have been the fragrance, I'm not sure, but I was really disappointed because I'd read wonderful things and it's one of the only body washes I've been able to find with glycolic acid. Maybe the scrub works better.

40 Carrots Carrot and Mango Moisture Splurge

Moisturizing, non-shiny and great!

I have very oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin which usually gets irritated or turns into a shiny mess only a few hours into the day. I've been through tons of different moisturizers that have all either clogged my pores or just turned me incredibly shiny. I saw 40 Carrots on sale at a discount store and decided to pick it up. I was really pleasantly surprised to find out that it not only moisturized deeply, but it also remained fairly matte, even though it does contain oil! On top of that, when I woke up in the morning the milia on my cheeks (those rough little bumps) had diminished. I've been using it for about a month without any breakouts or sensitivity problems. It's the best moisturizer so far.

TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray

Works great, wish it didn't bother my skin

This product worked wonderfully at leaving my thick, wavy and often frizzy hair smooth and soft after straightening with my flat iron. My only issue with it is that it caused me to break out where my hair touches my skin (neck, shoulders, jawline) which doesn't usually happen. Not recommended for those of you with sensitive skin!
