Really Good Basic Cleanser
This left my face feeling really fresh and clean, and I personally didn't feel any film or anything left on my face, and it can leave my dry to combination skin a little tight, but I just follow with one of their oil-free moisturizers and it solves that problem. It's a great product for the price (about 5 bucks at my local Walmart.) I don't think it's probably the best thing ever for extremely dry or oily skin, but normal or combination skin would probably just do fine.

This stuff has a good scent which was important to me, and it worked pretty well for me for a day or two. Then my underarm skin started peeling as if I had just gotten a sunburn. And I experienced a bit of stinging. I've been warily using it on occasion since then, but I mainly switched to another product and don't see myself repurchasing this once it's gone.

This is OK in a pinch, and I happen to be in one, because my usual deodorant vanished somewhere in the house, so for now I'm glad I had a stick of this laying around. However, I am annoyed that the Unscented version is in fact scented. I can read ingredients, Dove, and Masking Fragrance (Parfum) is a scent, and an annoyingly strong one at that. If i wanted to smell like Baby powder/lotion, like every other Dove product, I would go buy some. It's not the best, it's not the worst. It'll do for now.

Having just run out of the Optic White I had been using, I felt like my teeth were kind of scummy and weak. I figured it might be that I was using a whitening toothpaste, which can be kind of harsh on your teeth, so I started looking for natural toothpastes...something without SLS and Fluoride and not geared toward whitening as I had just read how those tend to be extra abrasive and I'm not trying to destroy layers of enamel I don't have to and recede my gum line just for some momentary whiteness. And I wanted to see if there was anything in a flavor other than mint. Because I've always secretly hated mint toothpaste, but never really opted for the kids flavors, because they were just as obnoxious. Needless to say it was a pretty tall order, and after driving all over town looking for anything fluoride and SLS free, and feeling fed up, I hit up my trusty neighborhood health food store, since I had been up early and they were now open. I walked in and there was a wall of natural toothpastes, most of which were fluoride and SLS free, and I was giddy when I saw this one. Nature's Gate has been around a long time, and I am pretty trusting of this brand, and even though I am an extreme skeptic sometimes when reading ingredients I found nothing that caused an issue for me, so I got it. Many people claim this has SLS in it, but it doesn't. It says so. It has the milder, more natural option of Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (same initials, but not the dreaded Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulfate). It contains some wonderful natural cleaning agents, and having just tried it for the first time, I am very impressed. It really is creamy, it actually lathers well, but its a very natural sort of lather probably caused by the anise oil or Sodium Lauryl Sarcosinate; there is a definite difference between this lather and the SLS lather of my former toothpastes. Although my teeth aren't bright shocking white suddenly, they do look much cleaner and therefore a couple shades lighter, and my mouth isn't dry, and it feels as though I just came back from a dental cleaning where they happened to use the amazing flavor of anise. It's a nice alternative to mint that is an adult-friendly flavor, and if you hate the idea, they have plenty of mint flavors offered as well. I feel like I have fresh breath and a really clean mouth without any burning or stinging or discomfort. This "antioxidental blend" has earned a permanent place in my bathroom, and is perfect for me, so definitely give it a try if you're open to trying something new, natural, and wonderful.

I think this is a fabulous nail polish. IF you use a good base coat, and IF you can wait more than 30 seconds for it to dry. I had no issues with mine drying, and I was able to apply several coats with no goop/glitter problems except on one nail where I really messed up by accidentally depositing way to much on one corner. After a shift in retail, I notice very minimal chipping at the tips of my nails, but no more than one would experience with any other nail polish. Especially since I haven't applied a top coat at all yet. It dries matte, but will look fine with a shiny top coat if you want the nails to look shiny and glittery. I honestly kind of like the color matte, so I guess that's why I've been holding off on the topcoat, and just to get an idea of how much it would wear. Overall, I adore this color, and this is the first glitter polish I have been this satisfied with. I haven't taken it off yet, but I am fully prepared for an excruciatingly annoying experience like I've had with all glitters, plus this is a red, so I'm expecting removal to be doubly messy. However, if I find this polish comes off with less hassle than other glitters and reds, I think I may have stumbled upon something brilliant...

I have this in Purple Gleam. It applies like a dream, and the color is exactly as shown. It also seems to wear well as I have no chipping or flaking so far and this mani/pedi has already seen some tough obstacles. I am uncertain yet about the ease of removal, but I have high hopes for that since everything else about this polish performs.

Good...but not good enough
This product is one that I did not stick with, mainly because I never used it up. I just threw it out once it got all gross and the smell changed (much too quickly for the price). The pros are an amazing range of flavors/colors/smells, and that minty tingle. I am somewhat a fan of the whole minty tingly feeling, but not too much of it. And I can't stand too much stickiness. This product was just as sticky as any other lip gloss I had ever tried, and my hair would always fly into it and smear it across my face at some point within the first five minutes of wear, which would gross me out and send me into a momentary seething rage. This is why I absolutely despise most lip glosses. One similar to this that I have absolutely fallen in love with is the VS Beauty Rush Soothing Lip Balm. I know it says it is a balm, but it is really more of the perfect hybrid between balm and gloss, with the sheerest color imaginable. If THAT product's consistency (it glides on, and never gets sticky or gunky), adequate minty tingle (not too overpowering), and long lasting shiny goodness (mmm, yes) combined with the range of colors, scents, flavors, etc that THIS product has, everyone's lips would be in a state of permanent ecstasy...and we'd all live glossily ever after. The End.

I can't wear blush that often because most blush shades make me either look dirty or like a clown. I read/heard a lot about these online and went on an epic search all across town. One CVS finally carried Milani, and I had been dying to try the baked one, and got that in Luminoso (the only color they had), but this in Sweet Rose. This color really looks like my natural blush, except prettier because it isn't as ruddy and all over the place. It goes so well with my skin and I look alive with it on. I must give kudos to Milani for making the first blushes I've ever actually liked, and they are less than half the price of the high end stuff I could never justify buying.

I was really scared Luminoso would be bright orange on me, but I was dying to try a Milani Baked Blush, and that was the only color in my town, so I got it. It can actually be used very sheer and has just a touch of shimmer. i don't usually wear blush and will often opt for other types of make-up because most shades just aren't wearable with much else on. I have this on, over the Sweet Rose mineral blush, with some foundation/powder, mascara, and lip balm/gloss and it looks amazing. Milani is awesome.

This quad looks amazing with my blue eyes, and it was very pigmented. I didn't even use a primer. All I know is it applied like a dream, and looks absolutely gorgeous. I may try one of the other quads to see if I can get the same kind of color payoff, but at a later date. I am sold for now on this one. It's a bit of a loud look, but can probably be passable if I wear very neutral makeup otherwise. My boyfriend wasn't paying attention at first, but then he turned to me and said, whoa, your eyes look blue. Thanks again Maybelline! :)
