  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Foam Wash

I've never had issues with acne until I started taking a medication that constantly made me break out. The stress from the breakouts would make my skin even worse, so I figured, what a perfect product for me. And boy was I right. At $7 or $8 a bottle, I feel like I'm getting treatment from a dermatologist. Not only has it virtually wiped my face clean of any pimple, blemish, or slight bump, it gives my skin a clean feeling without drying it out. My skin is naturally oily but I still find some acne-fighting products to be too harsh on my sensitive skin. Not this! It's gentle yet insanely effective. This product works 10 times better than I could have even expected. I only took off 1 star because toward the bottom of the bottle, it seems that the pump gets clogged and it can be difficult to get the remain 1/5 or so out. But at this price, I can afford to just go get a new one!

  • Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler
    10.0

    Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

Wroth the money & the buzz!

Ever since I started wearing makeup 10 years ago, I realized I was seriously lacking in the eyelash area. Ever since I've been on a mission to find the right mascara (finally did this year!), but also the product that would effectively curl my short, stick straight lashes. I've always used an eyelash curler but never a great one. I thought there were pretty much all the same. None of them did that much and the small amount of curl I would get just disappeared almost immediately. After hearing the rave reviews about the Shu Uemura lash curler, I got curious. At first I couldn't see myself spending $20 on this product, but as with the other classics out there, there's a reason people talk about them like crazy. When I finally got it home a few weeks ago, I realized it was everything I ever thought it could be! Before even adding mascara, my lashes look longer, fuller, and thicker. Then add mascara and voila! Absolute eyelash perfection. I'm hooked for good.

  • Givenchy Phenomen' Eyes

OH...MY...GOSH! I have finally found my HG mascara! For years I've looked for the perfect lengthening, volumizing, separating, va-va-voom mascara. It has been especially difficult for me because I have the shortest, teeniest tiniest lashes you'll ever see (or not see, actually!) I thought DiorShow was the greatest out there, but the brush is just too big for my tiny lashes. But Phenomen'eyes cannot be beat. It's surprisingly easy to get used to and to use. Honestly, I'm shocked every time I apply it. I feel like I'm applying false lashes without all the mess. Thank goodness for Phenomen'eyes!

  • hairdo by Jessica Simpson 23 Inch HairDo Synthetic Wavy by Jessica Simpson Hair Extensions

I never thought I'd try fake hair, but when my mom bought this for me, I couldn't say no. The piece is so easy to put on, to style, and the best part is that the different shades available are so authentic. My hair is brown with tons of blonde, but natural-looking highlights. Who knew there would be a perfect shade for me?! I'm 100% happy with this product and so thankful my mom gave me the nudge to try it!

  • DuWop Lip Venom

    DuWop Lip Venom

    Tingly and shiny!

I'm very happy with my bottom, fuller lip, but I had been looking for something to plump up my top lip for quite some time. I think I've finally found the right stuff! Not only does Lip Venom cause a tingly, somewhat "stinging" feeling (not to worry, it doesn't actually hurt), the shine makes this product irresistible. An added bonus is that the packaging may look small but for as much as I use it, it lasts and lasts. My only gripe is that it doesn't stay on incredibly long--but it does hold up better than many other glosses/plumpers I've tried. All in all, I say...go get some!

Searching for that perfect scent all your life?

You've found it! I prefer the oil bottle, but it doesn't make a difference how you how you get it--just get it! Its light, clean, fresh scent will get you compliments, and people asking, "Where did you get that" all day! Truly a keeper

  • Clinique Almost Powder Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15

I normally never wear Clinique because I've heard such awful things about it--mainly that anything of theirs you put on your face would break you out. On the other hand, I know a fair amount of women who use it, so I felt a little torn. So when I received a sample of Almost Powder in a magazine, I tried it out. I was in heaven. Coincidentally the sample was my perfect shade (how often does that happen, really?!) I dug through that little cardboard sample like I was digging for gold--and I was. I managed to scrape off every last bit of that makeup. So I went out and purchased a compact asap and fell even more in love. The makeup is so smooth, not messy, and goes on flawlessly. My only gripe is--having such fair skin that it's red in some areas--the powder is very light (which is a good thing!) but sometimes a bit too light for those annoying redder areas. And I would go a darker shade but it matches the res of my complexion perfectly. Come to think of it, I've NEVER found a foundation that matched my skin so well other than Prescriptives. Another thing I love about this makeup is that you can "dress it up" or down. Meaning you can use just one swipe all over your face for the most natural look, for a few more if you're going out or want to fancy it up!

  • Nivea Creme
    10.0

    Nivea Creme

Good enough for her? Good enough for me!

I read somewhere that Marilyn Monroe used Nivea creme and being the crazed fan, I decided to try it, and see why she loved it so much. And immediately I knew. It's soft, smooth, creamy, rich, but not greasy and doesn't get everywhere. It has the slightest fresh, clean scent that is subtle, not overwhelming. At such a reasonable price, too, it's hard to stray from this product. I've been using it for 4 years now and I don't see myself going back to anything else.

    Benefit High Beam

    Brightens you up

I love the brightening effect that High Beam has on my face. No matter where I apply it, it looks shimmery and light. My favorite spot to apply it is above my eyebrows because it opens up my face.
