I love the endless color options this brand provides! O. P. I. is definitely worth the price because it lasts such a long time on your nails even without a base or top coat. The polish itself is a great consistency that is very easy to work with.

I really like this polish because the finish is really nice, the colors are very true to the bottle even with just one coat, & it's super cheap. The polish will last several days without chipping even without base and top coats & about a week and a half with.

When i saw these on sale, I decided to pick up a few shades to see how nicely they work. I own four shades, two are darker, one is a mid-tone, & one that is a sheer pink. The polishes are quite nice & the color on your nail is very true to the bottle. For the lighter colors, I can get away with just one coat; the darker colors can look nice with just a coat also if you apply it carefully. If you do decide to apply two coats, be mindful of how much product goes on your nails. I could easily tell which of my nails had too much product once they dried because they had lots of tiny air bubbles. The polish have a very nice shine even without a top coat but I recommend using a good base and top coat with this product otherwise it can chip easily. Without a base or top coat I get about 3-4 days of wear compared to a little over a week with. The darker colors doesn't cause any staining on my nails either. I would buy more if they are on sale.

NeXXus Pro·Mend Split End Binding Overnight Treatment Creme

Good

This works pretty well but it doesn't mend 92% of split ends as the company claims. You can't really "mend" or "heal" split ends; if you want them off you need to chop them off. It does work well to smooth hair out a bit the next day without feeling too heavy or weighing hair down. It smells pretty if you like vanilla quite a bit. It gets an eight because you can use L'Oreal's sulfate free nightly leave-in & get as good results for less.

This blush doesn't work on anyone. I thought it didn't have an impact on my because I'm a medium- dark tone but it didn't show up on my friend with a fair skin tone either. It's really hard to get product on a brush in the first place, but you might as well swipe a clean brush over your face to get the same effect. The only reason this gets a 3 star rating is for the organic packaging and even then, it has problems with being flimsy & falling apart.

This hairspray works decently. I wouldn't use this when I needed long lasting hold but it does a pretty good job at taming fly-aways.

MAC Fluidline

Long-lasting

If you need long-wear, look no further! I love MAC liners because they are so long-lasting and you aren't going to end the night a smudgey eyed mess. They are kind of like Stila's Smudgepots except that you get a much larger color range with MAC. These are super smooth & easy to apply. The pots also last a long time so it's worth every penny!

Hate the Brush

I really like the color selections & the formulas. The colors are very true & you only need one coat to get the color on the bottle on your nails. My one gripe is with the brush. It's very large & grabs a ton of polish even if you wipe the brush first. I have to be very careful to make sure that polish doesn't get onto my skin and make a big mess.

This was such a huge disappointment. The formula inside is super runny & gets everywhere. The first time I tried it, a ton of product gushed out & ruined my polish work. Subsequent uses were cleaner but far from neat. The color isn't opaque enough & if you try to darken the color by retracing lines, the applicator wipes off the first line. It takes far too long to dry and if you mess up, it stains your polish. I also tried to use it over a clear base coat & it stained my nails. It's not at all convenient. If you love designing your nails then I suggest using the Konad stamping system instead.

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear

The colors are pretty but I find that the formula is a bit too thick for my liking. Since it's so thick, you can apply one coat of true color but it takes a long time to dry & is prone to chip & peel since it's so thick. I also find that it gets thicker & clumpier fairly quickly so you'll need to use up a bottle quickly or throw a lot of product out.
