Believe the hype
I am a research fiend and have been on the hunt for the ultimate primer. I have a slightly oily t zone and normal, sensitive cheeks, large pores (thanks Mom) and uneven texture due to natural aging (i'm 50). Over the years I have used Nars, Laura Mercier, Benefit, Loreal, Clinique..... you name it..... I have shied away from the "popular" primers (smashbox, etc)..... I know they get raves but I found them slimey, greasy or heavy. I read the Arbonne reviews here.... included the allegations that the reviews had been "padded" by Arbonne insiders..... Something told me to take a chance anyway..... LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! It dispenses like its going to be silicone heavy (ala Smashbox), but glides on and smoothes out to a lovely finish..... not quite powdery..... but drier than silky..... just smooooooth. It gives my skin an awesome diffused look..... not overly chalky like some pore minimizers..... just... almost airbrushed. Bonus, it lasted all day long. To be clear - I dont sell Arbonne, or know anyone who sells Arbonne. I had to purchase this online direct from the company. This primer ROCKS.

I was WAY skeptical about a powder concealer. First tried the Bare Minerals line at age 44. Was intrigued, but refused to buy the concealer. PS - its great. Doesnt cake, dry you out, settle into lines - nothing. Provides natural, consistent coverage. I'm hooked.

Simple and perfect
For DECADES I used the Mario Badescu skin care line - this was before the internet and before they were carried retail. The products worked but were hard to get and were costly. I discovered Cetaphil when my now 12 yr old son developed infant excema. One day I just tried it on a lark. Its perfect. Doesnt dry. Doesnt make you greasy. Its simple and CHEAP.

This is an excellent treatment for hair that is brittle. It leaves hair amazingly soft, with being greasy or weighed down. Sometimes I even sleep with it in (put a towel over your pillow) and rinse it out in the morning. Its also great for putting in your hair before heading to the beach.

This is a nice add-on to your haircare regime. I wouldnt rely on it as my only deep conditioning product - its not strong enough. And the packaging/cost makes it impractical as a daily conditioner. But its nice occasionally as a "boost". Plus it smells yummy.

Read alot about this product. Plus I am a Redken devotee. But this one didnt work for me; left my hair kind of stiff and dry-ish. Maybe it provides the protection it promises, but you have to comprimise the feel of your hair.

Best non-pencil liner I have ever used. Stays put; the color stays strong and true. Easy to remove. Tip: I apply it to my lash line with a stiff-bristled eyebrow brush.

The Total Package
This review is really for the entire Bare Minerals Foundation system. I bought it all as a kit. The foundations are great and very easy to get a hang of, as is the concealer, skin brightener (well-rested) and finishing powder. Youyr skin appears as close to flawless as its going to get - like its been airbrushed, soft-focus-y, etc. Believe the hype. PS: Get the baby buki brush, its great for under eyes area, as is the concealer brush. AM I getting a commsion here??

...if you want light, natural hold. It isn't that drying, stiff, crunchy type of hairspray. The hold is soft and natural. Its perfect for a little control if you want to maintain movement and touchability.

I have been using Kinerase for about 2 years now. I definetly see a difference in the effects of aging on my skin. It also doesnt make my breakout prone skin erupt or irritate my sensitive skin. The texture melts nicely into the skin. I switch to the lotion formula in summer and use the SPF formula during the day.
