    love this

i LOVE this lip scrub! i get dry lips all year round and have never found a lip scrub that worked as well as this one. it's weird at first so sugary the way it kind of flakes off but i use it over the sink or in the shower and i was so happily shocked how amazing my lips looked and felt after and one little tub lasts so long bc you only have to use a little at a time. plus this smell is amazing, if you like rock star soap, or snow fairy shower gel youll love this! • Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid

This is the absolute best product there is to smooth out the frizzies, and add some shine. It will last forever. One or two drops in the palm of your hand is all you need

  • Joico Silk Result Sheer Gloss

This didn't seem to do much for me. Just a plain old serum for a large price. It didn't seem to do a very good job of smoothing. Aveda's Light Elements Smoothing Fluid or Fantasia Hair Polisher Daily Treatment With "Sparkle Lites" are much better.

  • Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener

Just a couple of pumps of this fluid on the hair adds great shine and a very light feeling to my hair. It's not oily nor does it build up, its safe enough to use a pump or two every day with no problems. Works well on coarse or relaxed hair.

  • Joico K-PAK Revitaluxe Bio Advanced Restorative Treatment

I love this rapair treatment. It does exactly what it claims, it rapairs and strengthens damaged hair, lacking protein. This along with weekly Virgin Coconut oil masks, have transformed my damaged, weak, dry, dull, thin(due to damage) brittle, flat hair, into full, bouncy, shiny, soft, smooth, healthy looking, beautiful hair. However, this is for hair suffering from protein loss which is usually the case for hair that is chemicaly treated, or damaged by chemicals or exesive use of heat. If your hair does not have a protein loss problem, this may not be for you, as ironicaly too much protein will have the same effect as too little protein. It will result in lots of hair breakage. So take that into consideration. Lack of elasticity is a sign of protein loss, so if your hair has lost elasticity, this product is for you. If in the other hand, your hair is just dry, and therefor breaking and frizzing up, you need a moisturizing conditioner instead. Try Alter Ego Carota, if your hair is greasy. Or Alter ego Energizing and rebalancing conditioner if it is normal or dry. Or Alter Ego coconut conditioner, if moisture without oiliness is what your looking for. You won't regret it. They are nothing short of amazing. I alternate between the Joico and the alter ego. Once a week I use the Joico and once a week the Alter ego, as I wash my 3b curly, frizzy hair type every 3 days. I use the Joico to strengthen and repair, since I heat style my hair (I blow dry and flat iron twice a week) and the Alter ego I used because It makes my hair amazingly shiny like glass, soft, smooth, bouncy and beautiful. I really love it. So take all this into consideration when buying this product. And do yourself a favor, and buy a bottle of Nutiva or Garden of life coconut oil, regardless of what kind of hair you have. You'll be amazed at what it does with regular use. Heals, repairs, beautifies, and makes hair grow like crazy. Ah! and please, use sulfate free shampoo. It makes all the difference in the world. I use Lamas Beauty because they lather super good. But it is expensive. So try Now foods or the ones at Puritan Pride. They are cheaper and have good reviews. Hope this helps.

  • Arbonne FC5 Nourishing Daily Shampoo

This is the best shampoo ever. Your hair is clean and silky. When I run out of Arbonne shampoo Yes I panic. Oh I noticed how much my hair will grow after using this product. I don't want to use other shampoos that has all that toxic chemicals in it. Love it!! Love it!!

  • Frederic Fekkai Protein Rx Reparative Shampoo

I love this shampoo! I have been using it for four months and my hair has been changed since! I have very thin/fine hair and wash and blow dry everyday because it gets dirty if I skip washes. For years I have been using L'oreal/Pantene/Vo5 and for years I have been unhappy with my hair. I decided to invest in a more expensive brand because after a decade of having really short hair, I have decided to grow my hair out.. and there was no way I was going to have a long mane of dry limp and thin hair. If I'm growing my hair out.. I'm going to do this right! I had always assumed that it was the conditioner that you use that was most important for hair and so because of the price of Fekkai I invested in just the Protein Rx conditioner and used it with my usual L'oreal shampoo. The results were.. no different and I started to regret spending £18 on a bottle of disappointment! But two weeks later I read in ELLE magazine that it was actually shampoo that is worth investing in, so I went out and got the Protein Rx shampoo. The results were instantaneous! I get a hair cut every three months because I usually get split ends a month after.. but since using this, my last hair cut was four months ago and there has not been a single sign of a split end.. This shampoo has made my hair stronger which actually makes my thin head of hair look thicker, bouncier and shinier! Well, it doesn't make my hair as shiny as I want it to (i.e heavily edited shiny hair adverts HAH) but there is always serum for that.

A very good shampoo, my hairdresser recommended it. You don't have to wash hair every day.

  • Redken Extreme Anti-Snap

I picked this up at Ulta because my stylist used it on me it left my hair extremely soft. She suggested I try it because it is a good protein treatment that is lightweight, which is important for me because my hair easily is weighed down. I bought the smallest bottle which was $4. I rarely buy full size bottles now days unless I am sure this is something I will use long term. I have had the travel size for months now and there is still a ton left. I use this 1-2x a week. It is a protein treatment so I wouldn't use this everyday. My hair is not damaged but it was breaking of very easily probably from heat styling it. I have seen and felt an improvement in my hair after using this for a few months. My hair doesn't break the way it used to and is not falling out as much as it was before. I have received many comments about how long my hair is growing and I do think this product has helped it grow nicely. This product does have a bit of a medicine smell to me, but it is faint. I love how lightweight this is-it never weighs my hair down and it never looks greasy when I use this. This makes my hair feel healthy and soft and the condition of my hair has improved since using. I have already repurchased back ups!

  • Biolage Hydratherapie Ultra-Hydrating Balm

i have extremely dry, insanely thick irish hair, and this is the ONLY conditioner i've ever found that makes it happy. it moisturizes without making my hair big or puffy (unlike most dry hair conditioners i've tried), smells great, and the container, while expensive, lasts a long time. honestly, i'd go on longer if i could think of more ways to say how great this product is. you probably won't like this if you don't have super-thick hair, but then there are a million other conditioners for you, anyway. if your hair is anywhere near as dry, thick and difficult as mine, though, i don't think you can find a better product.
