Negligible on my virgin Asian hair
I hadn't colored my hair for three years so I guess it qualifies as virgin hair. I'd had good results with Feria Chocolate Cherry, but forgot the color shows up best under bright sunlight. I tried Midnight Ruby this time, and only if you stare at my head in full bright sunlight can you even see a hint of red - otherwise, my hair looks exactly the same. :(

Gorgeous package, so-so results
This goes on sticky (but not as thick-sticky as other products) and it feels like my lips stay sticky even after the color has worn off. I like that it doesn't dry out my lips like other long-wearing formulae. I bought a ruby red and a sparkly tan-brown. The latter does not have enough pigment to color my lips (I'm Asian.) The color of the red in the mirrored container is gorgeous though.

Detangles like a DREAM
I couldn't believe it when I used this bar for the first time - the lather detangled my hair as I was washing it! NO other product I've tried has ever done that - and it works on my daughters' snarls too. I don't even have to rub the bar itself onto my hair: I just swish the bar between my hands, put the bar back on the soap rack UNDER the tin Lush gives you (so the tin is like a bus shelter for the bar), and use the residue on my fingers to wash my hair. If I could give this product 20 stars, I could.

Great detangler for me
I have thick curly/wavy hair that takes me forever to wash, and sometimes I can't get it completely detangled. When I get out of the shower I work this product through my hair, especially near the ends, and it helps my hair slip out of its tangles. Usually I put the product in, then wrap my hair in a microfiber turban, but I had to go talk to the plumber one day and just let my hair air-dry and was pleasantly surprised by how the product calmed my curls. Also, I see it listed for $18.98 - I think I got mine for $12.
