    St. Ives Soothing Oatmeal Shea

    Thick, but Absorbs Quickly

This stuff works wonders during long Wisconsin winters, soothing dry and itchy skin. Its thicker than most lotions, but absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy feeling. Really lives up to its claim to deliver immediate moisture, plus it is animal friendly!

  • Alba Pineapple Quench Lip Balm

This stuff is great! The scent is delicious. It moisturizes very well, and it lasts a long time. It absorbs quickly into the lips and keeps them soft all day. Its a little on the expensive side for a lip balm, but its well worth it!

  • Softlips Lip Protectant/Sunscreen SPF 20

This is great as a maintenance lip balm and as a sunscreen, but it is not that great for lips that are already damaged (chapped or burned). Used daily your lips will be noticeably softer and smoother. Plus the scent is yummy!

  • Nivea A Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care

This stuff does have a nice light smell, and I suppose it does moisturize your lips, but it feels like it just sits on top and never absorbs. Some people may like this, but I cant stand that waxy, slippery feeling hanging around for too long.

  • Suave Professionals Radiant Brunette Shampoo

This product does not do what it claims. Trying to save money, I thought I would give this inexpensive shampoo/conditioner duo a try. Not only did it not live up to its claim, but it left my hair straw-like, dull, and smelling unappealing. Its one of the few products that I've actually thrown away.

  • Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

Pros: nice and light, great for sensitive skin. relieves even the driest patches, and its a great way to ensure that you are applying sunscreen daily. great for wearing under makeup. Cons: slight medicinal smell, but it doesn't linger

  • Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser

I searched for years to find a cleanser that was gentle enough for my sensitive skin, yet was able to balance oil and fend off breakouts. This cleanser has it all! Leaves skin feeling clean, but not stripped of necessary moisture. My skin never feels dry and taut, and it relieves occasional redness from harsh weather. And best of all, it has eliminated my severe breakouts!

  • Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes - Hydrating

These towelettes are quick and easy, make-up comes off in a cinch. Great for cleansing your whole face when you want to fall into bed, and they can easily be cut onto smaller pieces when you just want to remove eye make-up to conserve money.

  • Garnier Fructis Style Surf Hair Texture Paste

I have had this product for a few years and I use it every once in a while for a different look. It works well with short, texturized haircuts, but it is best applied to the ends of dry hair. With long hair, it tends to weigh it down, so it is best applied to the ends of very layered hair. The achieved look is cute and piecey, but not so "beachy."
