I've been using this product for a few years now and still love the versatility of it. I own 4 different palettes and can always find an occasion for each one. My favorite one for everyday is Not-So-Nudes because I can easily add a shadow to it to play up what I'm wearing that day. I love the fact that it's fingertip application, too, because this gives me more control with applying and blending. The colors blend beautifully, and I find that they last throughout the day with no problem or creasing. Definitely recommend this product!

Not colossal at all
I was eager to try this mascara because I have typical straight, short Asian eyelashes that point downward. I was impressed by the size of the brush, but my expectations fell terribly short when I applied the mascara. Not only was there no noticeable enhancement in volume (if anything, my lashes looked separated but not lush at all), but there was also a very strange odor. The lengthening power was pitifully lacking, as well. I also noticed that this mascara flakes throughout the day and even into the next day! Awful! I've been using L'Oreal's Voluminous Naturale, and I plan to stick with that. This mascara is definitely NOT effective, and the name only describes the utter waste of money that it truly is.

I bought this for my boyfriend to help his skin when it breaks out in hives, and it seems to work well for him. I used it myself when I had a bug bite, and the menthol immediately made the itchiness subside. I like the way the lotion cools your skin, but I don't really like the faintly medicinal scent (I'm assuming it's due to the menthol). It moisturizes well, too.

Not ultimately clear
While this deodorant feels good going on, it does have a tendency to rub onto your clothes unless you put on your clothes in a certain way. I've devised a way to avoid this from happening (doesn't always work, though): put your head through first, then put your arms through one at a time. Shouldn't have to worry about it doing that, though, since the product promises to not leave white streaks. That's its only flaw. I do like the scents as they're not too strong, and it does a pretty fair job at keeping me dry. I'm sure there are other more effective deodorants out there, but I'm happy with Dove at the moment.

I bought this for my very first Brazilian wax and made sure I applied it correctly after reading the reviews and advice from other Web sites. Honestly, I don't believe this cream made a difference. Then again, I didn't feel like the procedure caused me much pain in the first place, plus the technician wiped it all off before she waxed me. I haven't used it since because it seems that I have a rather high tolerance threshold for pain, and I'd prefer not to deal with the mess. I'm planning to give it to my friend who's considering getting a Brazilian but is still too scared about the pain. Maybe it will work for her or at least give her a mental confidence boost.

Stick with Crest Whitestrips
I agree with other reviewers in that Listerine Whitening strips do not dissolve quickly or completely, even after you brush your teeth. The most frustrating aspect of this product, though, is the amount of waste--sometimes it takes two or three strips before I can successfully apply a strip to my bottom teeth. It will stick to my lips or not even stick to my teeth. Very annoying! Also, when you rip open the package, you have to make sure to tear it completely open so that the strip won't stick to it and rip (I've done that several times). Crest Whitestrips are by far superior, more dependable, and much easier to use, and I plan to switch back to them.

Pretty good results
The first thing I noticed about this product was its delicious citrus-y smell--very light and refreshing! While it did make my fingers sticky (as expected), I found it relatively easy to manipulate to my desired style. Whenever I go to the salon for a haircut/style, my stylist usually likes to add texture-enhancing product to my hair. I liked the fact that I could recreate her styling job myself with this product. My boyfriend really liked the results, as well, but he prefers the whipped creme product. I would use this one just to change things up a bit, but not too regularly since I am not that into using styling products, as I mentioned in my review for the creme.

I was rather skeptical when I received my Sebastian Professional Whipped Creme because I am a very natural girl who doesn't like using styling products except for Aveda Smooth Infusion Style Prep Smoother. This product is definitely threatening to change my mind! As other reviewers have mentioned, the product comes out looking exactly like whipped creme (I was really hungry when I tried this, too, so I was very tuned in to this fact!), and the smell was quite refreshing and light. Once I worked it through my damp hair, I appreciated the subtle shape and bounce the creme imparted to my hair, and my boyfriend immediately complimented me and told me that I should use it regularly from now on. I let it air dry and noticed that my hair felt fuller and softer, as well as had more movement. I definitely recommend this product, especially for those ladies who don't particularly like using styling products (like me). Thank you for sending me a full size, Total Beauty!!

Very unique fragrance
I received a sample of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Parisienne perfume to review, and while I am not usually much into floral/woodsy fragrances, I must say I am quite impressed with this one. The immediate signature I noted was the blackberry essence, which was refreshing yet relaxing; then I noticed the subtle woodsy/earthy notes, which contribute a full-bodied warmth to the scent; and lastly, I could pick out the Vetiver--quite distinct and exotic combined with the sandalwood notes. The fragrance continues to evolve and change gradually, which is quite interesting--it never smells the same twice when you sniff your wrist or the sample card that accompanies the spray bottle. A bit musky but very sensual and ultra feminine, I believe I have found my new favorite fall and winter fragrance!

Perhaps too gentle
I was excited to try these makeup remover pads on my short vacation--they are ideal for taking in your carry-on since they aren't a liquid. I recently had LASIK surgery, too, so I liked that the pads were soft and the remover gentle. However, I found that the formula was too gentle for how lightly I had to use the pad on my eyelids. (You can't rub your eyes for two months after your surgery.) I have not tried the pads since my vacation, but I will try to rub harder once my two-month restriction is over and see whether they are more effective then. The pads did remove most of my makeup, but I still felt like my makeup wasn't thoroughly removed. At any rate, I recommend this product for travel, but be prepared to rub pretty hard to fully remove all your makeup.
