    Slatkin & Co.Scented Candle

Bath & Body Works Slatkin & Co. Candles

These candles are okay. I am a HUGE candle connoisseur, in fact, I even have two cabinets full of candles and home fragrance. Friends say I am addicted; so what? I am a happy addict. :) However, to compare to another brand (Yankee) that is easily available, I actually prefer Yankee. For one, you get more for your money. I o...nly buy Slatkins at the BBW outlet or when they are on sale. The Slatkins are smaller for the price compared to the Yankees. Plus, you can't beat it at Bed Bath and Beyond with the coupons and the Yankee candle of the month. Two, the Yankee scents are consistent throughout the entire burning experience. The Slatkins are scented with oil. When they are lit for too long (more than 3 hours or so - and yes, I am guilty of this!), the oil burns before the wax does. You end up with inches of wax left and no scent. Ick. Overall, I just don't think they are the "World's Geatest" - and this is coming from a candle snob. However, Vanilla Shortbread is my absolute favorite scent! I would sacrifice my first born for this candle. Well, when I have a first born. ;)

  • Bath & Body Works Slatkin & Co. Wallflowers Fragrance Bulbs

The only thing redeemable I can say about this product is that it comes in oodles and oodles of fragrances, and they are pretty true to what they are trying to be. I used to work at BBW and would stock up every Christmas season for the rest of the year. Yum! However, what I quickly noticed with this product, is that it woul...d last for a good 2-3 weeks, and after that, I never smelled it. I thought maybe it was because I was "used" to the smell, so then I would switch the fragrances and same thing. I purchased a gift set of these for a friend. He invited me for dinner, and an hour in, I realized he had his Wallflower in. We were sitting right NEXT to it and I couldn't smell it. He said he put it in that day. I also don't like how the fragrance levels cannot be adjusted. It's too expensive for a product I am tossing out every 2 weeks. For a fragrance snob, I actually prefer Glade. I can turn up the fragrance, It lasts for 4-6 weeks consistently and there are coupons for it. The scent is not as true, but it sure is a lot less wasteful and most importantly, I CAN SMELL IT.

Avon MOISTURE THERAPY Intensive Healing & Repair Hand Cream

Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive Treatment Hand Cream - Extra Dry Skin

I hope I am reviewing the same product! The picture looks slightly different from what I currently have. Anywho, I don't often purchase Avon products. This was given to me as a a gift. However, I was very surprised at how sticky this lotion is. I just reviewed Suave Body Lotion and commented on the same thing - sticky, sticky, sticky! Guess it doesn't matter if it is Avon or a bargain brand; some lotions are just sticky and this is one of them. For that fact, I wouldn't purchase or suggest to others. There are other lotions and creams that are better. In addition, there is a claim on the back that the moisture lasts for 8 hours. I am not so sure about that either.

    Suave Body Lotion

    Suave Advanced Therapy Body Lotion

This is not a bad bargain lotion, but I have found that some lotions (bargain or otherwise) can feel very sticky, and this is one of them. It also takes time for it to really absorb in the skin. This is not my first go to lotion, but I will finish the bottle but won't be re-purchasing. There are much better alternatives out there; probably even better Suave lotions.

  • Palmers Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Cream for Stretch Marks

This is just THE best moisturizer! It runs about as much as the Body Cream at Bath and Body Works (Palmer's is about half the size and just under $6) but I think it actually works better. When I wake up in the morning, I touch the areas and they are so soft and creamy smooth. As far as the stretch marks, I am doubtful. I did buy for some stretch marks I have in odd areas (shoulders and inside of elbow), but it has been proven time and time again that these are "scars" and cannot really disappear from this type of product. We will see! I thought I'd give it a shot and move my way up the dollar chain if not. Hoping not to have to spend a ton on laser treatments! If it works for me, I will come back and edit my review.

  • Ulta Nail Lacquer

    Ulta Nail Lacquer

    Disappointed

I shop at Ulta often and have the rewads card. I received a coupon in the mail for a free Ulta nail polish. I picked Downtown Diva, which is a dark plum. Unfortunately, two days later, the color was "feathering" and chipping at the tips. Previously, I had purchased NYC in Plum Pizazz and the colors are very similar; however, I also had chipping with the NYC, but Ulta's polish is $7.50 compared to less than a dollar for NYC. This was really unexpected (considering how pricey it is) and diappointing, and I am just glad it was free. I put a base coat on and two top coats and this shouldn't have happened.

  • Victoria's Secret PRO Voluptuous FX Mascara

I just bought this mascara yesterday, after reading the reviews, and I really love it! It DOES look like I have false eyelashes on! So cool. It really makes my lashes super long. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10, is I wish it was more volumizing (I think I can solve that problem by wiggling the wand up as I apply) and it only comes in one color - black; I wish it had a Carbon Black or Extreme Black. Definately recommend! You have to try. Plus, it is VS which made me feel ultra sexy.

  • Milani Eyes Glitter Retracdtable Eye Liner

I was looking for a purple eyeliner to really bring out my brown eyes and I found one! This is such a fun eyeliner. It is super easy to apply, has a smudge tip at the end and just the right amount of "sparkle" - which, by the way, did not end up all over my face! Big plus. It is a reasonable price (around $3-$4) and made me feel fun and sexy. It even made my eyes sparkle, without being too obvious of the glitter. Highly recommended! Have fun.

  • Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream
    9.0

Bath & Body Works Triple Moisture Body Cream

    Fantastic! In moderation....

I do LOVE this body cream!! However, I find that the fragrance is too strong if applied all over. I do use it all over at night, before I go to bed, but during the day I use a softer fragranced cream and this on my hands only. It's a bit stinky when overpowering. Great cream - wish I could use allllll over alllllll the time!

  • Bath & Body Works True Blue Spa Toe the Line Smoothing Foot Scrub

I bought this awhile back and it was a great scrub for the feet. It smells nice (minty, if I remember) and leaves my feet soft and ready for Shea It Isn't So! However, I only buy it when it is on sale or if I have a coupon. Works really well, but a little pricey.
