  • Borghese Fango Delicato Active Mud for Delicate Dry Skin

I read an article once that suggested using a brush to apply a masque to your chest, neck, shoulder and back area for an all over spa type body treatment. I use a large foundation brush to apply and it's the best treatment I do for myself. It's fresh and clean and it makes my skin look much younger than my 43 years. Also keeps any breakouts at bay. I have very sensitive and fair skin and this has never irritated or dried out my skin. Great for your face too. I LOVE this mud. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth every cent. ** Just a note: I found my last jar at TJ Maxx for $10. That was a bargain.

  • Evian Mineral Water Spray

    Evian Mineral Water Spray

    My favorite beauty product ever!!!!

This is basically a can of spray mist water. Yep..that's all...but the possibilities are endless. Works wonderfully to set your makeup. If my makeup goes on too heavy, I give it a mist and pat gently and it's just right. Also...if you chill it, it's perfect in the summer for a cool down and the best thing for hot flashes ever!!! If you buy the small 3 pack, it's reasonable and allowed on airplanes by the FAA as an acceptable carryon item. It's perfect for refreshing after a skin drying flight. If my hair is frizzy, I use it to mist lightly then comb to tame. This is basically a perfect product in every way.

  • Maybelline New York Expert Eyes Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover

This is a tricky product. It will probably get in your eyes so if you wear contacts, I'd avoid it. I don't put it on a cotton ball like is recommended though. Here's what you'll need. A clean washcloth, warm water, and some Q-tips. I dip 2 Q-Tips in the bottle (1 for each eye) and run water over the dry end of the Q-Tip swab. I use the remover side to lightly massage the product over my lash and eyeliner area to loosen the waterproof armor like eye makeup that I like to wear. Once I've got the remover worked in, I work it around the rest of the eyes. Then, I take the water dipped swap and go over it to get some of the gunk off. At this point...do NOT open your eyes as you will be coated in this oily mess...but the makeup will be loosened. Now is when I usually take a warm and very wet washcloth to rinse off the rest of the residue. What I like about this product is that when I get it in my eyes..which I do...it doesn't burn or irritate. It does however leave a film on your actual eye that takes a few minutes to clear. If I found another waterproof eye makeup remover that worked as well, I'd probably switch since this is such a slimy mess...but so far...this is most effective. (I use a fresh washcloth each time I remove my makeup. I buy a cheap stack of white ones and they can be bleached with ease)

  • Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Bar Soaps

Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Bar Soaps

Trusted over the years for my delicate skin

This is a soap that I have used strictly for my face each time I shower for over 20 years. I have very sensitive and fair skin and this has never been drying or caused any reaction. It's an all natural soap and although it's not the best of scents, it's certainly the gentlest and best of soaps. I'm often complimented on how young my skin looks for 43 years of age. I credit it mostly to this part of my skin care routine. It's much easier to find nowadays and comes in a variety of blends. I stick to the strictly Olive Oil, but have tried a couple of the others. This is by far probably one of my most trusted and reliable faves. This doesn't leave a film like some face cleansers do and rinses away clean. (It can get soft in the constant water of a shower, so best to put it up on a rack of some sort)

  • Mary Kay Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel

This is a pretty good treatment for troublesome breakouts. I'm entering menopause so my hormonal skin can be a mess during my monthly phase. This works as a pre-treatment better than most other products and once you get a pimple, this does a decent job of drying it up. I have very sensitive skin and have not had a bad reaction to this at all when most of the other acne medications have caused one. It's not a miracle product, but it's pretty close. It's also a pretty decent sized tube so it lasts a long time.

  • Maybelline New York True Illusion Undetectable Concealer
    10.0

Maybelline New York True Illusion Undetectable Concealer

    Fantastic product, fantastic price!

This is a wonderful concealer and all purpose cover up. I use it with a brush to get into tiny pores or to cover any breakouts (so not to contaminate the wand). It seems to last all day too and there's quite a bit of product in the tube so it lasts quite awhile also. I'll usually dab the wand onto a stick of Maybelline Express Makeup Shine Control and then use a brush to apply the mixture of both. Brings out the best in both products. This also doesn't settle into tiny lines or look chalky once the day goes on...so all around, it's really one of the better concealers out there. Another nice thing is that because it's in a sealed tube and not a stick, you can leave it in the car and not have to worry about it melting.

  • Too Faced Baked Eyeshadow

    Too Faced Baked Eyeshadow

    Fantastic swirls of color!!

It's highly pigmented, blends easily, crease resistant, darkly luminescent using either brushes or applicators. Absolutely the best shadow and my new favorite collection! I've collected 4 of the colors now and I just love this product. I generally wear my eye colors pretty dark, even with my fair skin. The colors are intensely pigmented and a bit shimmery. There is a bit of fallout when using a brush, but it cleans up easily too. This is a hard product to buy on line since you really need to pick out the one that has the color swirls you specifically prefer...but it's well worth it. (think of the soft iridescence of a peacock feather..this is what it looks like when you wipe your finger over the shadow) The container itself is rather large and there's quite a bit of product in it. I've not had problems with creasing, but I use UDPP and that stops most creasing and it lasts from about 5am until about 9pm when I take it off. This also works well with a damp applicator for a liner. Super Nova (Black with peach and pink swirls), Moon Beam (Black with laser light green), Magenta Moon (dark brown with bright magenta), Cocoa Comet (dark brown with blue and peach)
