Gwyneth Paltrow Preachin' to the People: Modeling's 'a Perfect Job for When You Have Kids'

I thought I'd give this a go, as it seems to have very good reviews. The pigment is a deep black, but the brush is terrible! Maybe I just had a "dud", but I found the bristles would NOT taper to a fine point, so the line was never fine. (Even after wiping the pigment on the rim). In depair, I got a razor blade and trimmed the hairs, but it's only a bit better. The problem is that the bristles are too flimsy. Ideally, brushes should be made out of sable, but this is costly. So the search for the perfect liner continues.....

I don't think this exact type of eyeliner is available in my country. However, I bought a very similar one today, and it's fantastic! To my delight, the applicator is a BRUSH! HOORAY! Felt tips can never get the accuracy that brushes do. That's a fact. Pigment colour is deep and opaque. Fantastic price, too! My only suggestion for the good folks at Rimmel is to give a few more bristles in the brush, as the current brush doesn't seem to "hold" enough pigment to line each eye in one go.

Lovely product! I've been looking for a compact foundation and this is it! I find liquids don't seem to have staying power. THIS, however, ticks all the right boxes. It is easy to apply, never chalky, creates a lovely matte effect, no fragrance, brilliant packaging (the sponge never contacts the product, and you get a mirror to boot!) AND in a convenient, impossible to spill format. I used to use a liquid, then apply loose powder to "set" it. With this, I have happily ditched my loose powder, as it is no longer needed, and now am saving money to boot! Only one teeny drawback. Not quite enough shades available. Luckily I got a good match for my skintone.

Hooray! An eyeliner with a BRUSH applicator! Those felt tip ones are totally useless for getting a precise line. The shop I bought this from only stocked black, but it's the colour I usually buy. The black isn't a true jet black - rather a very dark grey, but I find that's more flattering anyway. You'll need to 'wipe' the brush on the edge of the tube, to remove excess product, but so far there has been no clumping, and the brush quality is excellent!

The base colour feels a lot "softer" and less drying than other products I've tried. And it's a nice creative twist to have the top coat an actual colour - not the usual boring clear gloss. Most of the top coats are pearly, which gives the illusion of fuller lips. Top coat also has a pleasant fruity scent. This lasted through a (greasy) lunch, lots of cups of tea and up to dinnertime! Outstanding. Will certainly buy this product again.

OK. Here's the skinny. I have naturally long and dark lashes, but each lash width is very fine. I used this twice a day over three months. Result? Absolutely nothing!! No increase in length or thickness whatsoever. The only thing it DID do, was reduce lashes falling out, so I am left with my "full contingent" of lashes, which nobody has noticed! It has a very strange smell, too. In addition, the customer service is non-existant. I've sent two emails to the sales rep I bought this from. Surprise, surprise. No reply. I'd love my money back (it cost me $125 AUD!) but it looks as though that ain't gonna happen.

Although pricey, you get what you pay for. I've got the one with sparkly black as one of the colours, and it has very quickly replaced my black eyeliner, as it's so dense and long lasting (as well as creating a softer line.) Only one problem...the applicators are fine for covering larger areas of lid, but if you want to use the colours as an eyeliner, you'll need an applicator with a finer point.

The picture shown is of the "old" packaging, which was far better! There's new packaging for this product, and although you get a much bigger puff, the holes (on that plastic barrier) are SO TINY! It is impossible to get brush bristles down to pick up the powder, so I have to turn the pack upside down, and really WACK out the powder onto my palm, then pick it up with a brush. The powder itself is superb, and really has that light diffusing effect, but please, please revert to the old packaging!

The dark brown shade goes on really well, and is amazingly waterproof. I even use this shade as an eyebrow "pencil", by drawing fine "hairs" to fill those sparse areas. For some reason, the black isn't as good. The tip always seems dry and I can't get an opaque line on my eyelids. Both are brand new!

Excellent coverage. Very reasonable price. Lovely natural shades that aren't brassy, AND you get all those extra goodies, such as the gloves, conditioner and pre-colour treatment! HOT TIP: I only use this for covering grey roots, so, instead of using the whole package, I mix about one third of this (to the correct ratio) in a smaller container, so there is no waste, and one pack lasts about THREE months!
