Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin

Minimalist moisturizer which does its job wonderfully.

Since I started using this, my skin has been clearer and smoother. It gives my dry skin a beautiful dewy look. The gel-like moisturizer absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't sting or leave a greasy film like I have known other moisturizers to do. It's even gentle enough to use right around the eyes. I have never had such a light and clean feeling moisturizer, nor such good results. I used to use this around the clock, but now I use the SPF 15 version in the day for some extra protection and this at night.

  • Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

I got a set of four of these and not only are the colors beautiful, they're so easy to use and they look great. They're really smooth so application is easy, and it stays all day. You can smudge it up a bit when you apply it as well. The dark and bright colors available are really dramatic, but you can create a natural look with these too. I wear a taupe color with a little shimmer called "Underground" every day on my upper and lower lash line. It makes my eyes really pretty and makes my lashes seem a bit thicker without looking eyeliner-y. For its staying power, washing it off isn't as difficult as I thought it would be, I use Cetaphil and it washes away without too much trouble. All in all, fantastic stuff! Even if you aren't a big eyeliner wearer, you may really like it (try Underground) and if you are, you'll have a lot of fun.

    Clinique Superbalanced Makeup

Very oily after a few hours of wear

I thought this foundation would be perfect for my skin, which is combination but usually pretty dry. It looked beautiful when the salesgirl put it on, so I got it. Which was against my better judgment, because I knew I should waited a few hours to see how it would wear. After a few days of using it I noticed that my face was really oily when I got home from school and the foundation came off on my hand when I touched my face. Even the parts of my face that would normally be dry even at the end of the day were oily. Unfortunately, I bought it at Dillards, so I couldn't return it. I'll save this for winter when my skin is dryer and it isn't so hot outside, but I probably won't buy it again. If your skin is even moderately oily, stay clear of this, especially if you live in a place as hot as Arizona or in a humid place.

  • Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion

I have tried this alone and with the rest of this line and it does nothing for my acne, despite the stinging it causes. Several minutes after using this, my skin is very dry and papery feeling. It's so dry that it starts to flake off, even though I use moisturizer shortly afterward. I think that it might have also contributed to the state my skin is in at the moment. The day after I began using this with the foaming cleanser (ditched the moisturizer after two uses, it made my face fall off in sticky flakes), I broke out terribly around my mouth, cheeks, and jaw line. I have never gotten acne there before, I normally only get it on my chin and forehead. At first I thought it may have been caused by the stress and lack of sleep from that week, but that still leaves me with only two possible conclusions: the breakout was caused by Acne Solutions, OR Acne Solutions failed to control, calm, and cure the breakout. After two weeks, I still have most of the same blemishes and plenty of new ones that pop up every day. All I can say is that I'm sorry I had enough faith in this product line to use it for two weeks and I will never buy it again or recommend it to anyone. This product was a waste of good cotton balls.

  • Clinique Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam

I have tried this alone and with the rest of this line and it does absolutely nothing besides make my face feel like sticky paper, which is coincidentally also what it smells like. Well, it smells like paper at least. I'm not sure how sticky paper smells. That's the only thing I'm sure of. However, I think that it might have also contributed to the state my skin is in at the moment, but I'm not sure if it's this or the Clarifying Lotion that did it. The day after I began using this with the Clarifying Lotion, I broke out terribly around my mouth, cheeks, and jaw line. All I can say is that I'm sorry I had enough faith in this product line to use it for two weeks and I will never buy it again or recommend it to anyone, especially for this price.

  • Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer Oil Free

I tried this moisturizer alone and the effect it had on my skin was something like that of a hair dryer on shrinkwrap. If that wasn't bad enough, my skin began to peel off with the moisturizer just minutes later. I don't know how this managed to make my skin feel so many horrible things at once: suffocation, drying, burning, AND stickiness. I tried it again, this time following the Cleansing Foam and Clarifying Lotion. It was even worse because steps 1 and 2 already dried my skin to oblivion before I put this on. Will not buy again and do not recommend.

  • TIGI Bed Head Small Talk

I have very fine, limp hair with not much swing or bounce. I worry about products that target roots because my light hair can look greasy. A bit of this stuff really gives my hair a lift and nice movement, and it's very easy to use. I'm no hair expert but I can work with this stuff well. Just work it in to damp roots and pull it back through. Sometimes when I'm lazy, I don't even blow dry and it still improves the look of my hair! Will buy again and again!

  • Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Scrub

As a 16 year old, I can't say much about the anti-wrinkle aspect of this scrub, but it has improved the texture and clarity of this skin. The consistency is much like a cream cleanser, and my dry skin drinks it up. There's a good amount of beads which scrub gently at the skin. This gives my face a clean, smooth feeling and it doesn't feel too harsh. Hopefully using an anti-wrinkle product now will pay off in the future for me!

  • Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15

    Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15

Great daytime moisturizer for clear, smooth skin.

I used to wear the Oil-Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin day and night, but for day I've switched to this because I wanted more protection than my powder offered me. It does its job just as well as the sensitive skin variety but with the added protection come a few very minor drawbacks that are inevitable with any SPF product. It is not quite as light feeling and it is shinier. It will sting if you get it too close to the eyes. However, my naturally dry skin is still smooth, dewy and clear and I'm more protected from the sun. A good trade off, I think.
