DDF Glycolic Toning Complex

Best toner ever

I recently purchased the Glycolic toner... and this is the first toner I have ever used where I feel like it's working. My esthetician had recommended that I purchase a toner for my blackheads (and breakouts on the cheek and chin from blackheads). I've used proactive, dermalogica, and villa floriani before, but they do not compare.

Good cleanser

Seems to remove makeup pretty well. Hasn't performed miracles, but it is definitely a great and (relatively inexpensive) cleanser

I have this in a rollerball and it is definitely my favorite perfume. The scent is nice and refreshing.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15

Good Lip Balm

I really like this stuff. It's the only lip balm I use consistently. I do have a qualm that it takes a bit before my lipstick can go on... I need the balm to dry or else the lipstick comes on strangely (gummy and doesn't smooth properly)

Peter Thomas Roth Acne Treatment Kit

Not a fan

I used this acne treatment kit in hopes of curing a huge breakout. What I ended up using was a department store brand benzyl peroxide tube... which did the job much better than this kit.

bareMinerals ORIGINAL SPF 15 Foundation

It's Alright

This foundation definitely does the job of perking me up, but I need to layer concealer under it to hide my blemishes. I don't find the coverage as good as liquid foundation (despite the advertisements) and I have not found my skin to be breaking out less. On the plus side, I do like the color it gives me and it certainly does its job, especially with some primer beneath it.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Oil Free

Too light

While it seemed like a great moisturizer, I definitely prefer Smashbox's primer. I tried it on this morning and my makeup didn't go on as smoothly as it does on Smashbox. But I have rough skin... so if you are looking for a lighter-feeling primer, this definitely is it.

DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask

Trying to get rid of blackheads

I'm trying to use the sulfur mask to get rid of some blackhead bumps (clogged pores) that I have around my cheek and chin, I haven't seen any visible improvement, and I have been using it every day for the past 3 or 4 days. I'm going to keep trying though...

Nars Lipstick

Love the colors, but not long lasting

I have dry lips, so I apply lip balm before I try on the lipstick. Still, the colors don't last as long as I would hope. Barberella and mitzy are the ones I use, and I think Barberella (pure peach) is the best lip color I have found.
