    Revlon PhotoReady Makeup

    Blah Gross. Looks like mud.

I saw Kandee Johnson rave about this so of course I bought it. Too bad soo sad for me because I hate it. It's like I'm smearing melted watery crayon on my face. It doesn't blend into your skin, it doesn't hide any flaws, and it definitely doesn't even out your skin tone because it looks like you washed your face with watery mud. I tried to figure out a way to wear it, but after playing around with it about 3-4 times, I said screw it, threw it away, and bought something else. I liked Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation 10000x more than this stuff and the prices are nearly the same.

  • Aussie Instant Freeze Hair Spray (Non-Aerosol)

I'm sad this is discontinued! I love this hairspray for when I need my hair to stay absolutely in place and fight my baby hairs that get frizzy when I wear my hair up. This is not a daily hairspray, but for special occasions (or at leased special hairstyles), it always works. It is called FREEZE and that's exactly what it does, and I love it. Sad I'm going to have to find a new one. :(

  • TRESemme Classic Styling Tres Two Extra Hold Hair Spray

Oh goodness I love this stuff! I use it all the time because it gives great hold without being crunchy at all. I also love the big fat bottle in comes in because I know I won't have to be running back to the store for more soon. You can apply more or less depending on the hold you want, and it stays all day. It also adds shine, fights frizziness, and looks natural. This is the only hairspray I use UNLESS I need intense freeze hold, then I use something else. I'm on my like 5th bottle and don't see any end in sight!

  • EOS Everyday Hand Lotion

    EOS Everyday Hand Lotion

    Cute & Compact

The lotion is great, but I think the packaging is what makes these exciting. They are fun and different than hand lotions we've seen before, and nice and compact for carrying around everywhere. A bit pricey considering you don't really get that much product, but again, I think you're buying into the packaging when you get these. That's not to say the lotion isn't good, but you know what I mean. :)

    EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm

    Cute & Moisturizing

These are great chapsticks in a cute package. I love the pink one, the other ones I don't much care for. The balm isn't greasy and makes my lips feel soft without being waxy. I can apply lipstick on top of it, which is also a great perk. :)

    MAC Prep + Prime Skin

    Primer? Joke.

I'm going to be blunt: I had high hopes for this primer because I love Mad, but this is silly. I didn't find it helped my makeup stay on longer at all, and noticed no difference except to my wallet. In my personal opinion, skip it or try something else. I can't even say it has any negative aspects to it because that would assume I noticed anything about it in the first place. As far as I'm concerned, this is a shimmery lotion-y substance in a pretty sparkely bottle and that's about it.

  • E.L.F. Liquid Eyeliner

    E.L.F. Liquid Eyeliner

    HG Eyeliner.

I have this in black and love it. The quality, packaging, pigmentation, applicator, and staying power are all fantastic, especially when you consider it's only a dollar! I don't think I'll be trying another liquid liner for a long time because I'm so happy with this one. Do'nt get me wrong, I own lots of higher end makeup (Mac, UD, Benefit) but why spend more money when you find something that works like the higher end products. Totally recommend. And if you don't like it, it was only a dollar. :)

  • Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils

I used to only buy Maybelline eyeliners for years, but not anymore. They aren't lying - it really does stay where you put it for 24 hours, no smudging or running. I have the mini pack of the 'Naked' colors, and couldn't be more happy. Additionally, I love using Yeyo (full sized white pencil) for my inner tearducts and it stays all day! I'm amazed. These are also really pigmented and I'm excited to try out the other colors. Definitely recommend to girls/guys who love eyeliner.

  • Benefit BADgal Lash

    Benefit BADgal Lash

    Solid Awesome Mascara.

BadGal lengthens, darkens, and seperates my lashes. It doesn't do much for volume, but I just top it off with something else. I wouldn't say it's my favorite mascara ever, but if you want to try a new mascara and KNOW that you're getting a great quality product, try BadGal. Benefit usually is generous about giving away samples, so try to get your hands on one of them. I have this in a sample size and love it. I actually just got another sample size (thanks Ulta bonuses!) and am excited to use it. I don't know if I'll purchase after the samples run out because it isn't mind blowing, but like I said, I'm excited to enjoy it for free for another month or so. :)

  • MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara
    5.0

MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara

    LoveHate Relationship

I have a love hate relationship with this mascara. For the price, I feel like it's unacceptable. I got this in a tiny sample sized and loved it, so I bought the full when it ran out. Wow - they sure aren't the same! The full size version is disappointing. As a mascara junkie who's literally tried hundreds of mascaras, I'm disappointed that one of the pricier ones has the most problems. I can't use it on it's own because it creates clumps like I've NEVER seen before. It takes eons to dry, so it always ends up making a mess either above or below my eyes, so I end up having to reapply my makeup to the eye area. Also, I find it doesn't create any length, so all I end up with are short, clumpy, nasty looking lashes. However, I do generally like using this on top of another mascara. If you apply to a semi-dry first coat of ANOTHER mascara, the Zoom Fast darkens it up, adds some volume, and can look great if you take the time to be careful (because it still takes forever to dry.) I do get compliments when I wear this on top of something else, which is nice. I will use up the tube I have now, and then never repurchase again.
