CHI Wet to Dry Flat Iron

    Use what the Pros use

I decided to invest in this since it's what my hairdresser uses and recommends. Compared to previous flat irons, this is light years ahead. It heats up in a minute and not just the warm heat you would expect but fully hot and usable. My hair after using this compared to some less expensive models is like I just stepped out of the salon. My hair looks the same as when my hairdresser did it and does not get that burned frizzy look like it did before I bought this. My hair looks healthier between visits and for me it's worth the steep price to keep the style going.

    CND SolarOil

My favorite beauty product of ALL time!!!

I found a beauty supply store that carries this in small travel sizes. For about a dollar each, I can keep one in the car, work, the bathroom and in my purse. I wash my hands a lot during the day and lotion wasn't keeping my nailbeds moisturized enough. I've used this for about 5 years now and love the way it keeps my nails soft and with a slight sheen. I usually buff my nails so this also adds a little shine to the nail bed. Sometimes if I'm out and don't have access to my lotion, I use it on my hands. It also helps with dry elbows, which I use during there as needed.

  • Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover

I tried this product after it came with a free gift with purchase. I struggled to find something that removed waterproof mascara and didn't make my eyes red and irritated. I settled on Benefit's product since it also doubled as a brush cleaner. This is SO much better. Things come off without lots of rubbing to the delicate eye area. To help with the slightly greasy feel, I use a damp washcloth to apply instead of a cotton ball and it seems to help. I will continue to use this product weather it comes via a gift with purchase or if I have to pay for it myself!

  • The Body Shop Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz

This is part of the Vitamin C line from The Body Shop. I use this more during the hot months here in San Diego. I keep it in the fridge and spray it on as quick pick me up. I don't use this daily or when I have make-up on but mostly on the weekends after chores & gardening or after my shower. If you have used Evian to spritz your face, this is similar but with the benefits of Vitamin C and not the drying effects of water.

  • Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream

A friend introduced me to this line from Origins and I have stopped using it in over 4 years. This body cream is light and fluffy like cake frosting. The scent is light and intoxicating. The cream is not too oily or gooey.
