    Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo

    Definitely pleased with this

This is the only clarifying shampoo I've used, so I can't compare it to anything else, but I definitely am pleased with the results. I've seen a few lower ratings stating it's too strong for everyday use, but keep in mind that is the point. You're only supposed to use it about once a week to get rid of build-up, so it is strong. I use it less than that, because I don't use a lot of product, so it lasts a REALLY long time, and is a great value. I'm not crazy about the smell - but it does the job for sure. When you feel your hair seems more resistant to shampoo than normal - it's time to whip this out. It basically strips away ALL buildup and grime. Keep in mind, you have to use a good handful, because it doesn't quite lather the same as a normal shampoo. All in all, it works great for once-in-a-while grime attack.

  • Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo

One of my favorite things I love about all Aussie shampoos is the smell. (The ginger orange is my favorite) - It's incredibly relaxing in the shower, lingers, and the volume shampoo leaves my hair shiny and bouncy. I think it may actually help adhance any natural curl I have as well, which is nice, because I like that look. All around, great shampoo!

  • Alberto VO5 Silky Experiences Champagne Kiss Conditioner

Do you ever do that trick where when you're almost out of conditioner, you add water and shake it to make it last a day or two longer? That's basically what you get when you buy this. It IS very cheap, so it will sort of do the job (If you have good hair and don't need any sort of special treatment), but unless you are really short for cash, it's not really worth the $1 you spend on it. I'd rather spend a few more and buy something I feel actually does something. You could at least water a bottle of actual conditioner down and it would be like 5 bottles of V05 - probably saving you money in the long run.

    Pond's Dry Skin Cream

    Not amazing for normal skin

I could definitely see the benefit of this for dry skin, but I am 20 and have acne prone skin and it is way to thick for me. I feel like I have a layer of film leftover on my face after I use it.

  • L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara Black

I generally use cheaper mascaras, but so far this one has been the best. It clumps a bit occasionally and I feel like it dried out a bit after a few months, but it makes my lashes huge! Adds length and a ton of volume - plus it stays all day. Great for a cheaper price! (About $7)

  • Maybelline New York Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

A little harder to apply than a pencil liner, but it's worth it. It's stays on all day - so it doesn't have to be as portable either. I might have to do a touch up before the day is over, but only if I'm going out again. Aside from that, I'm not a huge fan of the brush, but I'm getting used to it.

Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick

    Cheap and it shows

It's incredibly cheap (about $0.99) very good for experimenting with color, but not much else. It melts in the tube, is gritty, and smears - plus it won't stay on for more than 30 minutes. I got rid of mine.
