Gwyneth Paltrow Preachin' to the People: Modeling's 'a Perfect Job for When You Have Kids'

After searching high and low for the perfect nude lipstick, I finally found it! You have no idea how long it's taken me to find it. I was looking for the perfect balance of pink and brown and I just couldn't find it, no matter where I looked. For some reason every nude-colored lipstick appeared too pink on me. Apparently, a woman who was helping me at Sephora told me I have pink undertones in my skin. I had no idea! I always thought I had yellow undertones because I'm Korean. I was reading reviews on the Korres mango butter lip balm, so I decided to try the lipstick. I saw the color "nude" on the Sephora site and I thought it looked pretty nice. When I received it and tried it, I swear I heard "Hallelujah" from Handel's "Messiah". I was so happy with the color and felt such a relief. Now I can't tell you that it will be the perfect nude for you. You should try it at a Sephora and see the color. As for the texture, it is a little glossy for me but I just blot my lips and it's great. It feels great on my lips and I am happy!

It's been about one and a half months and I've applied the serum every night during that span. On my left eye, my evil eyelash curler (just kidding! I really do love you, Shu Uemura eyelash curler!) ripped out about four or five lashes and left a huge bald spot. It was horrible! That's why I decided to get RapidLash. I've tried other eyelash growth serums, but they were either way too slow or just didn't work at all. The majority of the reviews were positive, so I decided to shell out the thirty bucks. Well after two weeks or so, the bald spot was gone. I'm serious! My other lashes were definitely longer. I can totally tell that they're longer. They almost reach my brow bone when I curl them and put mascara on, and they've never been that long before! As for use, I applied a thin line along my lash line. On the first day I applied a lot on each eye and boy, was that a mistake. My eyes burned and they felt itchy. I thought that more serum equaled better results. Not so. I dip the wand in twice, one swipe for each eye. A thin line is all that is needed. So don't make the same mistake I did. I'm thinking other reviewers who had problems with their eyes did what I did on the first day. I'm only assuming. Remember, less is more! I also applied it a few times on my brows and I've also seen regrowth there. They've gotten so long that I need to trim them. I know, crazy! There is a sad part to my story. My eyelash curler once again ripped out some lashes and I'm waiting for them to grow back again. The moral of this story is that I need a new eyelash curler. And there's nothing wrong with Shu Uemura eyelash curlers. It's just that mine is old and the springs are worn out, hence the ripping of my eyelashes. So in conclusion, I strongly suggest you get this serum. I don't know if my eyelashes are thicker. Maybe a tiny bit? But they are absolutely longer. Instead of spending over $100 a month on Latisse and the pain of getting a prescription for it, get RapidLash. It is worth the money and it costs a lot less than Latisse. You can get three tubes for the same amount of a month-supply of Latisse. Now that's a deal!

Maybelline New York Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil
Best Replacement for Maybelline Twin Brow and Eye Pencils
I'm writing this review because this pencil saved my life. Okay, I'm being a bit dramatic but I felt completely lost when I found out Maybelline discontinued their Expert Eyes Twin Brow and Eye Pencils in Charcoal Grey. There's a bit of a cult following with the Charcoal Grey and I know many people were devastated when it was discontinued. So I looked around everywhere for a replacement. I spent so much money looking for a replacement for that perfect pencil. Who knew that a replacement was right under my nose? I should've just tried something else in the Maybelline line in the first place. I'm surprised this product has such a low rating! The Define-A-Brow pencil in Dark Blonde is virtually the same as the Charcoal Grey. It may not seem like it because of the word "blonde," but trust me. They're basically the same color. I like how the pencil is very thin. I don't have to sharpen it. I can fill in my brows as lightly or darkly as I'd like. It's great! The first time I used it, I turned the pencil too much and I kept snapping off the tip. So now I turn it a little bit at a time and I haven't had any problems. I've found that it doesn't last as long as the Expert Eyes, but that's okay. It's an amazing replacement and I really can't complain about that. The color, texture, and price are perfect. If you don't want to buy it online, just go to a drugstore, Walmart, or Target and find it there. I highly recommend this product!

I have thick, sometimes crazy, frizzy, wavy hair. It takes me at least 25 minutes to straighten it. I usually section off my hair into three sections and blow dry with a paddle brush and then finish off with my Chi straightening iron. I know. Long process. When I tried this for the first time, I really set this product up for failure. I sectioned off my hair into two sections and I only really just dried the bottom layer without straightening. I brushed through the top layer without really doing much, either. I just made sure my hair was completely dry before I put in the serum. I put two pumps of serum into my hair, rubbed my hands together and worked it through my hair. You know what? My hair was actually straight! It wasn't as straight as if I used my straightening iron, but that's okay! I had no weird kinks or dents in my hair. My hair wasn't poofed out. My hair was smooth and straight. This product won't replace your straightening iron but it can cut down on your straightening time. I just haphazardly dried my hair with my dryer and then used the serum, and it actually worked! If you really want to, you could use an iron on the top layer of your hair and then use the serum to really make it polished. No need to use the iron on your bottom layers. I highly recommend this serum! It's worth the price.

This primer is a good product. It lasted for over 8 hours on my eyelids, however there is one horrible thing about this product. THE PACKAGING. You have to literally saw the bottle into 3 parts to get all the product. While the bottle may be cute, there's a design flaw. I don't know if the company did it on purpose so that people could go out and buy more quickly or they just didn't think that the consumer couldn't get out all the product. It's just really inconvenient. I suggest getting the Too Faced Shadow Insurance instead. At least you can squeeze the tube and get everything out without having to go through all the trouble of cutting the bottle and putting the product into jars (which I think could be hygienically unsafe). 7 stars because the packaging stinks. It really is THAT annoying and shows me that packaging really does matter.

Maybelline New York XXL Curl Power Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara
Clumps, Clumps, and More Clumps!
I'm Asian and I have sparse, short lashes that just go straight down. None of the curling mascaras work for me, but I thought I'd give this a try anyway. One can hope, right? I also liked that it volumizes and lengthens so I had to try it. First off let me tell you about the brushes. I HATE them! I couldn't apply the mascara correctly because of the curve. And they were too big. As a result, the first step left me with clumpy lashes. After the second step, my lashes looked like horrendous spider legs. They looked so unnatural and ugly. There were clumps everywhere and even though I curled my lashes before applying the mascara (which I always do), my lashes uncurled and straightened out again. Horrible mascara. I had to return it ASAP. Disappointed because I tried to be optimistic about it, but once again I was let down.

I don't know why I didn't buy this product sooner. I've always had a problem with my eyeshadow creasing not long after applying it. I have really oily eyelids, along with my forehead, cheeks, and nose. I would just reapply my eyeshadow and it just looked like a caked on mess. I finally bought the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and I am SO happy! To see a difference, I used the primer on one eyelid and none on the other. After only just three hours, the primerless eyelid was already creased and the shadow was fading. It looked terrible. How did I ever put up with this? The lid with primer was flawless! I checked every hour and it stayed put for over EIGHT hours! After about eight hours, the shadow did start to fade, but not as bad as the primerless eyelid. After 12 hours, I did notice a little creasing. I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I know that the Urban Decay Primer Potion is really popular, so I got a small sample of it at Sephora to compare the two. Well, they were pretty much the same. The Too Faced did go on my eyelids more easily and it felt more silky. But the results were the same. Here's my opinion. With the Urban Decay, the bottle design is really stupid. In order to get all the product in there, you have to literally saw the bottle into three parts. Then you have to scoop out the remaining product and put them in jars. And even if you do get all the remaining product, there's a possibility that the product might dry out. Plus that doesn't sound hygienically safe. I say get the Too Faced because the tube is squeezable, allowing you to get all the product inside. I really thought that this product wouldn't work. I was skeptical because my eyelids are so oily. I was pleasantly surprised and now I'm sold. This will be a staple in my beauty routine. Go get it!

In the beginning I was skeptical about this eyelash curler. Why would I spend $18 on an eyelash curler? Now this is the only curler that I use. It works so well. It curls my lashes perfectly and they stay curled all day. It fits perfectly around my eyelids. I'm Asian and my lashes don't tend to stay curled for too long. With this eyelash curler and my favorite mascara, Maybelline Lash Discovery, my lashes look great all day. It's a must have!

Chi makes great products and this iron is no exception. I have very thick, wavy hair and this iron makes straightening effortless. It glides through my hair so smoothly and leaves my hair very straight and shiny. It heats up quickly and you can adjust the heat with the dial on the side. It works great and I highly recommend buying one. It is expensive but well worth the price.
