  • Urban Decay Good Karma Blender Brush

my friend who is a rep for urban decay gave me this brush to try and i absolutely love it. i use it mostly for concealer. it blends it out perfectly and makes it so that my under eye concealer blends out and doesn't sink into any lines. i love that it's synthetic but it's still soft and great for both liquid, cream and powder blending!

  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
    9.0

    Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

the last primer i will ever use!

the idea of an eye primer is great but most of the time most primers will stay wet on the skin and will actually crease the shadow more, but this stuff is awesome because it dries instantly and gives the eye a totally clean, dry palette for the eye shadow. IF YOUR SKIN IS DRY I WOULD SUGGEST USING A MOISTURIZING EYE CREAM ON YOUR LIDS. it really helps. this does intensify the color of the shadow a bit, but most of hype is from the long lasting-ness of the product. seriously i can go to a show and dance like a maniac and be completely drenched in sweat and my eye shadow will have stayed on. also stays on if i go to the gym and have been working out. it's crazy! the only reason i really knocked it one star is because of the packaging, which is TERRIBLE! i know i have like half of the product in there still but i cant get to it because of the odd shape of the bottle and the stick. it doesn't bother me all too much because i get this stuff for free from one of my best friends who is a rep for them, but i can see that being a HUGE drawback for someone who is paying retail for it.

  • Essie Nail Polish
    9.0

    Essie Nail Polish

    good for light colors

i like essie. i like them a lot, but they are really only good for light colors. that's their real niche. they have a great selection of pink. the widest range of light pinks. and a couple of nudes and neutrals. im not all about pink and prefer a nude/neutral. but if you're looking for any sort of light pink, essie's got it. edgier ladies will find this line rather boring, but i've come to love some of their colors. they are great quality and the little bottles last a long time!

  • OPI Sephora by OPI Autumn and Eve Collection

i like the quality of this polish, its a great consistency and has good coverage, even the pale colors, with 2 coats you have a good opaque color. i do like the brush that this comes with, i'm not all about the "pro wide brush" that the regular opi line has so it was nice to see that it wasn't included in this collection. there are a good selection of colors for most people. i've been on a nude kick lately and i like "can you keep a secret?" and "i need space" the best.

  • Jane Iredale PurePressed Pressed Minerals SPF 20

so this powder is great. i really love it. i don't technically own it though. i work at pure beauty and we carry the jane iredale line. and some times if i haven't had the time to put any make up on i'll use this powder. it makes my pores shrink and has some great BUILDABLE coverage. the more you layer on the more the coverage will be. what i also like is that it's sunscreen, concealer and foundation in one. this is the ONLY powder i've ever tried that can actually be used as a concealer. i've never used a powder like that. the only draw back is that it's $48!!! that's just ridiculous. even with my 25% discount i couldn't bring myself to buy it. but i can still use it at work. and i do recommend it if you have more of a disposable income and more drastic skin issues. you'll love it!

  • DDF Glycolic 10% Exfoliating Moisturizer

this moisturizer is really great! it makes my skin feel baby smooth and i'm loving what its been doing! i have a problem with ingrown hairs on my legs and this has been helping and making it easier when i epilate. the smell clean and fresh, not medicinal but not perfume-y either. if you're looking for a serious moisturizer, this is it!

    Redken Elastic Works 09

    great staying power for curls!

the fibers in this really make the curls shape to any way you choose. i absolutely love the consistency of this! it's thick, but it doesn't dry stiff and hard. this is definitely NOT a gel for scrunching or for crunchy curls. it's thick enough that it adds body and fullness yet it doesn't make hair feel heavy or dull it down! great product for curly or wavy hair girls!

  • Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads

these are amazing! i love that they will remove my mac liquidlast that will not come off if i don't use something oil based. will remove anything waterproof or water resistant. i love that you only need one pad for both eyes and everything comes off super fast. the only thing is that you HAVE TO wipe up after, either with a makeup wipe or use these wipes before you wash up with your regular cleanser. awesome, awesome little pads!! and a steal!!! seriously a great price!

  • Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two

    Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two

    amazing clarifying shampoo!

i figured shampoo three might strip too much of my natural oils since its recommended for chlorine, but this stuff is amazing. i don't use it every time i wash my hair but every two times and it washes the buildup and helps was away dead and dry skin from my scalp. clarifying shampoos tend to be so expensive, but this stuff works great for a fantastic price!
