I've been using this product for about 15 years. Probably every day - thats an awful lot of gel. Its different to other gels because its not jelly like or sticky. Its basically creme not gel. It does not set hard or glue your hair together. Your hair will look the same after application, but will hold in place - with some flex. Probably if you are used to gluing your hair in a certain way - this is not for you. Its more of a subtle product for short hair. You only have to use a small amount each time and for this reason I can justify the high price of the product. Finally, the name of the product is perhaps misleading... its not really 'slick'. This implies to me 'oily' but its more of a cream. Anyway - pick up a tube of this and try it - I think its the best out there.
