Suave Professionals Volumizing Mousse

Nice volume but too drying

I left my usual volumizer (Aveda Phomollient) at home on a recent vacation, so I ended buying this instead. It did a pretty decent job of keeping my hair controlled and bouncy, but my hair also felt really dry. I think I'll stick with Aveda, but this is OK in a pinch.

Tom's of Maine Natural Antiplaque Toothpaste with Propolis & Myrrh

Surprisingly fresh!

I really never thought I would like anything other than a mint toothpaste, but this is really great stuff! I love the fennel flavor. It makes my mouth feel clean without all the saccharine sweetness of other brands.

Philosophy The Present Clear Makeup

Good for combination skin

I have tried other primers (Smashbox, Laura Mercier, Benefit...) but I like this the best. It keeps the shine away, but doesn't dry out the rest of my face. The only problem I have with it is that it contains parabens, which is one ingredient I am trying to avoid, although somewhat unsuccessfully because it is in so many good products!

Great definition without greasiness

This product is great. I have very fine and soft hair and have a hard time finding products that add definition without weighing it down. This does the trick and smells great too.

Kerastase Chroma Reflect Milk

Softness and shine!

My sister is a stylist and gave me this conditioner. I have been loyal to Aveda Color Conserve products for years, but this is better. My hair is shiny and soft after just three days of use. A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last for awhile.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

Great everyday moisturizer

I love this moisturizer. It is lightweight and doesn't have any funky smells. I use it on my neck and hands too to keep them soft and protected.

Bliss Sunban Face

Light

After a recent skin cancer diagnosis I have been searching for a great sunscreen that doesn't make me break out. This one works really well- especially on my oily t-zone, but it is too drying for the rest of my face (I use Kiehl's Ultra Face Moisturizer with SPF there instead.) I also like that Bliss Sunban doesn't sting like other SPF products.

I love this foundation. It is so easy to use, lasts a long time and doesn't make me feel like I am wearing make-up.

Benefit BADgal Lash

Fat dark lashes...

This mascara is great- it lasts all day without getting dry or flaky. It does smudge a little after a few hours, but it's a small price to pay for lush lashes.
