  • Origins Eye Doctor Moisture Care for Skin Around Eyes

I've used a lot of eye creme in my time. This has been my favorite, thus far, although sometimes concealer-loving-me uses an eye-creme with more dimethicone to add smoothness. I think this is a great basic eyecreme with a moisturizing, cooling, cucomber-scented twist. I love the fact that this doesn't have any sort of waxiness to it, applies smooth, and absorbs entirely. I gave it 8 stars because I didn't feel that it helped with my dark circles as much as I would have liked (but I haven't found an eyecreme that does this too well) I would recommend this as a good eye creme for dry to normal skin as a good daily creme. I don't think it's the best if you have super-dark circles, because you cannot layer concealer over this like a concealer-loving-fiend, like I am, you have to use some form of silicone based primer in-between. However, if you have a simple morning concealer routine, then no biggie!!! Awesome eyecreme! I will probably buy this for years to come. And fyi, I really loved this more than ginzing, because the texture was different and "less waxy." ALSO, Origins (at least the feestanding stores) is really really really good about free samples, so try everything out, and then buy what you love!

  • Nars Highlighting Blush Powder

This product adds a beautiful golden-glow. The effect is georgeous, but this is a product that MUST be applied correctly. To use, gently swipe the palate with a large stippling brush to apply product on cheekbones, temples, collarbone, or anywhere you desire a bit of a hollywood glow. This product is best used after you apply blush or bronzer, since it is a subtle highlighter. If you find that there's too much product on your cheeks (which is the ONLY mistake you can make thorugh over-application) simply use a brush with lots of dense-bristles (like a kabuki brush) to buff the excess product to desired lightness. If you're considering buying this product, I would highly encourage it. It's very beautiful, and the particles are VERY fine, so it never looks like you borrowed product from a 13-year-old, junior-high, student's homecoming-makeup bag.

    MAC Plush Lash Mascara

    I love big lashes

but tend to have big transfer between lashes and below the eyes. I love the fact that this does not transfer, it wears forever, and you can add several coats without it getting clupy.

    Buxom Full-on Lip Polish

    Krystal and Trixie

are my shades. I love the high-shine finish and the tingling, which increases circulation and plumps the lips. It's longer wearing than most gloseses and is a great moistureizer. The packaging is decieving though, you feel like you're getting a lot, when you're really not. I really wish this company would come up with a recycling program.

    M.A.C. Eye Shadow

    I'm in love

with these little pigmets. They last forever and blend easily. They don't crease and last all night. I can't say that a better shadow has ever been made.

    So, this made...

One of Oprah's many lists a while back. I was excited to try it...but was unimpressed. I didn't like the smell, first off. It also felt whipped--soft, smooth, and full of air. There was no weight to the product. it has an exfoliant in it, so it's great for those that have never exfoliated before, but i tried to use this instead of my daily, liquid exfoliant, and that left me not only dry, but flaky, with a top layer of grease...which never sank in. I ended up returning the product. I've had much worse, so I rated this as a 6, but it was definately not worth the extra dollars.

  • Aveda Foot Relief

    Aveda Foot Relief

    Exfoliatinga and Minty

This product, like many foot lotions, has peppermint in it. It also has a natural, mint-derived exfoliant and is super rich and thick. I put this product on every night then throw on a pair of cotton socks. You can actually feel it cool your feet. Definately worth the price.

  • Aveda All-Sensitive Body Formula

to say the least. Organic, fragrance free, and dye free, the composition is mostly jojoba seed oil. Good for moisture, especially really-sensitive skin types.

  • Aveda Calming Composition

I am obsessed with the entire composition line that Aveda produces. I have dry scalp and dry skin. I only wash my hair 3-4 times a week. The night before I wash my hair, I rub it into my scalp to hydrate. I also put a little into my lotion every day to add extra moisture. It has plenty of jojoba seed oil, which mimics your skin's natural body oils. Sometimes, when I'm feeling super-dry I use this product INSTEAD of lotion. My skin absorbs it quickly. and stays super soft. Calming composition has a hint of rose oil in it.
