Here are all my reviews:
  • Urban Decay Good Karma Blush Brush

This brush is sooo soft and it feels so good against my cheek when I apply bronzer or blush! It picks up the product well and spreads evenly. I didnt expect that from a synthetic brush. The handle is weighted, which I like. I bought it along with the powder and shadow brushes to upgrade my old, cheap makeup brush set after reading raving reviews on various sites and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

  • Estee Lauder Tender Blush

I'm not much of a blush user at the moment but the Rosewood color looks so natural on me when I do wear it. I only have the sample size but I'm impressed with its fine texture and color. I'd definitely consider buying it when I run out.

    CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Shadows

Mixed feelings - I wanted to like them

I had 3 quads: Crystal Waters, Drama Eyes, and Tropical Fusion. Crystal waters was beatiful, but the first two shadows in it were poorly pigmented. The lightest shade was a sheer whitish crystal color, but the last 2 had more pigment. It looked good on me at first, but after a few hours, my eyes would be a mess and smudges would somehow wind up below my eyes. I was disappointed because I really wanted to like this particular one. Drama Eyes and the Tropical one were much more pigmented and stayed on longer. Drama Eyes would make a great smokey eye if it would stay put. I like the tropical one more for eyeliner because its so bright on me. That one was an impulse buy, I'm sorry to say. When I wear them you can see that the shadows are a bit coarse and flaky when I put it on the applicator, so I wont be buying these again, and I was disappointed with the quality because I have an old CG 3 shadow pallette that wears better than these new ones.

  • Sonia Kashuk Kashuk Tools Brow Groomer with Metal Comb

This is the best lash and brow groomer I've ever seen because of the metal teeth, and it's so cheap, too! It must be popular because Target keeps selling out of it before I can get to it and finally I was able to grab the last one. It even comes with a little cap for the teeth end.

  • CoverGirl Fresh Complexion Under-Eye Concealer

I regularly used maybelline but I tried covergirl concealer because I had a BOGO coupon for it. I was disappointed with this concealer...the coverage is very light and didn't cover my dark undereye circles at all. I managed to thicken it somewhat by blow drying into the bottle for a minute and then I left the cap off for a couple hours. It works okay as an undereye/blemish concealer for me now. I wouldn't buy this again. This really deserves a lower score, but I managed to fix the problem, and when I bought it, I got a foundation I needed for free, so it will get 5 stars, which I consider a "neutral" score.

  • Biore Detoxifying Daily Scrub

    Biore Detoxifying Daily Scrub

    Good exfoliating scrub

This is the first scrub I've used- before this I used the cheap facial exfoliating pads which were too abrasive. I don't use this every day -but this scrub does leave my face feeling very smooth and refreshed after use. I also like the sweet fragrance. This product is worth trying out.

  • L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Concentrated Shadow Duos

L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Concentrated Shadow Duos

L'Oreal HIP: One of the better drugstore shadows

I own Wicked, which is an eggplant and metallic bronze-ish duo. I love this shadow, especially the bronze color...It makes a very dramatic evening look and is flattering to my complexion. The container is nifty, too. It opens up on the bottom to reveal a little mirror and a sponge applicator. The only thing I don't like is that the shadow is harder to blend than what I'm used to, so the sponge applicator is just about useless. You need a good brush to blend properly and sometimes I end up using my finger to blend because the brush I use is cheaply made. It also takes 3-4 brush strokes to bring the eggplant shade to the desired intensity. I think its a good thing, so you can build the shade up gradually. The consistency of the shadow isn't chalky, but smooth, and it sticks to my skin very well. It lasts a reasonable time on me, but my lids are oily, so just about everything creases eventually.

  • Burt's Bees Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme
    10.0

Burt's Bees Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme

    Great for dry, cracked skin

The skin on the back of my hands dries, cracks and can bleed in the winter and this hand creme prevents that from happening (and relieves cracking). I've noticed that it tends to go on slightly sticky in a cold room and it goes on oilier when it's been in a warm room, but either way it absorbs readily into my dry skin. I avoid getting it on my palms because it doesnt absorb as well on well hydrated patches of skin. The banana scent is nonoffensive (at least to me)and doesnt last long (not that I care). Its rather expensive (at $9) but a little goes a long way. I found this one at Waldenbooks and if you're a rewards member you can use your coupons for it. I only paid $5.73 for the last jar.

  • Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil

I rarely used eye pencils because my upper eyelid is terribly sensitive to the pressure needed to apply the eyeliner and my eye would always twitch and water. But Rimmel's Soft Kohl Kajal eye pencil is so soft that I don't need to put too much pressure on my eyelid and I can tolerate application. After reading the comments here I decided to try it and I now own the Jet Black and Sable Brown (for a softer look). I'm satisfied with the colors/color intensity on my skin. I checked the company's website and it lives up to its claim of being soft and smudgable. My eyelids are oily so it does sometimes need some minor touching up in one particular area of my eyelid, but otherwise its perfect for me. I'm happy with the price and would buy this product again in the future.
