    Too Faced Wrinkle Injection

    Instant Gratification!

I've tried several "wrinkle fillers" -including Joey Line Up, L'Oreal Wrinkle Decrease Collagen Filler and Avon's ANEW Expression Line Filler. The reason I try so many because many of them DON'T WORK!! I wasn't seeing results as promised - that is, none of them really minimized or filled in the laugh lines, crease between my eye brows, etc. I'm not looking for miracles - otherwise known as Botox (I'm too poor for that) but I was hoping to find something that I could apply and then say, "I can see a difference - this stuff works!". Enter Too Faced Wrinkle Injection. I saw a tester out at Sephora and tried it. It's a light colored cream that's thicker than some of the others I've tried; it doesn't lose its shape coming out of the tube. It's easy to apply; goes on smoothly and is blends nicely. But did I see results? YES! IMMEDIATELY. It fills in lines and wrinkles and gives skin a slightly luminous appearance. I did not hesitate in my decision to buy this stuff. It works and it's not too pricey. One of the women working at Sephora told me that continued use of Too Faced Wrinkle Injection will actually reduce the lines and wrinkles. Will it? I don't know. But I do know that it immediately fills lines and wrinkles, making them CONSIDERABLY less noticeable. And that's what I was looking for!

    Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

Even with dry skin, it's too slick for me...and i was short-pumped!

i wanted to try smashbox photofinish primer because i'd read and heard some great things about it. its claims to fill in lines and pores for a flawless finish are a bit overstated, in my opinion. true, nothing's going to completely fill those laugh lines i've acquired, but if a product claims to "fill in" , one would expect it to "fill in" - at least enough to make a noticeable difference! (to the user, that is - not necessarily to others) this primer feels slick out of the bottle- and my skin had an oily feel to it after i applied it. to clarify, it did not make my skin "oily", but it definitely felt like it. another disappointment in this smashbox primer: the dispensing pump only went 3/4 down into the bottle!! what's more, even when new, the product was reluctant to come out. once it stopped dispensing, i ended up taking off the pump and taking it out with a Q-Tip. there was a LOT left in the bottle when the pump stopped dispensing, so think it's all gone once it stops pumping. my foundation did stay put through out the day, definitely a plus for this primer. i'd give this a rating of average (5) for a primer because it did seem to give my foundation "staying power", but it definitely loses points for not living up to its claims to "fill and perfect" and for scrimping on the pump dispenser!

Fusion Beauty SkinFusion Soft Focus Fluid

    The proof is in....the mirror!

I was skeptical. I mean, there are SO many products making BIG promises. It can be overwhelming, AND expensive, trying to separate the authentic from the false promises. I hadn't heard of SkinFusion Soft Focus Fluid Foundation until I saw it at Ulta. A liquid mineral sheer foundation claiming intuitive, customized coverage, and radiant, glowing skin. I purchased the light/medium and went home to try it out. The foundation is light lavender-ish, gray in color. I applied it to my face and...could not believe my eyes! No fake color. No actual color at all. It looks like my skin....only better! Not completely poreless, but very close to it! And the radiance? Yes. SkinFusion Soft Focus does make my skin look noticeably and wonderfully more radiant. It evens out my skin tone, too, to the point where wearing concealer isn't a "must". The only disappointments - the day after I bought it, the pump became dislodged from the tube that brings up the foundation, so I had to remove the bottle from its outer shell and tip the bottle over slightly to get it out. The other disappointment is, because the actual bottle containing the foundation is housed inside another, it appears as if there's a little more foundation in there than there actually is. But I'm sold on this product, and will purchase more - and, because of its authenticity, I'm inclined to check out the rest of the line too!
