Way to go Revlon!
I haven't tried this yet but I will be soon. I fell in love with Clairol Natural Instincts but I am going to switch. Not because Colorsilk is cheaper but because Revlon is the only drugstore brand that doesn't test on animals which is very important to me. I am really hoping this doesn't disappoint because I really want to use a product that doesn't rub chemicals in animals eyes to make our hair look good.

Shrinks polish and peels off
I really liked this stuff at first because it dried really fast and my nails were really shiny. But after looking closer the bottom the nail polish (near my cuticle) it was uneven and looked like it had shrunk. Then after only a couple days it starts to peel off in one big layer. I use OPI polish and the polish stayed it was only the top coat that peeled off. It was so frustrating to spend all that time on my nails just to have the topcoat peel off. I switched to the OPI top coat and it is much better in my opinion.

My Holy Grail Product for Curls!!
I cannot even begin to describe how much I love this product. I have naturally curly hair and I feel like I have tried almost everything. If you use hot tools to style your hair protection is a must which this provides. Diffusing my curls with this product in it gives me AMAZING results. It has the perfect amount of hold. My curls are defined, not frizzy or fluffy, without being crunchy and it gives me natural body and shine. I'm sure it would do the same for straight hair. Nothing I have tried has ever come close. I am OBSESSED with this stuff and I think I might go insane if they every discontinue it.

I always buy Clinique make up and don't really care for drugstore brands but I am going out on a date for Valentine's Day and wanted to do a smoky eye. I didn't want to buy an expensive quad since I was only going to wear it once. I got the Charcoal smokesI loved these and loved how they looked. I did use a base before applying these shadows so they were more pigmented and lasted longer. They aren't super dark but its better to be able to build it up to your desired intensity since some of the colors are a lot darker. I would definitely recommend getting some kind of base such as Two Faced Shadow insurance, or one of MAC's paint pots. I use touch base for eyes by Clinique. I was so impressed with the look there gave me. I went back and got the natural smokes one for every day. They are very easy for people who don't know how to do a smoky eye or use 4 colors (like me) since it tells you right where to put the colors. Use the right brushes, and a base and you should get GREAT results. I think these are almost as good as a department store brand.

You can really tell the difference between drugstore and salon products. I have always hated hairsprays I have tried from the drugstore but since I love joico products so much I decided to give this one a try. It is AMAZING. It has a medium hold so you can still play around with it and it looks very natural. I use it to give my very curly hair lots of volume. I highly recommend this to anyone. All joico products are great!

I love this mascara. All of my makeup is clinique but I have yet to find one of their mascaras that I like. This mascara give me great length and seperation. And since it is waterproof it holds my curl all day. I always run a lash comb through them once they have dried and it still holds the curl. This mascara gives me a natural defined look. This mascara is better than any high end brand I have tried.

Healthy Looking Hair
I have tried other at home color kits before and haven't been too impressed so I always go back to getting it colored at a salon. But I saw a good review of this product on youtube and thought I would give it a try. I love it. My hair looks shiny and healthy. I like that it uses more natural ingredients. I never thought I would like a hair color that washes out but it seems like a healthier approach to coloring. You can see some color in the water when you shower but its not bad at all. And it seems to be fading naturaly. And since its not as bad for my hair I won't mind coloring every 28 shampoos. I chose Ebony Mocha (Black/Brown) #35 and it was very true to color. I was afraid it would be too dark which has been my experience with other hair colors but it turned out great, and really shiny. It is so easy...it only sits for 10 minutes. Another good thing about this product is that is washes off skin really easily. I got a little on my hands and it washed off in a day. I wouldn't recommend this hair color for someone who wants to drastically change their haircolor but it is great if you stay within a few shades of your natural color. I would also recommend this for women with curls (which I have). If you try this product I really hope you like it as much as I did.
