So, I don't really fill out the "about me" portion of these websites, but I decided it was time.  My name is Karly.  I live, work and play in Denver, Co.  I am a senior at University of Colorado Denver where I study marketing.  I am planning on attending the Fragrance and Cosmetic Marketing Program at FIT when I am done at CU Denver. 

Besides that, I love doing makeup, studying makeup and skin care, and creating my makeup business, Mile High Makeup.  Avant Gard styles are my favorite, whether for photo shoots, runway or just a Halloween Party.  I do however have a subtle side to my work, which I am currently exploring.  

A little else about me... I have a Chihauha named Dutch LeeRoy, I collect giraffes, and I LOVE Japanese ancient culture, pop culture, and the Lolita girls (These influences can be scene in my work).  I also love reading, writing poetry and short stories, Jersey Shore (Don't judge me...), learning languages (Currently Hmon Leng from my co-worker) and dancing!!! and of course spending time with my partner of four years!
