    Nude Moisturising Body Polish

    Very floral scent

This weekend I tried out Nude's Moisturizing Body Polish - a luxurious blend of sugar and monoi oil. I personally love sugar scrubs over salt, they are gentler and, in my opinion give a better polish. Once you rinse this off, massage the oil into the skin. It will leave your skin gorgeously hydrated and scented like a hibiscus. Lovely!

La Roche-Posay Ceralip Lip Repair Cream

    Great for after air travel

Ceralip Lipid Replenishing Lip Cream is unbelievable for those sahara-dry lips I always seem to have when I disembark from an airplane. This balm is very thick and contains both shea butter and beeswax which keep your lips healthy and plump.

  • Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner

    Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner

not as amazing as the shampoo

Wow - Aveda's Dry Remedy Shampoo blew me away. The scent is overwhelmingly hippie with a capital H, but when it says it 'drenches' your hair with moisture, it really means it! I squirted this into my hand, then proceeded to check the bottle not once, but twice to make sure I had really grabbed the shampoo. It's so thick and creamy, I wholeheartedly thought it was conditioner. This shampoo is awesome (except for the scent) and really helps to heal dry hair. I was more disappointed in the Dry Remedy Conditioner and the Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque. Even though the featured ingredient (Buriti oil) is featured in all three products, the shampoo is really the most moisturizing product in the trio. Strange!

    DoshaCare Vata Cleansing Cream

    Shivaughn's Review

The winter storms we've been having up in the NorthWest has kept me from flying out to work but no doubt the cold weather is all around & my skin is, as always, dryer than ever! However, I've started using DoshaCare 's Vata collection recently- a great line of skin care based on Ayurveda principles. I was slightly leary of using the Cleansing cream but after reading the ingredients I was ready to go, once applying I got a little nervous again, I just knew that when I washed it off my skin would feel crackly & strained. With a quick massaging wash my face felt great, like a rubbery doll. I loved it! Next I applied the Hydrating Moisturizer, my skin was so refreshed & clean it felt amazing - it was lightweight yet deeply moisturizing. The natural ingredients are wonderful; almond oil, neem, jojoba, avocado, green tea... the list goes on and on. Packed with all the good stuff like antioxidants, you can trust it's doing wonderful things for your skin. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an alternative to un-natural products.

  • CND Creative Nail Design SolarSpeed Spray

Love this - dries your polish so quick. I'm totally impatient when it come to nail polish! The scent of this is awesome, just like solar oil (and unlike other brand's quick dry sprays that smell very chemically).

CND Creative Nail Design Almond MIlk Bath

    Love this to soften cuticles

I love when a company reformulates a product & it actually becomes better - much, much better. Creative Nail Design has done just that with the former Solar Scrub. I always found the grains of salt to be way too large and the separation of the salt and oil to be extremely messy. Then, one day recently I was at one of the supply showrooms and they had a testing unit out for all of Creative's new hand products. I saw how brilliantly they worked the scrub over, and it's now named Almond Moisture Scrub. It's white and whipped, almost like when you cream butter and sugar together. This time the salt and sugar are very fine, and the oils (almond, jojoba, Vitamin E and Shea Butter) are blended right in - absolutely no mess what so ever. I bought one for myself, as well as 2 more for stocking stuffers for mom & Shivaughn. Oh and I'm also very into the Almond Milk Bath - a fantastic oil based milky soak, it makes pushing your cuticles back so easy. Love the new items!
