Disney Takes Down Their "Sexy" Version of the "Brave" Princess

So my mom was terrified to give me a razor (as a 14 yr old…apparently I'll cut my throat on accident?) and I had to suffer through Nair for like a year, but that's a whole 'nother story. So then she grudgingly allowed me a razor, this one. AH. I never ever cut myself and I used it for I don't even know how long (waaay longer than you're supposed to, but I didn't notice the shave get any worse). The shave also lasted for so long! It's not a hassle for me with this razor. Partly because I'm lazy, but I only felt the need to shave like once a week. It's so smooth while shaving and easy. Oh, and I only use body soap lathered up by a loofah. So I still got goosebumps, but that's because I'm lazy and it's still a GREAT SHAVE. Sadly my mom replaced the head with a normal 3-blade Venus head. But I'm switching back as soon as I can!

If these are supposed to be for sensitive skin, this brand failed. I've been using wipes right when I get home from school for several weeks. I first used this brand called Simple (at Target, love them!) then when those ran out I wanted something else because they were kind of rough. So I tried these. They are soft (and don't rip) but they burn!! And it was worse today compared to yesterday! So I guess my skin is more sensitive than what "Yes To" expects, even though I didn't think my skin was THAT sensitive. PLUS, with the exact same amount of makeup, there was very little "tan" on the wipe compared to the Simple brand which means it isn't even removing my makeup, and all I use is a minimal-coverage finishing powder. So yeah, it's not working for me.

My hair gets so oily it's ridiculous, so I want something that doesn't leave residue. This definitely doesn't leave residue! My hair feels so light it's great. However, since my hair is medium-thick and curly(ish), it needs more moisture than this offers. So the search continues.

I'm a little biased. I started with Embrace, which I freaking loved, so I felt like I downgraded. But I've never used anything else, so it's probably good compared to others. it's not as smooth while shaving, and much easier to cut myself, but the shave is still a nice shave, I've just had better.

You will never catch me without a lip balm and I've tried them all. This feels so smooth and silky. Like it says, you can feel this balm but it makes you feel like your lips are well taken care of, like a non-sticky gloss (sort of). This is probably because it isn't thick and it glides on. It also has SPF 15 (plus) and the taste is sweet (sometimes borderline too sweet, that's the ONLY thing).

I am a lip balm junkie, let me tell you. I always have one on me and this is one of my favorites! My lips feel hydrated afterwards and its the kind of chapstick that you can feel in a good way.

The colors are nice. It dries fast. But the brush is so fat and the formula is so thick that it's impossible to do a neat job. I'm capable of doing my nails perfectly, but not with this brand. And it doesn't remove very easily (with 100% acetone remover).

To start with my skin probably sets the world record for oil production. The color I got was a little too light and it looked a little powdery all over. The "shine control" was pretty good, nothing lasts forever, but the reason I won't buy again is the package! It sat in my closet and after only a few uses the lid broke off! So when I did need to bring it along with me, it was quite difficult because it made such a mess. Not so great.

Being a teenage girl, my skin is like the BP oil spill. Not pretty. So it's quite difficult to contain that oil. First of all, I picked the color that MATCHED PERFECTLY under the harsh fluorescent lights of Target, however it is slightly too pale in actuality. It looks powdery around the edges of my nose, so I don't put it there. It does have good coverage for a powder, I don't even feel the need for foundation, and the rest of my face looks nice and natural. And now for the "staying matte" part. The packaging says "up to five hours!". Key words: 'up to'. Not 'at least'. So no, it doesn't last all that long. But it's still the best powder I've used, my search just isn't yet over.

I don't use this every time I wash my hair. My hair gets super oily, so I use Pantene Aqua Light regularly (no residue) and this about once every two weeks or so. I really don't think this leaves so much residue itself, however. So my hair is wavy/curly and quite frizzy and poofy when I let it air dry. Because of this, I wash my hair at night and let it dry overnight. The days after I use this shampoo my hair is softer than usual and doesn't feel dry. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy either! I can't say anything about long-term, but it's probably very effective.
