Trusted, well-known brand or not, I wouldn't trust this stuff!
I used this recently while at the lake. Since I had forgotten my face sunscreen, I used this on my face since it burns so easily. First, it burned like crazy and then within minutes, it dripped off from the heat and into my eyes. Not fun. Where I used it on my arms, I ended up with streaks and blotches of sunburn. I would not recommend this at all.

Keep Your Golden Blonde Longer and For a Reasonable Price
I've colored my hair for years and usually use Pureology, which is my favorite. Earlier in the summer, I had blonde highlights put in my hair and my stylist recommended this product, along with the shampoo and conditioner, saying it will really bring out the "gold" in my hair. She was right. I used the Blonde Glam line every other day and used this about once a week and my blonde highlights looked great. They still do and probably will until I get my hair colored dark for fall. Redken is fairly inexpensive and can be found almost anywhere, from salons to drugstores. Unlike other salon brands, this one goes on sale a lot, especially at the beauty stores. So, if you're on a budget, but want to keep your golden blonde longer, I recommend this product.

Pureology Does What it Promises and is Well Worth the Price
I would have given this the highest star rating available, except that the price is high, usually about $25 for an 8-10oz bottle. However, I have been using this brand for a few years now and it's well worth the price. This is the only product line I know of that is for colored hair and it does what it promises. I use this almost daily and only have to have my hair colored 2-3 times a year. It contains 0 sulfates, which is what strips your color. (Panthenol strips it, too.) A little goes a long way, so even with long hair, one bottle last about 3 months. I recommend this to anyone who spends a lot of money to color their hair, because you'll spend less time and money at the salon.
