Ojon Volume Advance Thickening Spray

Not bad, but . . .

I didn't really notice a change in my hair's volume after using this spray. I love other Ojon products, but found this good for only protecting my hair when I used my defuser. Too expensive for the results I (didn't) get.

Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector

Who knew Maybelline had such a winner!

This stuff is great! It went far beyond my expectations. The concealer went on beautifully - smooth, even, with surprisingly complete coverage. It also worked well on some reddish areas. It blended so seamlessly you wouldn't know you had it on. I've spent a lot more on other fancy concealers, but this one beats them all. The highlighter is a nice bonus for "waking up" your eyes after not enough sleep.

Nars Lip Gloss

Gotta Love the "O"

I love this lip gloss! It goes on easily and smoothly and stays pretty well, as far as lip glosses are concerned. I especially like their variety of colors. I love "Org_sm" and it really does seem to look good on everyone, and I don't usually wear anything with a pinky tone to it. I also like Sunset Strip, which doesn't look quite as bright once it's on your lips. Nars is now the only lip gloss I use.

Blistex Silk & Shine

It Really Is Silky and Shiny

I liked this product because it did, indeed, leave my lips soft, silky, and shiny. I tended to use it more as a lip gloss than a lip balm. Unfortunately, I didn't like the smell, and it wasn't heavy enough to have my lips feel protected as they would with a lip balm. Nonetheless, it does feel nice on.

Burt's Bees Lifeguard's Choice Lip Balm

White. . .OUT!

As a lover of BB's original lip balm, this was a disappointment. The consistency was different(not in a good way), and it's just too white on the lips. If they could substitute something else for the titanium dioxide, I would use it despite the harder, somewhat grainy consistency. If you don't mind using zinc oxide on your nose in the summer, you'll probably like this!

Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm

Not Burt's Best

I use the BB's original lip balm religiously (okay, addictively) but the honey flavor just isn't as good. The scent is too strong, and the consistency seems harder and somewhat grainy. I'll be sticking to the original.

Kiss My Face Organic Lip Balms

Not my favorite lip balm

What I do like about this lip balm is the yummy flavors - strawberry and sliced peach are my favorites. Unfortunately, I find the consistency a bit thin and greasy, and it doesn't seem to last very long for me. Nonetheless, I do use it from time to time.

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine - Orange Cream

Too thin and greasy for me

The smell of this stuff was great and I had high expectations, but once it was on my lips, I was disappointed. I prefer a heaver, creamier lip balm and found this one thin and kind of sticky and goopy. I also prefer a stick applicator to the squeeze tube.

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

Not My Favorite

I am a HUGE fan of all the other BB's lip balms, so I thought I'd like this one, too. SO NOT! Although it felt good on, I just can't get past the weird taste/smell. YUCK! Pomegranate just doesn't do it for me.

Badger Organic Lip Balm Stick

Unique Scents!

This is one of my favorite lip balms, partly because the consistency is great and it feels good on, as well as the fact that they make unusual flavor combinations. I like the lavender/orange, ginger/lemon, and rose chai. Different flavors for my different moods! Good price point, too.
