good product overall
I've recently stopped getting acrylics done because my nails were getting too thin and unfortunately, I'm not the best when it comes to painting my nails or very patient when it involves sitting around and letting them dry. Out of the few drugstore products I've tried I would have to say that the Revlon TopSpeed is my favorite product so far. In my experience, when the color is darker it's easier to get away with doing a pretty light coat, which in turn makes the dry time that much faster. I'm usually able to go about my business within 10 minutes, which to me is pretty fantastic in comparison to some other brands. I have a few Essie polishes and sometimes they can be tacky after even 40 minutes. Although I agree that the color selection should be updated consistantly, overall I think that they have a pretty good selection. My top favorites are Orchid, Ocean, and Electric. All of which have turned up being the exact shade in the bottle after being applied to my nails, which I was pretty impressed with. They aren't incredibly long lasting so I would recomment putting an extended life/anti-chip clear coat after drying them in order to have a longer lasting color. The price is pretty fair for what you get and occasionally the near by drugstores do BOGO 50% off, which is just too hard to pass up.

great product, bad price
This product just came to me from the most recent Total Beauty Collection, and although I was very disappointed with its partner (the cleansing water) I found that this one was surprisingly really fantastic. When I opened the sample bottle I noticed that there was a light fragrance that I really liked. When I applied it the moisturizer dried quickly and didn’t feel heavy on my face. I also noticed that it didn’t leave any shine after it dried either, which is a huge plus because with some lotions I’ve noticed I need to keep a blotter paper handy to make sure I get my t-zone afterward. It also does what it claims by reducing any fine lines and leaving you with a nice even canvas to apply your makeup in the morning! The only real downside I can see with this product is the price, at $90 a bottle there is no way I can justify buying this for myself when I know there are products that work just as well for a quarter of the price. BUT, if I did want to splurge on my daily moisturizer, this would definitely be the one I would be heading out to buy.

I just received this product in the most recent Total Beauty Collection and was very excited to try it out, being that I haven’t found too many products I like when it comes to make up removal and pre-bed cleansing. I usually do a pre-wash of my make up before I shower and then afterward I’ll use my makeup remover to get any residual eyeliner or mascara that decided to be stubborn. I decided to try this one after my shower, so I really only had a bit of mascara left under my eyes. When I first opened my sample bottle I found it to have a pretty nice light scent which I really liked, but it all seemed to go downhill from there! I used a cotton pad and dabbed underneath my eye to see how well the product would work without putting any muscle into it, and sadly enough NOTHING came off onto the pad. I then tried actually wiping under my eye and found that barely any of the residual mascara was coming off from underneath my eye. I decided to put a bit of pressure behind it for the third time (but not too much as that area is pretty sensitive) and I was disappointed to see that still, barely much more came off of skin and onto the pad. I mean, I have a Walgreens version of an eye makeup remover that makes this one look like a total joke, especially when we’re comparing something that’s about $5 for a 162mL bottle and this product, which is $48 for a 250mL bottle. On top of that, I also noticed that when I decided to use it on my face as a whole it felt as though it left a kind of layer of grease on my skin, even though in my Total Beauty Collection pamphlet (I’m not sure if that’s the correct word) it says that there is no need to rinse afterward. All in all, in my opinion once you get past the fact that it smells pretty good, this product is a waste of money.

so far so good
Received this in the Total Beauty Collection last month and have been using it almost every day since I got the package in the mail. At first I didn't see too much of a difference when it comes to fine lines (but I don't have too many in the first place, I'm only 22) but I did notice that when I got up in the morning and was feeling pretty groggy, that if I dabbed a little bit under my eyes it would clear up the puffiness really quickly and acutally helped me to look more awake! It also doesn't leave any shine after it dries or make my skin feel greasy, which is one of the things that will instantly make me stop using a product regardless of any other positive qualities it may have. I also noticed that it didn't make me break out, which it strange because my skin is extremely sensitive and I usually have to keep my skin care regimen to a bare minimum. Overall I love the product, it isn't heavy, it dries very quickly and it makes my skin feel soft.

Been Using For Years!
I have been using this product since I was a teenager and I absolutely love it! I have tried other products when the store was out of this one and nothing ever seems to work as well. It makes my hair soft and gives it a nice shine (but not the kind of shine that makes your hair look greasy), it keeps my hair from looking dry and I absolutely love the smell of it. Another great thing about this product is that the price is right! Plus, a bottle can last me a long time due to how much one spray can cover when I apply it. I use it before I use any kind of heat product, whether it be blow drying, curling or straightening. I highly recommend it!

I'm a pale person, I mean REALLY pale. I live in Washington so we don't get a lot of sun, and I've never been keen on the idea of tanning salons. I've tried a few products before and many give me an orange tint, but they were all drugstore products so when I saw some good reviews on the VS website I figured I would give it a shot. Don't get me wrong, from a few feet away it looks great (and smells pretty good too!). The problem is that once you're up close it looks like you've been hit with a glitter bomb. Even worse, it comes off just as easily as it gets put on. I couldn't ven touch my legs after applying because it would get all over my hands. And anything white (skirt, socks, bikini) are a no go unless you want them tinted as well. Overall, really not worth your money.

I wish I could say the same about this nail polish as everyone else has but I haven't been as lucky with this product! I love neutral colors that I can match with any outfit on a day-to-day basis so I chose a really nice gray called "chinchilly". The first time I applied the polish it took almost two hours for it to completely dry. After the first hour I pressed a nail a little to see how it was doing and although it looked done, it left a small imprint of my finger so I had to re-do it. I gave up on the polish for a while but then decided to try it out one more time using a different technique. I applied a much thinner layer and saw that the coat was far from opaque. After it dried (like thirty minutes later) I applied another layer and let that one dry as well. Although in the beginning of letting the second layer dry it looked pretty good, after it completely dried I could still see small areas where I could see through the coating. On top of that, the next day my nails looked much worse, had no shine, and had little knicks in them just from every day activities. Maybe it was just the light color I chose or maybe this is a polish that has to have a clear top coat on it, but for $8 it just wasn't worth it for me. I have had better luck with Revlon which is a lot cheaper.

Best one yet!
I have the most sensitive skin EVER and have spent hundreds on different moisterizers for sensitive skin (even went the organic route!) and this seems to be the only one that doesn't make me break out! My skin looks a bit shiney at first but after about 10 minutes I'll lightly dab the problem spots with some blotter paper and I'm set to put on the rest of my makeup! It doesn't take a full pump of this stuff to go all over my face (I try to do about a half) so a little really goes a long way. One of the less expensive ones I've tried in order to find one that doesn't irritate my skin, and I wouldn't change to anything else! Use it morning and night light clockwork and I never break out anymore.

Hated this stuff, I jumped on the "mineral makeup" bandwagon and well and thought that the true match would be a great brand to start with. I was totally wrong! This stuff made me look like someone threw flour in my face! It felt heavy and with my really light skin it made everything on my face visible. Instead of getting the smooth dewey look I was hoping for I looked like someone who had caked layers of powder on their face and was on their way to the circus! Definitely not a product I would recommend to anyone

I wasted too much money on this product trying to find my "true match" and even with the few shades and all of the tips they had on finding your perfect match, there is definitely no color for me. I have fairly light skin which is extremely sensitive and this product ended up making me break out because of the amount that I would end up putting on in order to get it to blend into my skin. It was obvious in harsh lighting (and even on a somewhat sunny day) that I was wearing makeup and it looked like it was just caked on my face. After a few hours it would start to run regardless of the primer that I had put on underneath it and my face needed to be blotted a few times throughout the day. After trying just about every shade around my skin tone I finally gave up and moved to something else. Not worth the money!
