VIDEO: MINI Claims Women Cause Car Crashes With Their Makeup, Do You Buy It?

For $3, I'd use this product again It's not my favorite, but it does a pretty good job. The wax really does help the unruly hairs stay in place. I was a bit nervous about this set because of the color of the wax and the color of the powder, such contrasting colors of each other. However, I found that the colors would match depending on how much pressure or color you pick up with your brush. I do NOT recommend that teeny tiny pathetic brush it comes with though. I use my own angled brush and Sonia Kashuk has a small eyeshadow/shading brush just like the itty bitty one this comes with.

I usually really like ELF's line of products, but I'm going to have to pass on this one. I did purchase it and was hoping that it would help my unruly, very light, and naturally non-matching brows, but unfortunately, it did nothing for me. The gel didn't hold very long and the tinted part, well, the formula was WAAYYY too wet and would leave streaks on my skin. Plus, because it only comes in one color, which I don't think is really a good idea considering everyone's different skin tones. I have darker skin and my hair is black, so this very light brown doesn't work too well for me. I have a friend is a very light blonde with fair skin and this came off too dark on her. So far, not worth it, but I gave it two stars because I like that ELF attempted to expand their line of products to include this. THey just need to try harder.

One of my biggest issues are my eyebrows. Mine naturally do not match, so every morning, I have to fight them to make sure that not only do I bring them to life, I try to make them look even AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, natural. I cannot stand "sharpie" eyebrows....it makes me shudder. After trying multiple products, I've come to find that the best one really is this Define-A-Brow one from Maybelline. I love that it self sharpens as you twist it open and it's a very, skinny tip that really does produce feathery light strokes. I don't see how any can mess this up because it's super easy to apply and very hard to mess up. Also, the fact that this costs about $6 only greatly helps. I've tried this one and it is a great alternative to MAC's. I noticed that this one lasts much longer. I think the one from MAC has too much oil in it and reminds me more of an eyeliner that comes off really creamy but doesn't have much staying power. It would really suck if half your eyebrow was missing or melted off by lunch right? Never had that problem with this product. I absolutely LOVE it!

I have to admit, I think Baby Lips is introducing a new revolution of combined lip balms and lipsticks. I love the fact that it is soooo moisturizing and gives off some color as well. I have the peach, pink, red, and clear one. I love using the clear one under my lipstick. It helps glide them on so smoothly and even applying it over a matte lipstick. Even my little sister who has an allergy to most lipsticks is stoked about Baby Lips because she can finally add some color to her lips without having an allergic reaction. I love the color pigmentation on these. They're light but enough to show a "natural" sheen on your lips. I love how soft they look too. It's hard to describe and it really does make your lips look AND feel softer. The only reason I didn't give this a full 10 was because they don't have more colors and the tubes itself are not labeled with the colors on it. It's only on the clear plastic label and once you take that off, it's gone, so I have no idea what the names of the colors are, but I guess that's not so important.

I was really hesitant about buying this because of the price, but after watching Kandee Johnson and other YouTube gurus boasting about it and all its glory, I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I kinda regret it. I didn't experience the same results they did. I know we all have different skin and skin types and skin reactions, but still. I don't feel that the application process was so great. Mine definitely did not feel creamy. It felt really hard and almost chalky. When I applied it to my face using the sponge it came with, it was very "chalky" and did not blend out very well. At first I thought it was because of the sponge but the next time, I used my Sigma Sigmax F82 brush to apply and found that it was hard to just even get the product onto the brush and experienced the same problem when applying it. Also, this product states that it's so good that it even covers tattoos....I don't know about that claim. It barely hid one of my color spots on my cheek. I still had to use my concealer for that one. I also noticed that it made me look like I had caked on foundation which I was not happy with. Overall, I think this was truly over-rated and does not work for me.

I got this brush as a gift with a purchase at Ulta and my, my, my, I have to say. This brush is totally worth its price whatever it is! It is super soft and pillowy-ish. I love how full it is but gives off such a nice blended look. I love this one as much as I love my MAC 224 brush, perhaps maybe even a little more because I've noticed myself grabbing this one more often. Even after washing, I've not noticed a difference in the way it applies. It still gives off great color and great depth especially when using it to apply a deeper color in the crease area (not for me, I have monolids, but for others I put make up on). I can't get over the fact of how soft and fluid this brush is. I haven't used much of smashbox's brushes, but I think I definitely will and in the near future too.

Although, this primer is good, it didn't meet my expectations. I have rather large pores and visible acne scars. The sales rep at Sephora recommended this primer because of it's intense concentration. I tried it on my wrist as she tested it out there and although it worked great on the lines around my wrist, that's not exactly what I was going to be purchasing for. It does hide the pores a little bit, but I find that even with foundation and concealer on, it doesn't look any difference than the other primers Smashbox already carries. I've tried the light and the regular one. I like the Light one because I have oily skin and it feels great and works very well. I go back and forth on this product. I don't really like it and don't really want to use it but I did spend over $30 for it, so I try to use it when I can, but truth be told, I really feel like I'm forcing myself to use it because of the price. The formula is very thick (in my opinion) and when applied to my face, it doesn't seem to want to go on smoothly either. Maybe it was just the actual one I got, but I don't think it does anything "more" than the other regular primers.

I absolutely love this mascara. I mean....seriously. I have such small lashes that even when I wear hundreds of coats of most other mascara, you can barely tell I even have any on. But not with this one, 3-5 coats (depends on the occasion) and I'm good to go! Like my title says, I have 2 and a bunch of travel ones. I carry one of the full size in my makeup train, the other full one in my purse, a small travel size one in my to-go makeup bag, one travel in my desk at work, another travel size in my car, and another travel one in my other car. I seriously love this mascara. Everything from the formula, the consistency of it, the fact that it doesn't flake, it doesn't make my lashes look like spider webs, and it actually really lengthens my lashes. This isn't the waterproof version, but unless you plan on going swimming or taking a shower with it on, I think you're okay. Also, HOW CUTE IS THE PACKAGING??? I love it! So gorgeous and sooo totally worth the price. One of my favorite (if not the only) product from Tarte!

Maybelline New York Volum' Express Falsies Flared Washable
Good, but definitely not what it promises
Let me just start by saying that I really do love this mascara. The reason why I'm rating it as I did is because I feel that the labeling and name for this product is very, very misleading. I don't believe that it makes your lashes look so long that you don't need false lashes. In fact, what irks me the most is that in the commercials, it is very obvious and clear that the models are wearing false lashes. I can't stand labels that promise or practically guarantees that a product will do something or last for a certain amount of hours and it fails so easily. I didn't purchase this product going in with the belief that it would make my eyelashes look long like I was wearing falsies. In fact, one of my best friends has long lashes and when she put this mascara on, it didn't do anything other than darken her lashes (like any mascara would) and give it a light curl. I bought this product to test to see just how well it would perform. Aside from the promises, I think this mascara is one of the great ones in the drugstore. The formula is just right, not too wet but not so entirely dry either. I didn't notice any flaking or clumpiness while using this product. And of course, the spoon brush was great for my little lashes. I can't decide if I like this brush more than the one from CoverGirl's Lash Blast. I still think that Maybelline should've named this product something else because it is a good product, just not enough to live up to the ridiculous name and promise they came up with.

I would've never thought that NYC would beat out all the other brands...even high end ones like Laura Mercier. I only purchased this one because I didn't have any lip products and ran into a ghetto Wal-Mart and this was the only thing closest to the color I needed and I only had a couple of bucks with me. Boy! It was soo worth the whole $3 I spent on it. At least, i think it was $3. I don't remember exactly how much it was. Anyway, I got my color in Smooch Proof and it came off so beautiful. It was kinda funny because it's like a giant magic marker. My niece thought I was using one (lol). My favorite part about this stain is that, it actually lives up to it's name! This is the ONLY product that I've come across that has done for me what the label and packaging promised. The label is called "Smooch Proof" and once it dried, it was smooch proof. And it states that it lasts for 16 hours. Now, I didn't actually count the minutes, but it did last me from the beginning of a work day all the way to the end of the day right when I was taking my makeup off at night, so I know it lasts for at least 12 hours, which is good enough for me. And most of all....IT ACTUALLY IS A LIP STAIN! It's not a gloss, not a lipstick, not a lipbalm, etc. It does stain your lips (but in a good way) and contrary to what others say, I love the scent. I'm going back to get more because I love this product and is my favorite from NYC.
