Totally affordable, Refreshing, and My Husband Digs it Too
Thanks to word of mouth, I rediscovered St. Ives products! I always associated the brand with body lotions, but now THIS is the product that I adore. I don't have major complaints about acne, so I didn't buy this to solve an acne problem. I'm in my 40's with combination skin and enough wacky hormones to trigger a pimple here and there. I've read that adding a cleanser with Salicylic Acid to your routine will boost the effectiveness of other anti-aging products. I was anxious about jumping into a product that has 2% Salicylic Acid, but was wonderfully surprised that this didn't irritate or overstrip my skin of necessary oil. My husband, who is 50, loves this too. We keep it in the shower, for which the packaging is ideal. Last but not least, the price makes it a no brainer. Try it.

It's a new favorite; can't wait to try it in front of the camera
This foundation's claim to be the choice of make-up artists who need good coverage for photography caught my eye. As a hobbyist photographer, I take a lot of close-ups and can appreciate the importance of a foundation that can stand up to the camera lens and lighting. As for my skin -- I have combination skin that still gets shiny mid-way through the day (I'm in my early 40's). Even after 6 hours of wear on a humid day, the foundation stays fresh. Both 125 and 123 worked with my complexion, without one or the other giving me an unnatural cast. I paired up the foundation with Makeup For Ever's primer. As for price, I've paid even more than $40 and was less impressed with those.

Cream + Oil is perfect combination.
I'm in my early 40's, and thought this might be too rich for my skin. I was wrong! This lotion is just the right blend of oil + lotion, so that your skin absorbs the product. The scent is moderate, and this isn't overly heavy. My only remark is that it feels a bit "tacky" on your skin when you first put it on. It doesn't keep me from using this, though, and buying it over and over.

Fine as a moisturizer
I used this until I ran out of the gel side of the product (first). It moisturized just fine - no complaints. But I was hoping to see more of lift (hence the name?). Neither side irritated my eyes or the skin around them, and my make-up wore well over it. I'd suggest this for someone in their 30's. At 40, I want something with a little more lift "ooomph."

Ambivilant about visible results
I suppose the anti-oxidants in this eye cream could have done me some good without my really seeing the difference. But after using the entire tube of this, I won't buy it again. I've since tried another Neutrogena product for my eyes. Its consistency is a little tacky, so I could only use it at night. Perhaps since I don't have much more than natural aging affects (i.e. expression lines), there wasn't a need for this yet.

Fine, Thin Hair LOVES this product
If you have fine hair, this is so amazing (chances are, it's amazing regardless of your hair texture). But as someone who has hunted for the holy grail of styling foams, I'm just glad it works on my fine hair. I have layered hair that also needs the help of product to get some lift from my blow dry. All it takes is 3-4 pumps of Phomollient, and I get the lift on my crown that I need + smooth bangs and tapered ends that behave. This product isn't affected by humidity, nor does it get sticky or tacky if I end up stuck out in the damp weather. As far as price & value...I don't blink an eye. (p.s. no need to shake to get the foam. bonus that it never ever clogs like some foam products that you have to shake).

Counting on these antioxidants this summer
I bought this because my skin care line-up lacked products with antioxidants. Although I don't over-do direct sun exposure on my face like I did in my 20's and 30's, I wanted something that would combat the bad effects of everyday exposure. What I like: it's light, absorbs extremely quickly, and doesn't cause my foundation to get shiny. What I don't like: this product has a weird smell. Remember those chewable baby aspirin -- the kind that had that orange flavor? That's what this reminds me of. I'm used to it now, but I had to bear with it the first week or so.

Excellent before putting on your foundation!
I've been using this this product since MK introduced it, and it absolutely tops my list of skincare products. I'm in my early 40's and have combination skin. I was skeptical before I first tried it, because I have never considered myself as needing additional moisture. But after one try, I was hooked. I experienced the unexpected benefit of my foundation going on more smoothly. This is light, fresh, and it's one product that really feels like it's delivering moisture, not weight. Best of all, I can use it in the summer, despite living in a humid climate.

My first and favorite Microdermabrasion product. It's a must-try
I hadn't used Microdermabrasion products before I bought the Mary Kay set (i.e. Step 1 and Step 2)), but I've experimented with a few since then. To date, I have not found an over-the-counter product that I like better or has more value. As for how my skin feels -- holy moly, after this it is smoother than ever. I have never run into any problems with irritation (I have combination skin with a breakout here and there). Compared to other brands, the consistency and texture of the Mary Kay Refiner is the best. It doesn't separate, it's not too thick or too thin, and its level of coarseness doesn't leave you feeling like you're scraping your skin off! Best of all, the pair of products are also sold separately, since the Refiner tends to get used up more quickly than Step 2. Definitely try it!

Replenishing, Yes. Pleasant Favor & Aroma? Not so much.
I'm a crazy happy fan of Burt's Bees products, but this is one that I won't buy again. I've read about the wonders of Pomegranate, so I thought I'd give a try. I was already using the Burt's Bees shampoo/conditioner with Pomegranate in it, and I love it. As for the lip balm itself and its ability to keep my lips feeling good -- I give this a thumbs up. I just personally didn't enjoy the Pomegranate taste/scent. It's perfumey to me in this product, and it's too overpowering.
