I hate spending money on beauty products. While I will spend money on better quality products (see my other posts for Origins), I hate to spend a lot for everyday items. I also say that because I don't use any facewash everyday. I go back and forth with a less expensive to a more expensive one. It may not be true, but it feels better to me. I follow the same idea as washing your hair with different moisturizers. I LOVE the Green Tea Toxin Cleanser from the MADE FROM EARTH brand. Its is non-oily. It has a consistency to a bit thicker than softsoap and it looks pearly. Don't use too much... it's not necessary. The lather is great! The smell is excellent and it does work. It lasts a long time and is a decent price for the product. I feel like it clears pores well, which is also why it is drying (but I also have naturally dry skin).

I have very baby fine hair that began thinning as I got older. I've tried every shampoo I could find that said the word "volumizing" and bought them. Needless to say, not one of those products stood up to their word. I had been using Shielo's Volume Flexible Hair spray for quite some time and then I'd use a hair pick to 'lift' areas so my hair appeared to be fuller. The scent was just wonderful and it washed out with little effort. After blow drying and styling my hair, it did appear thicker and fuller as if I had more hair. I used the Shielo Volume Shampoo as well, and it took about 3 washings for the results to show. My hair took to the curling iron set on low with less time and I achieved better loose curls that lasted longer. It must have been pretty obvious as I was getting comments such as "did you get extensions in your hair?". I just said "no, I got smart and got Shielo"

I've tried almost all of the organic facial products and the Lady Soma Renewal Serum is one of my personal favorites, especially because of the light scent (my husband has not complained about this one when we go to bed). I have normal-to-oily skin, so I have to make sure to use the right products that won't clog my pores. The serum absorbs well into my skin, so it does not feel greasy or thick. The price is affordable for a high end serum. I love the pump-style instead of a jar, so that I can control the amount.

I used to have splotchy, rough skin until I started using the Rooibos Tea Face Scrub along with the Vitamin Enhanced Face Firming Serum from the Made from Earth organic skincare collection. It's lightweight, non-greasy, and instantly quenches thirsty skin. I've been using it for two weeks now and I have a brighter, extremely softer and smoother, more even-toned complexion. A little goes a long way, about a pump and a half accomodates my entire face and neck. It's affordable and VERY effective.

Hey there, I have combination skin (T zone) as well.. The moisturizer I use is from Shielo.. It's called Shielo Complexion AntiAging Moisturizer .. I don't know if you'll find the similar one where you stay.. But this moisturizer from Shielo is for oily or combination skin .. I really like this brand.. It doesn't cause me any break outs.. Hope this helps!!
