For me there is only one
Although I often stray and have multiple tubes of random mascaras going at once always, the one I reach for on the most regular basis, the one I rebuy and the one I always have on hand is Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes. It is so good that if I were told I had to get rid of all the others and never use anything but one mascara, it would be my choice and I wouldn’t have a hard time deciding. It lengthens - I have pretty long lashes naturally, but this mascara makes them look almost fake, which I love; it thickens – it’s definitely more lengthening then thickening and again I’m blessed with pretty good lashes but I do notice improved thickness as well; it holds a curl like nobody’s business – I would never be found without my trusty eyelash curler but this mascara assures that one curl in the morning is all my lashes need to stay curled; and most importantly: it has amazing staying power – it lasts and lasts and it never ever flakes. The purple, snakeskin packaging isn’t half bad either but to me there are so many other selling features.

No more melt-away
If you tend to have a slightly oily lid, and have experienced eyeshadow melt, or crease or any of those other 'sliding eyeshadow' issues then this is the product for you. UDPP is amazing. It applies clear and forms a weighless layer that will allow your eyeshadow to go on smoothly and stay put just the way you did it all day long. This is definitely the 'holy grail' of eyeshadow primers. One note of warning - the bottle design, albeit cute, is not very product friendly in the sense that you cannot really bend the wand to get at the product accumulating on the walls. A few beauty bloggers have discovered just how much products stays in that little bottle. Take a read of the following article (http://dblacknessmac.blogspot.com/2008/01/udpp-has-been-holdin-out.html) before you throw away your bottle and save yourself some cash...

I'm on the fence
A friend of mine and I went to MAC for makeovers. The MUA who did my makeup (which turned out amazing btw) used this as the primer for my face (I have a very oily t-zone and am very very prone to breakouts). The Matte along with MAC Studio Stick foundation and a couple other products and my face was the most flawless and shine-free it had been in next to forever. My friend and I went out clubbing that night, and my face stayed shine-free. I was very impressed. I didn't end up purchasing any of the face stuff then, because I still had primer, mineral foundation etc that I was using. When my primer ran out, i thought, hey why don't I give the MAC Matte a try. So I bought it. It's a lot more slippery than I had thought, which makes me know that it does include a lot of silicone. It does blend very nicely, goes in smoothly and does make my face matte... ...here's the downside... It doesn't stay matte all that long... by noon/1 pm-ish my forehead is a nice sexy oil slick yet again. So I have't yet decided if it was the combo of the Matte plus MAC foundation, blog powder etc that made and kept me matte. I do feel like likely in combo with MAC foundation it would probably yeild better results. We'll see, I am planning on switching to the MAC studio stick ones my Mineral stuff runs out

Can't get any better
There's really not much to say about this mascara except that it is fantastic. The rubber bristles make for no-clump application. The formula makes my lashes go on forever. It holds a curl from the eyelash curler real well. It doesn't smudge or flake. All around great mascara. And it's drugstore priced which makes it even better. I have both the black and brown-black and I can't imagine ever being without them. I'm actually about to pick up the waterproof one for the summer. I've heard people complain that the big brush and large handle are awkward for them but I don't find that I have an problem with it at all. This is definitely my go-to mascara.

This one's a keeper
I am loving this product. I live in Washington DC. The summer weather here is, in a word, humid. I was looking for a product that I could add to my hair routine that would contain sun protection and would keep my curly hair frizz free. I've found it. Summer Hair has sun protection, which Fekkai calls 'solar shield'. This means that with even with the sun pounding down and a high UV index, the money i spent at the salon getting my hair colored and highlighted is not just going down the drain. The scent is what i'd describe as 'tropical' - a mix of coconut and citrus that's fabulous. My usual hair routine is: I spray leave-in conditioner onto damp hair, add a bit of gel and scrunch, usually i follow this up with a moisture-locking spray to keep my curls soft and frizz-free. For the summer i've replaced my gel with Fekkai Summer Hair. I spray in conditioner, follow with Fekkai Summer Hair and a bit of my moisture-locking spray, i turn my head upside down, shake the curls out a bit, scrunch with a towel (this takes off excess product), and let my hair air-dry. I'm left with beautiful curls that are full, soft and not frizzy at all. In the hightest humidity this product does fall short a tiny bit, but the amount of frizz I'm left with while using Summer Hair is almost nothing compared to that which I'd have without it. This product is definitely going to have a permanent summer home in my beauty cabinet, and I can't say that about many products; I'm constantly changing them up.

Great for sensitive skin
I've been fighting with problem skin (acne, oiliness) for years. Somewhere along that fight, after tons of different crazy strong products my skin on top of its regular issues developped extreme sensitivity to everything. Because exfoliation is such an important part of keeping skin healthy and clear, I was looking for a product that would do a great job of exfoliating and not leave my face as red as a tomato and so irritated that it stung. I was attracted to the Boscia line because it is all natural and contains no preservatives (I believe that it is some type of preservative that causes my skin to freak out). I've been using this scrub twice a week for about 2 months now and it is amazing. I have no irritation, just beautiful, healthy, soft skin. I highly recommend this scrub to anyone who is looking for a product that won't irritate their sensitive skin.

Get this brush!!
Without hesitation I give this brush a 10. It took me a while to decide on a retractable brush. I desperately wanted one to carry in my purse so that I could avoid the gross germy-ness of the little sponges that come with compacts as well as one that was self-contained to avoid picking up things in my makeup bag (makeup particles, germs etc). What made me chose this one? A few things: cute design, super super soft bristles and the fact that it is, for a kabuki brush, very compact (just over 3 inches in length, an inch in diameter). From the first time I used it I knew this was my new love. It's so amazingly soft (Too Faced uses Teddy Bear Hair, so if you don't want natural bristles because of animal cruelty concerns it also meets this requirement) you just want to run it over your face over and over. It picks up and distributes both loose and compact powders very well, so well in fact that I take it along to use with my mineral foundation instead of my regular kabuki when I'm travelling. Oh and so far, no shedding at all. I love love love this brush. A definite keeper.

Love this cream
I've tried a ton of eye creams and this is by far one of the best. I noticed some fine lines starting to form at the corners of my eyes recently and after calming down from my minor freak-out started researching eye creams: obviously the one I was using just wasn't working. I love the boscia line and decided to go with the eye treatment to see if it could solve my woes. One of things I love is that the ingredients are all natural, no parabens etc. I've been using the cream twice daily for about three weeks now and i've already started seeing a difference, the fine lines are still there of course but they seem way less noticable. My skin is super sensitive and this doesn't irritate at all. I give it a 9/10 because I'm not seeing a huge difference in under-eye darkness (three weeks is a bit early to judge anyway) but it's not a huge problem for me so I can't have anything but love for this eye treatment. It's definitely a keeper!

Great for sensitive skin
This is a really fabulous toner. It's very light and has a nice soft fragrance that isn't overpowering; to me it's nice light summery smell that makes me think of the tropics. One of the features that I like best is the fact that the dispenser is a spray so there's no chance of contamination. It is very light and refreshing and doesn't dry skin at all. I've had a bout of extra sensitivity - my skin has been getting red at even the most gentle of products - this toner has become part of my arsenal in combatting the crazy redness. The other great thing about it is it doesn't contain any artificial preservatives, no parabens etc. I definitely recommend it.

This is THE sculpting tool
If you're looking for a great tool for contouring and highlighting cheeks, this is it. The brush is nice and soft on the face, it picks up pigment well and distributes it evenly. I'm using for my MAC sculpt & shape face powder and it's got the perfect angle to for both the contour and highlight. Love this brush.
