I have two of these eye shadows - Skyline and Celestne, which are included in the Smokey Eye Tutorials. It seems to me that Bare Escentuals' double-ended eye brush is a better tool to use these loose powder eyeshadow to avoid a messy application. When I used another mini brush, the powder fell all over. A very nice BE salesgirl showed me a few tricks such as adding a drop of water for a more intense look. The dark blue/gray Skyline and the shimmery Celestine color are nicely pigmented, feel light, and look pretty on my eyelids. But unfortunately the color does not stay long all day. Even with a primer or eyeshadow base, I usually re-apply in the mid-afternoon. But I love the colors and I am still planning to try a few more different shades.

Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub
The exfoliating beads are very gentle but not "weak", thus, I can use a few times a week. It removes dirt and oil from my face effectively, but not exactly unclogging any pores. I also feel that this scrub itself does not treat my acne, but it seems to help to soothe my acne prone skin. The price is unbeatable, an...d this is one of the great drugstore scrubs. I like their Detoxifying Daily Scrub slightly better because it removes some of make-up too.

This is my fourth primer product over the years. I have tried Laura Mercier's both original primer and oil-free primer, and Smashbox Photo Finish. This one may be my second favorite. Just like most of primer products, it makes my face smooth and get ready for foundation. The texture is similar to Smashbox's, a bit thicker side of primer. My mineral foundation sticks and seems to stay better a little, but I don't think it does much for oil control or to hide my pores. All in all, I use this primer for mineral-based foundation, but for liquid foundation, I don't think I would need to use this one.

My favorite Aveda product
Am I silly to confess that this Comforting Tea is my favorite Aveda item? lol. It has a wonderful earthy and bold taste, yet it is caffeine-free and naturally lightly sweetened. It is soothing and relaxing, and I think that drinking this tea helps my digestion too. First I received their tea bags as a gift, and I loved it very much. I was sad when it was over. And I got the loose leaf version as a gift too, and this is better than tea bags because I can control how much I want to drink, and how strong I want it to be. So in the end, this lasts longer and is a much better value than the tea bag form. It is still quite pricey to be my daily tea.

Nice but could be a lot better
I bought this shave cream because it was a little bit cheaper than any of the Aveeno shave gel products at the time of the purchase. The cream was thick so it sometimes clogged my razor, but washed away (from the skin and the razor) easily. It allowed me to do a close and smooth shave and left no residue. The scent was good, and I also liked that it left no rust ring, which I give two thumbs up!! Yeah, I say it was moisturizing for a shave cream, but still I needed a body lotion or butter after shaving with this. I like the look of the pump, but not the function of the pump. It was wasteful because I could not finish the whole bottle with this pump dispenser. Even with some flaws, overall this shave cream is not bad, however, when Aveeno is cheaper or sold at the similar price range, I will definitely buy Aveeno Ultra Calming Shave Gel or Aveeno Therapeutic Shave Gel.

What I like about this floss is that it rarely breaks in my mouth so no string stuck between the teeth. It is a bit more expensive than some store brands, but that's to be expected.

I have the "Dunes", which is great for the bronze or autumn look. The texture of each color is powdery, but soft and light like velvet. When applied for the first time, I noticed that it was not chalky at all, but at the same time the color was not very vivid. Therefore, I had to apply a few times. For the price I paid, I expected to the color to stay much longer, but unfortunately, I needed to re-apply during my bathroom break. This quad is good for sheer shadowing, but for a more intense/vivid shadowing you will need something like Clinique Touch Base for Eyes.

Alluring and sexy without being overpowering
The fragrance of Guilty is softer and warmer than Envy. Basically it is musky, but not a masculine musky. I often find that warm and oriental perfume smells too spicy, but not this one. A good balance of sweetness and muskiness makes this perfume feminine, extra alluring and comforting. It can be a little strong at first, but it dries down nicely. The lasting power is not the greatest but the scent does not fade away completely. I love the vintage design of the bottle. Although I still prefer the fresh scent of Gucci Envy slightly, lately I find myself reaching for Guilty more often...maybe it is because of the cold weather.

Average at best
I always use shampoo and conditioner from the same line and the same brand. When I stayed at a relative's house for a week recently, I had to use this shampoo, but the conditioner was from another brand (why did I not pack my own?! Grrr...) .The bottle said L'Oreal-Vive Pro Smooth Intense Shampoo for Dry, Frizzy, or Rebellious Hair with Medium Texture. Yes, dry, frizzy, or rebellious hair, that's what I have with coarse texture! The color of the shampoo was clear orange, and unlike my expectation, it did not smell fruity, rather soapey. It did not do much to my hair, except cleaning. It was not very moisturizing. My hair was still frizzy and dry. I don't know if the matching conditioner had made a big difference, but after washing my hair with this shampoo I needed an intensive conditioner or hair mask to restore moisture, softness, shine and manageability.

Plausible only for small fine wrinkles
I have oily/combo skin with adult acne as well as wrinkles, which are mostly fine but some deep. My first tube is almost over. I use this before I go to bed as an all over face moisturizer, not as a wrinkle filler for a specific area. The tip is very small (I guess because the tip applicator is designed as a filler). I have to squeeze to get out a decent amount of the product. What I like about this cream is that it is almost fragrance-free, and the consistency is surprising neither too thick nor sticky. First I was still afraid this moisturizer would cause more pimples than usual, but thankfully it didn't. I would not call this "Instant" line reducing moisturizer. After about 3 weeks I started noticing gradually that some of tiny wrinkles became a bit less visible. But I started using Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel around the same time too, so I don't know if the face peel, this moisturizer or the combination is the one that has helped reducing the appearance of the small fine wrinkles. Nevertheless, I have not seen any difference on deep wrinkles like crow feet and smile lines around my mouth. I expected much more improvement since they are sold at Kohl's for $40 plus some dollars.
