Sally Hansen No More Mistakes Manicure Clean-Up Pen
Could use some improvements, but still worth it!
I usually do my own nails, and frequently get a bit of nail polish on my cuticles or on the skin around the nail bed. I usually try to scrape it off right away with some cardstock but sometimes I don't always get all of it. I know some people use Q-tips and polish remover but sometimes the little fibers from the Q-tips stick to the polish. This clean-up pen isn't perfect in that the tip tends to get gunked up and then it doesn't work as well. But following one of the reviewer's tip to dip it in polish remover and wipe it off would probably help. Overall a pretty useful tool, worth the couple of bucks I spent!

I bought it on clearance at Ulta, hoping to prevent split ends from blowdrying my hair, but no such luck. Didn't seem to "protect" my hair from heat damage at all, nor did it help with styling. The texture is kind of like a soupy Jello. The bottle is nice looking and easy to use. It didn't harm my hair at all, but I personally wouldn't buy this again.

although now I have tried more products, so I don't feel quite the same way. I loved the scents as a kid, although now I think they're just a touch too artificial. The gloss adds a bit of shine and sparkle, but not really any color. The texture is fairly slick in my opinion, and the formula isn't very moisturizing. They're very inexpensive and fun glosses to have but I probably won't repurchase these any time soon.

When I was first learning to do french manis, I bought these to make things a little easier. If I applied them while my basecoat was still slightly wet, it would lift the basecoat. Rarely, the polish would seep under the manicure guide, but generally it wasn't too bad. I thought these were pretty decent, although now I've learned to paint on tips freehand. I would consider repurchasing these if I still struggled with my at home french mani though, especially since they're fairly inexpensive.

Love it. The bottle is just lovely looking, simple but still elegant. The scent itself is a lovely lemon scent. Unlike some lemon scents, it doesn't smell like household cleaner. It has a creamy, slightly sugary scent, with just a tiny hint of musk. The lasting power is alright, kind of what's to be expected for a Bath and Body Works eau de parfum. This is a little spendy, but awesome.

Loved it. The texture of the cream is so rich and smooth, and very moisturizing. The scent itself is a lovely lemon scent. Unlike some lemon scents, it doesn't smell like cleaner. It has a creamy, slightly sugary scent, with just a tiny hint of musk. I'm not really a fan of the jar packaging--I prefer squeeze tubes. And this is a little spendy, but awesome.

I really like the idea of these palettes--refillable, less waste than traditional packaging for eyeshadow. However, the applicator is just okay, and the mirror is handy but very small and narrow. I do like that you can see through the case to see which shadows are inside. The palette is made of decently thick plastic, and seems to be of okay quality. I personally haven't had any problems with it falling apart, even after more than a year, but I don't use them that often since the quality of the shadows is just okay (but that's another review altogether).

Greasy--definitely a treatment to wear with socks around the house, not something you can wear and then go out the door! I agree with the other reviewer who said it's more oily/balm like than cream in terms of texture. Smells more like mint than coconut, although you can barely detect the coconut. It is fairly moisturizing though. Not sure how well I like this--it's a decent enough product but I think there are better products.

The first time I tried these, they were on sale and I didn't think they'd work, but figured, eh, why not? (especially with my Avon rep discount). But they were great! Easy to hold, great tweezers. They do get a little dull faster than I'd like, but still great. I've purchased several more already (and everyone in my house keeps stealing them!). Get 'em on sale and stock up. Good to keep in your purse.

It's just NOT very good. It smells like it's trying to be sophisticated but it just doesn't work. Too heavy for me.
